David Anderson

June 26, 1984 – Aug. 8, 2004

Josiah David Anderson of Sonora died unexpectedly Sunday at a Jamestown home. He was 20.

He was born in Fresno and had lived in Sonora for four years. He worked as a self-employed laborer for one year. He attended a local home church.

His family said he enjoyed music, snowboarding, baseball, swimming, weightlifting and the outdoors.

Mr. Anderson is survived by his parents, Brian and Debbie Anderson of Sonora; a brother, Jon-athan Anderson of Sonora; and grandparents, Judy Walpole of Sonora, Leo Anderson of Garden Valley, El Dorado County; Mary Anderson of Rio Linda, Sacramento County; and Len and Betty Fraser of Tennessee.

A memorial service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday at Chapel in the Pines in Twain Harte.

Mr. Anderson supported a child through World Vision. Donations in his name can be made to World Vision Memory Gift, P.O. Box 78481, Tacoma, WA 98481.

Mary Lee Robertson

Oct. 18, 1938 – Aug. 8, 2004

Mary Lee Robertson of Murphys died Sunday at her home. She was 65.

She was born in Philadelphia and had lived in Murphys for the past five years. She had lived in Redmond, Wash., for 35 years. She worked as a stock broker.

She was a member of First Congregational Church of Murphys.

She is survived by her husband, Don Robertson of Murphys; sons, Ken Conner of San Rafael, Marin County, and Doug Conner of Thermopolis, Wyo.; a daughter, Cristine Conner of Seattle; a brother, Dr. Robert "Skip" Arbuckle of Whitefish, Mont.; a sister, Suzanne Moore of Cypress, Orange County; her mother, Irma Brandt of San Mateo; and three grandchildren.

A memorial service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday at First Congregational Church of Murphys.

Donations can be made to ALS Association, Bay Area chapter, 140 Geary St., San Francisco, CA 94108.

Thelma Lucille Wilkinson

Jan. 28, 1913 – Aug. 9, 2004

Thelma Lucille Wilkinson of Murphys died Monday at her home. She was 91.

She was born in Dallas and had lived in Murphys for the past three years. She previously lived in Monterey and was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Walter Wilkinson of Murphys; a son, Neil Wilkinson of Gilroy; a daughter, Janis Olson of Murphys; a brother, Clyde Corder of Morro Bay, San Luis Obispo County; a sister, Doris Munden of Agoura Hills, Los Angeles County; three grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

At her request, no services are scheduled.

Angels Memorial Chapel is handling arrangements.


WOLF — Clifford Wolf, 96, of Sonora died yesterday at a Sonora hospital. Visitation is scheduled from noon to 5 p.m. tomorrow at Heuton Memorial Chapel. A funeral service is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Sonora Baptist Church. A graveside service is scheduled for 3 p.m. Saturday at Wood Colony Cemetery in Modesto. Heuton Memorial Chapel is handling arrangements.
