8:46 a.m., Mi-Wuk Village — A man was assaulted at the Sierra Village Chevron on Highway 108. He said the subject pushed him against a pole and beat him, resulting in a concussion and eye injury.
9:19 a.m., Sonora — About $114 worth of car cleaning supplies were stolen from Hertz Rental Car on Mono Way.
9:39 a.m., Columbia — A purse was stolen on the 21800 block of Parrotts Ferry Road.
10:44 a.m., Jamestown — Someone attempted to gain entry into the Mother Lode Coffee Shop over the weekend by jimmying the front door, damaging a screen and kicking in the back door.
1:59 p.m., Sonora — A woman was cited for shoplifting at Kohls on Mono Way.
3:31 p.m., Twain Harte — A woman lost her wallet at Wayne’s Twain Harte Shell last week and said nearly $2,000 has been charged to her credit cards.

1:09 p.m., theft — A woman’s cell phone was stolen from a shopping cart at Safeway on Sanguinetti Road Monday night.
3:59 p.m., controlled substances — A woman in the passenger seat of a green Ford Explorer lit a marijuana pipe while the car was heading southbound on Washington Street from the courthouse. The vehicle appeared to have juveniles inside.

WEDNESDAY
1:29 p.m., Don Pedro — Several young people were trying to sell marijuana in front of the Don Pedro Market on Highway 132.
4:06 p.m., Sonora — A woman left her house on the 22400 block of Colorado River Drive at 1:30 p.m. and returned at 4:05 p.m. to find her back door kicked in and a 52-inch TV missing.
4:34 p.m., Sonora — A U.S. Postal Service worker was on her mail route and turned onto Meadowbrook Drive from Phoenix Lake Road. A man was driving toward her and swerved into her lane, running her off the road to the edge of a ditch. He got back in his lane and yelled at the woman as he passed her. She identified the driver as a resident who she has had an ongoing dispute with.
6:57 p.m., Twain Harte — A man was working near Woodwardia Road and Twain Harte Drive for a vegetation management company, and found what he believed to be a stash of stolen items including a VCR, video camera, propane heater and chain saw.
7:01 p.m., Jamestown — A woman left her home on the 17900 block of Seco Street without locking the front door. When she returned, she spotted someone running out of her back door. No items were missing or damaged.
9:41 p.m., Tuolumne — A person’s house on the 18600 block of Carter Street was egged.
10:02 p.m., Willow Springs — People were hanging out near Oman and Lawler drives in a “no trespassing” area. They were drinking and had a small fire.
10:29 p.m., Sonora — A man was arrested for public intoxication after a party on the 13200 block of Armitstead Circle was broken up.

5:22 a.m., Tuolumne — A small amount of a substance resembling meth was found on the gaming floor of the Black Oak Casino on Tuolumne Road.

1:20 p.m., controlled substances — Several young people were smoking in Coffill Park on Washington Street. Officers confiscated a small amount of marijuana and paraphernalia and asked the subjects to leave.
4:48 p.m., reckless driving — A man who left Zane’s Iron Horse Lounge on Washington Street and appeared to be intoxicated, got in a vehicle and drove east on Stewart Street.
5:08 p.m., reckless driving — Two small children were riding in the back of a dark green Jeep Wrangler without seatbelts or car seats on Mono Way, heading westbound toward Highway 108.

3:10 a.m., Jamestown – An RV parked near Preston Lane and Seco Street appeared to have been broken into. A man said he spotted a small fire next to the RV and put it out.
7:46 a.m., Sonora – A construction trailer at Durnall & Campora Propane on Industrial Drive was broken into.
8:24 a.m., Sonora – A vacant rental property on the 16100 block of Acorn Drive had damage to a window and door, the result of an apparent attempted burglary.
8:45 a.m., Jamestown – A real estate office on Main Street was burglarized, and fire was set to a painting and file cabinet drawer.
9:13 a.m., Sonora – A camera was stolen on Saturday from a cabinet at Bear’s Garden Florist on Mono Way.
9:42 a.m., Jamestown – The Auto Outlet on Highway 108 was burglarized sometime after 1 p.m. Saturday. The office was also vandalized, and tires in the shop were slashed.
11:31 a.m., Tuolumne – Binoculars and cash were taken from an unlocked pickup truck on the 18500 block of Baker Avenue.
2:27 p.m., Tuolumne – Checks were stolen from the 19300 block of Porto Fino Road and had been forged.
2:37 p.m., Jamestown – A man on the 18500 block of Railbed Road said that his sister’s caretaker altered a $50 check to $550 and cashed it.
3:21 p.m., Jamestown – A woman on the 18900 block of Rawhide Road said a female was stalking her and taking pictures of her. The suspect was also spotted taking photos of the woman’s vehicle and license plate.
5:36 p.m., Tuolumne – A woman said the back tire on her vehicle parked at the Tuolumne Apartments on Tuolumne Road was slashed. She reported a second slashed tire at 7:11 p.m.
10:01 p.m., Groveland – A woman said her home on the 19000 block of Digger Pine Street was burglarized and a flat screen TV was stolen while she was at work.

