Goldie Ellen Hagen
Feb. 27, 1932 — June 22, 2014
Goldie Hagen went home to meet Jesus on Sunday, June 22, 2014, at the age of 82.
Goldie was born in Nezperce, Idaho, to Norman and Margaret Stellmon. She was raised on a ranch. After high school she worked in the medical field for over 40 years.
Goldie met and married the love of her life, Don Hagen, in 1951. They were married for 48 years until Don’s passing in 1999.
Goldie and Don retired to Mi-Wuk Village 28 years ago. They loved camping at Clark’s Fork Campground, where they were camp hosts for a few years and loved it.
Goldie is survived by her son, Norman Hagen and his wife, Carol; daughter, Shelley Coit and her husband, Ron; grandson, Ryan Coit and three great-grandkids, Madison, Colby and Lewie Coit.
On behalf of Goldie and her family, we would like to thank Connie and others from Hospice for their amazing care, love and friendship the last six months of her life. Thank you and we love you!

Ronald Duane Randall
Dec. 2, 1943 — July 13, 2014
Ronald Duane Randall was welcomed into Heaven July 13, 2014.
He was born Dec. 2, 1943, in Round Up, Mont., and spent his childhood years in his beloved Nevada. Ron raised cattle and enjoyed hunting, fishing, working hard, and lending a hand.
Ron was a long time member of the Calaveras Historical Society, Cattleman’s Association, Farm Bureau, and served several other community organizations.
Ron is survived by his wife, Joanne Snyder Randall; son, John Randall (Sarah); granddaughters Reagan Randall and Natalie Randall; mother, Lillie Randall; sisters Gloria Shupe and Clara Komar; brother, Harry Randall Jr., and several nephews and nieces, as well as many whom he loved and cared for.
A celebration of life will be held Thursday, July 17, at 10 a.m. at Good Samaritan Covenant Church in Rancho Calaveras. Memorials may be sent to Cowboy’s Rest Christian Camp, 435 Jiggs Highway, Unit 4, Spring Creek, NV 89815.
Caley ‘Joe’ Long
June 12, 1954 — July 11, 2014
Caley “Joe” Long, a 14-year Tuolumne County resident, passed away on July 11, 2014. He was 60 years old.
Caley was born in Oregon on June 12, 1954. He was a lead porter at the casino for 10 years.
He enjoyed fishing, motorcycles, camping, barbecuing and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Caley is survived by his wife, Joanie Long, of Tuolumne; his mother, Calla Long, of Bullhead City, Ariz.; two daughters, Heather Ponce, of Modesto, and Tawnya Lerma, of Tuolumne; his son, Caley Long, of Sacramento; his two brothers, Robbie Long, of Kaui, Hawaii, and Michael Long, of Tempe, Ariz.; his sister, Marsha Hill, of Bullhead City; and his nine grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 18, at 3 p.m. at Heuton Memorial Chapel.
