Wesley A. Drake Jan. 11, 1935 — July 27, 2011 Valley Springs resident Wesley A. Drake died July 27 at his home. He was 76. Born in Albion, Maine, to Aubrey and Gertrude Drake, he graduated from Besse High School. He worked as a truck driver for Certified Grocers in Stockton for 37 years. He was a member of the Maine Mason Lodge 45 A.F. and A.M. He enjoyed shopping, his horses and traveling in his motor home from California to Maine with his wife. Mr. Drake is survived by his wife, Sandra Drake, of Valley Springs; children, Randall and wife Annette Drake, and Andrew Drake, all of Anaheim, and Timothy Drake, of Riverside; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a nephew. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Lillian Hamlin. A private graveside service will be held Friday at the Newington Town Cemetery in Newington, N.H.
