Arthur William Breiter

Arthur William Breiter, of Groveland, died Dec. 30 at Memorial Medical Center in Modesto. He was 86.
Mr. Breiter was born in Berkeley.
He served in the U.S. Navy from 1944 to 1946, in the Okinawa campaign. He received a Meritorious Mast for his duty.
Mr. Breiter worked as a plumbing contractor for 44 years in Walnut Creek.
He moved to Groveland to be near a cousin and because he enjoyed the golfing in the area, his family said. He lived there for 12 years.
Mr. Betz was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Bonetti; and stepfather, Frank Santos.
He is survived by his wife, Bernice Breiter, of Groveland; son, Steven Breiter, of Citrus Heights; and sister, Joan Blake, of Roseville.
A memorial will be held at 1 p.m. on Feb. 18 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Groveland, Highway 120, Big Oak Flat.
Neptune Society of Central California in Modesto is handling arrangements.
BAILEY — Wathagene Bailey, 87, formerly of Pine Mountain Lake, died Tuesday, in Bellingham, Wash. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Feb. 2 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 119 Texas St., Bellingham. A reception at the church will follow. Westford Family Funeral Home and Cremation is handling arrangements.
MARTINEZ — Johnny Martinez, 68, of Jamestown, died Wednesday at his home. Terzich and Wilson Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
SULLIVAN — William Sullivan, 88, of Jamestown, died Tuesday at his home. Heuton Memorial Chapel is handling arrangements.
