Edgar ‘Ed’ Moomey
July 15, 1931 – June 1, 2012
Tuolumne resident Edgar “Ed” Moomey died June 1 at his home. He was 80.
Mr. Moomey was born at home in Gresham, Neb. He lived in the Bay Area until 1991, and was a printer for Emporium Capwells in Oakland.
After moving to Tuolumne, he worked in campground maintenance for Dodge Ridge and the U.S. Forest Service at Summit Ranger Station. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife, Connie Moomey, of Tuolumne; and his daughter, Dee England, of Seattle.
No services are being held.

MERTZ — Carl Mertz, 68, of Coulterville, died Wednesday at Mercy Medical Center in Merced. Terzich and Wilson Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
RICKARD — Marshall Jay Rickard, 87, of Sonora, died May 31 at a Modesto hospital. The Neptune Society is handling arrangements.
