Loren Glen Bright

Groveland resident Loren Glen Bright died July 1 at Sonora Regional Medical Center. He was 88.
Mr. Bright was born in Brown County, Ind.
He was an aeronautical engineer and worked as director of research support at NASA’s Ames Research Center in Moffett Field for 35 years.
He settled in Tuolumne County 35 years ago.
Mr. Bright enjoyed history, golf, hunting and traveling the country in his motorhome. He also collected guns.
Mr. Bright was preceded in death by his of wife 44 years, Virginia Bright, in 2006.
He is survived by his children, Molly Bright, of Concord, and Chris Bright, of Groveland; sister, Juanita Moberly, of Indiana; granddaughter, Megan McFalls and her husband, Greg, of Illinois; and two great-grandchildren.
A private family services have been held.

Freeland ‘Fritz’ Robinson Jr.
Sept. 20, 1943 — July 3, 2013
Altaville resident Freeland “Fritz” Robinson Jr. died July 3 at Mark Twain Medical Center in San Andreas. He was 69.
Mr. Robinson was born in Eureka to Betty and Freeland Robinson.
He worked in construction for 25 years and settled in Altaville 30 years ago.
He enjoyed motorcycles and playing pool.
Mr. Robinson was preceded in death by his wife of 30 years, Judy McCrank; and his father, Freeland Robinson Sr. in 1991.
He is survived by his mother, Betty Robinson, of Minnesota; his children, Kenneth McCrank, of Victorville, Jerald McCrank, of Copperopolis, Tony Robinson, of Stockton, and Loree Hunt, of Dixon; his siblings, Darlene Robinson and Jim Robinson, of Minnesota; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Aug. 3 at Utica Park in Angels Camp.
Angels Memorial Chapel is handling arrangements.
DIONNE — Daniel Dionne, 70, of Sonora, died Wednesday at his home. Terzich and Wilson Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
FISHER — Mishale Fisher, 37, of Sonora, died July 6 at her home in Sonora. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Heuton Memorial Chapel, 400 S. Stewart St., Sonora. Heuton Memorial Chapel is handling arrangements.
HOLLINGSWORTH — Lily Hollingsworth, 100, of Sonora, died Sunday at Avalon Care Center. Heuton Memorial Chapel is handling arrangements.
LAPERTCHE — Daniel Lapertche, 50, of Jamestown, died Wednesday at his home. Terzich and Wilson Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
MAEGHER — John “Tim” Maegher, 69, of Jamestown, died Tuesday at his home. A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Terzich and Wilson Funeral Home, 225 E. Rose St., A burial will follow at Mountain Shadow Cemetery in Sonora. Terzich and Wilson Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
