Obituaries for July 8, 2013

Louise B. Fullaway 

March 5, 1925 — June 12, 2013

Angels Camp resident Louise B. Fullaway died June 12 at Foothill Village in Angels Camp. She was 88.

Mrs. Fullaway was born on a small farm in Waldron, Ark., and moved to California in the 1930s.  

She attended high school in Manteca and graduated from Humphreys Business College in Stockton. 

She married Wilbur Fullaway on Nov. 4, 1950. 

Mrs. Fullaway was a housewife and also worked for Sharpe Army Depot as a civilian legal secretary in property disposal.

She and her husband bought Calaveras Lumber in Murphys and a house in Angels Camp in 1976. They moved to Turlock in 2010 before recently settling in Foothill Village in Angels Camp. 

Mrs. Fullaway enjoyed traveling with her husband and antiquing.  

She was a Christian and longtime member of Sierra Bible Church in Murphys. 

Mrs. Fullaway was preceded in death by her husband 63 years, Wilbur Fullaway, in May; and sister, Inez Barry. 

She is survived by her children and their spouses, Mary and Paul Jacobson, of Stockton, and Michael and Diane Fullaway, of Angels Camp; two grandchildren, Joshua Fullaway, of Modesto, and Jodie Brixey, and her husband, Jason, of Farmington; and two great-grandchildren.

A graveside service has been held. 

Donations in her memory can be made to Murphys Covenant Church P.O. Box 35, Murphys CA, 95247.

Clyde H. Seeman

Jan. 4, 1935 — June 14, 2013

Angels Camp resident Clyde H. Seeman died June 14 St. Joseph’s Hospital in Stockton. He was 78.

Mr. Seeman was also born at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Stockton, to Delbert and Edna Seeman. 

A second generation Calaveras County resident, he grew up on the family ranch in Rail Road Flat. 

He graduated from Calaveras High School in 1953 and worked as a laboratory technician for Calaveras Cement for 34 years. 

It was through a friend at the plant that he met his future wife, Roberta Beltramo, of Angels Camp.  

After the plant closed, Mr. Seeman worked as an assayer for the Carson Hill and Jamestown mines. 

Mr. Seeman was an avid sportsman and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed playing cards at La Contenta Golf Course and traveling on the West Coast. 

He was a member of the Angels Gun Club and the Native Sons of the Golden West. 

He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Seeman. 

Mr. Seeman is survived by his wife on 45 years, Roberta Seeman, of Angels Camp; his daughters, Sherri Walker, of Salinas, and Cindy Graves, of Modesto; sisters-in-law, Marie Seeman, of Redding, Sharon Crespi, of Concord, and Chrisalee Hendrick, of Clayton; brothers-in-law, Robert Crespi, of Concord, and Ivan Hendrick, of Clayton; his grandchildren, Tiffany DePaz, of Keys, Jeannette Sandoval, of Salinas, Melissa Sandoval, of Salinas and Nicole Sandoval, of Salinas; and five great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

Services have been held.   

Angels Memorial Chapel handled arrangements.
