Veronica Klein Stockard
March 2, 1918 — March 6, 2012
Angels Camp resident Veronica Klein Stockard died March 6 at her home. She was 94.
Mrs. Stockard was born in Harper, Texas, the youngest of eight children born to Jacob Klein and Rosa Lang Klein.
She met and married Ralph Stockard, in Kerrville, Texas, and had two sons there. In 1942, the family moved to Southern California during World War II to work in the defense industry. Mrs. Stockard retired from Northrop Aircraft as a computer analyst after 40 years. In 1989, Mr. and Mrs. Stockard moved to Stelte Park in Angels Camp. The couple enjoyed traveling and visited all 50 U.S. states and traveled several times to Europe. They also enjoyed going on cruises and were married 73 years.
Mrs. Stockard enjoyed walking and could be seen walking all over Angels Camp and San Andreas.
Mrs. Stockard is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Michael and Pat Stockard, of Valley Springs, and Don Stockard, of Angels Camp; grandchildren and their spouses, Stacy and Jim McGee, of Anaheim Hills, Wendy and Tom Figueroa, of Moorpark, and Todd and Colleen Stockard, of Broomfield, Colo.; and six great-grandchildren.
Burial will be at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Kerrville.
Donations can be made in her name to Hill Country Youth Ranch, 3522 Junction Highway, Ingram, TX 78025.

Brett Lane Webber
Nov. 5, 1955 — March 4, 2012
Longtime Calaveras County resident Brett Lane Webber died March 4 at a Sacramento hospital. He was 56.
Mr. Webber was born in Sonora and moved to Angels Camp with his family in 1970. He enjoyed the outdoors and his favorite pastimes were hunting and fishing.
Mr. Webber is survived by his father, Vernon Webber; his mother, Bootsie Webber; his sister, Valena Martin; his brother, Jerry Webber; his niece, Emily; and nephews Greg, Cole and Aiden.
A memorial will be held at a later date.

MOYLE — Leland “Lee” Moyle, 88, of Sonora, died March 14 at Avalon Care Center. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. March 23 at Terzich and Wilson Funeral Home, 225 E. Rose Avenue, Sonora. Terzich and Wilson Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
SANDERS — Margaret “LaVerne” Sanders, 91, died Friday at Sonora Regional Medical Center’s Long-Term care. Terzich and Wilson Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
WOODS-CAYLOR — Shelly Woods-Caylor, 61, died Saturday at her home. Terzich and Wilson Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
