Dora Marie Bridgham

Dora Marie Bridgham, 83, of Columbia died Friday at a Sonora hospital.
Mrs. Bridgham was born in California and had lived in Columbia since 1979.
She had been a waitress for Rosetti's Restaurant in Wallace. Her family said she had a very good work ethic.
She enjoyed crafts, camping, walking on the beach and especially her family. She was a member of Gold Country Social Club, a card club and was very active at Tuolumne County Senior Center.
Mrs. Bridgham is survived by three sons and a daughter-in-law, Richard Bridgham of Sonora, Rick Bridgham of San Leandro and Roy and Carry Bridgham of San Diego; a grandson, Richard Bridgham of Sonora; a brother, Albert Puccinelli of the Bay Area; and a sister, Elizabeth Bowden of Campbell.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Bridgham, in 1995.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow at Terzich and Wilson Funeral Home. A private family inurnment will be held at Columbia City Cemetery.

Alonzo "Lon" Jones, 91, of Sonora died Friday in a Livermore veterans hospital.
Mr. Jones was born in Hull Lake, Wash., and had lived in Sonora since 1947.
In 1937 he bought the Pioneer Hotel in Sheep Ranch and was the proprietor until the early 1940s. He then worked in Los Angeles for the war effort and was drafted into the Army in 1943. While on the front li
