Stephen Chisolm
June 21, 1946 — Feb. 17, 2012

    Groveland resident Stephen Chisolm died Feb. 17 at his home. He was 65.
    Mr. Chisolm was born in Los Angeles and was a member of the American Legion Post 791 in San Jose, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He enjoyed cooking, gardening, collecting wine and making beef jerky.
    Mr. Chisolm worked in liquor distribution sales and enjoyed giving people vegetables from his garden.
    Mr. Chisolm is survived by sons Michael Chisolm, of Los Gatos and Ryan Chisolm, of Groveland; his daughter, Jennette Chisolm, of Ben Lomond, Santa Cruz County; his aunt, Jan Avery, of Tucson, Ariz.; and grandchildren Brooke Chisolm, of Los Gatos, and Dana Brandau, of Ben Lomond.
    A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
    Heuton Memorial Chapel is handling arrangements.

Pamela Linnes
Dec. 16, 1938 — Feb. 19, 2012

    Tuolumne resident Pamela Linnes died Feb. 19 at Avalon Care Center. She was 73.
    Ms. Linnes was born in San Francisco and lived in Tuolumne for 40 years. She owned and operated Foothill Grille in Sonora for 10 years.
    Ms. Linnes enjoyed art, show rabbits, gardening and music by the Grateful Dead.
    Ms. Linnes is survived by her husband, Robert Schultz, of Tuolumne; her son, Mark Peaker, of Grants Pass, Ore.; her daughter, Janet Somolinog, of Kona, Hawaii; her brother, Carry Linnes, of Orcas Island, Wash.; her sister, Jane Smith, of Trail, Ore.; and grandchildren Savon Brenneman, Alysha Brenneman, Yvonne Somolinog, Tania Simpkins, Kyle Peaker and Jesse Peaker.
    A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
    Heuton Memorial Chapel is handling arrangements.

Sylvia Brown Sherrill
May 14, 1959 — Feb. 21, 2012

    Tuolumne resident Sylvia Brown Sherrill died Feb. 21 at Sonora Regional Medical Center. She was 52.
    Mrs. Sherrill was born in Marysville. She was a homemaker for 31 years and lived in Tuolumne for 26 years.
    Mrs. Sherrill is survived by her husband, Larry Sherrill, of Tuolumne; daughters Karla Glover, of Barstow and Tiphanney Sherrill, of Tuolumne; brothers Gary Brown, of Cottonwood and Eugene Brown, of Salem, Wash.; her sister, Rose Cotney, of Wyoming; and grandchildren Alec Hendricks, Allie Hendricks and Altin Hendricks, of Tuolumne, and Morgan Glover and Sarah Glover, of Fort Still, Okla.
    No services to be held.
    Heuton Memorial Chapel is handling arrangements.

    PANTO — Marie Agnes O’Connor Panto, 95, formerly of Sonora, died Feb. 20 in Placerville. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Friday with a reception to follow at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 3109 Sacramento St., Placerville. Green Valley Mortuary of Rescue is handling arrangements.
    SHARON — Allen Sharon, 66, of Sonora, died Friday at Doctors Medical Center in Modesto. Terzich and Wilson Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
