Victoria Lee (Park) Wade

June 18, 1956 — June 17, 2013 

Tuolumne resident Victoria Lee (Park) Wade died June 17 at Sonora Regional Medical Center. She was 56. 

Mrs. Wade was born in San Jose to Claudia and Carl “Bud” Park. 

She became a licensed barber after high school and did that for many years on and off in the San Clara County area. 

She worked in in-home care after she moved to Tuolumne in 2000 and began bartending some years later. 

She enjoyed singing, attending concerts, water-skiing and watching sports. She also collected novelty kitchenware and baseball caps. 

Mrs. Wade was preceded in death by two nephews and a cousin. 

She is survived by her parents, Claudia Stillwell, of Sonora, Carl “Bud” Park, of Oroville; brothers, Paul Stillwell, of Gilroy, David Stillwell, of Oroville, and Michael Wilson, of Sonora; and sisters, Melody Behbahani, of Morgan Hill, Wendy Metz, of Harriman, Utah, and Tammy Park, of Colorado; and a half-brother, Jeffrey Park, of Oregon. 

No public services will be held at her request. 

Heuton Memorial Chapel is handling arrangements. 

Bridget M. ‘Bessie’ (Cardamone) Toole

Oct. 25, 1922 — June 17, 2013

Columbia resident Bessie (Cardamone) Toole died June 17 at her home. She was 90.

Mrs. Toole was born in Conshohocken, Pa., to Ralph and Josephine (Morasco) Cardamone. She attended Conshohocken High School and a business school in Philadelphia. 

She worked at Gordon Clothiers in Conshohocken for 15 years and became the store manager. 

She moved to Columbia seven years ago to be with family. 

Mrs. Toole was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Sonora and its Busy Bees Club. In Conshohocken she was a member of SS. Cosmas and Damian Catholic Church and helped with activities.

She was an artist and a member of Conshohocken Art League. She also enjoyed crocheting and sewing. 

Mrs. Toole was preceded in death by her husband of over 30 years, Vincent P. Toole; sons Terence Toole and Jack Toole, and all her siblings, Frances D’Alessandro, Edith Collum, Jean Carr, Sylvia Ambrose, Eleanor Cardamone, Samuel, Michael, David, Joseph, and Meo Cardamone. 

She is survived by her children and their spouses, Robert J. and Sharon Toole, of Conshohocken, and Joanne Toole and Herb Tout, of Columbia; daughter-in-law, Patricia Toole, of Pennsylvania; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Services and burial were in Conshohocken. 

Heuton Memorial Chapel is handling arrangements. 


ROCHA — A memorial service for Dominic and Jeremiah Rocha, twins born deceased to Kim and Miguel Rocha, will be held 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at Woods Creek Rotary Park, Woods Creek Drive, Sonora.
