Arnold resident Phillip Jeffrey Fish died March 2 at a Sacramento hospital. He was 41.
Mr. Fish was born in Sanger and died following a three-year illness with acute promyelocytic leukemia.
He graduated Sonora High School and attended Columbia College.
Mr. Fish served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was an instructor at Weapons Training School in Soulsbyville. He was also a security officer at Columbia College.
Mr. Fish is survived by his wife of 16 years, Brenna M. Fish, of Arnold; children Alex Fish and Nicholas Fish, of Arnold; parents Phillip and Barbara Fish, of Twain Harte; brothers and sisters-in-law, Grant and Linda Fish, of San Antonio, Texas, and Michael and Alyson Fish, of Conway, Ark.; his sister, Deborah Keenan, of Raymond, Madera County; his grandmother, Rosalie Fish, of Clovis; two nephews; one niece; two aunts and three uncles.
A Rosary service will be held at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday with a memorial Mass to follow at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 127 W. Jackson St., Sonora.
An evening reception for family and friends will follow services Wednesday. Hooper and Weaver Mortuary of Nevada City is handling arrangements.

HUNTER — Kathleen Hunter, 64, of Columbia, died March 2 at her home. Heuton is handling arrangements.
MAACK — Annelore Maack, 80, of Twain Harte, died Monday at her home. Terzich and Wilson Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
McKAY — James McKay, 97, of Sonora, of died March 4 at Sonora Regional Medical Center. Heuton Memorial Chapel is handling arrangements.
McMULLEN — Marion McMullen, 102, of Sonora, died March 4 at Avalon Care Center. Terzich and Wilson is handling arrangements.
STOCKTON — James Stockton, 75, of Sonora, died March 2 at his daughter’s home in Alameda. Heuton is handling arrangements.