6:58 a.m., theft – Items were taken from an unlocked vehicle on Elk Drive sometime during the night.
7:35 a.m., animal complaint – A resident on Symons Lane said a neighbor’s two dogs have repeatedly come onto their property and killed goats. The dogs were described as a black-and-brown Rottweiler and gray-and-white husky.
7:50 a.m., property damage – Footings to new construction were knocked down and fencing was taken out in an apparent unreported traffic accident on Shaws Flat Road.
2:57 p.m., theft – A rear license plate was stolen off a vehicle on Saturday.
6:08 p.m., theft – Batteries were stolen from the portable generators out of the lower field of Sonora Elementary School on Greenley Road.

2:49 p.m., Jamestown — A man said his car was stolen by hitchhikers he picked up on Eighth Avenue at Eighth Street. He said he picked up a man and woman and the man pulled a knife on him, after accusing him of soliciting sex from someone. The male hitchhiker swung the knife at the driver, cutting his hand, so the driver got out of the car to run and the couple took off in his vehicle.
5:34 p.m., Twain Harte — A home was broken into on the 23400 block of Cypress Circle. Jewelry, cash, coins, electronics, guns, alcohol and a chain saw were stolen.

1:05 p.m., Sonora area — A man said his wallet was stolen from his truck on McKamey Court and someone used his debit card at two mini marts.

1:58 p.m., Tuolumne — Someone tried to cash a fraudulent check at a business on the 18300 block of Tuolumne Road.
2:07 p.m., Columbia — A man said two or three women stole various items including a water hose and mirror from his residence on the 22600 block of Lower Quail Mine Road.
3:06 p.m., Tuolumne — A man wearing a mask and black sweatshirt broke into a residence on the 20300 block of Canyon View Drive. He left out the back window and fled toward Ponderosa Way when the homeowner arrived at the residence. The homeowner also saw another man similarly dressed walking into the woods across the street from the residence.
3:31 p.m., Long Barn — A residence on the 29600 block of Lassen Drive was burglarized.
5:29 p.m., Columbia — Someone called to report a vehicle fire on the 13300 block of Calle Quartz Drive. The person called back eight minutes later to report the fire had been extinguished.
8:44 p.m., Tuolumne — A man was sitting in the middle of Tuolumne Road wearing a backpack near Summerville High School.
The Sonora Police Department reported the following:
WEDNESDAY
10:20 a.m., controlled substances — Sonora High School staff said they could see suspected marijuana in plain view inside a vehicle on North Washington Street. The juvenile student was cited and released on suspicion of possessing marijuana at a school.
12:03 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A Democratic Party volunteer stated someone painted or sprayed the front of window of the party’s headquarters on North Washington Street. The window was cleaned off and no damage was done, but the volunteer wanted the incident documented.
12:26 p.m., school assists — Sonora High School staff said someone called a student’s mother claiming her son had been kidnapped. Officers confirmed the student was at school and determined it was a prank call.
6:48 p.m., theft — A woman said she left her purse on a bench outside of a business on South Washington Street and someone took it.
7:52 p.m., public intoxication — A 22-year-old man was arrested and booked into Tuolumne County Jail on suspicion of public intoxication after refusing to a leave a bar on South Washington Street.

12:49 p.m., Sonora area — Fraudulent charges of about $500 were made on a West America debit card in Mexico. The card belonged to a resident of the 18200 block of Jacobs Road.
1 p.m., Columbia — An officer counseled a Columbia Elementary School student regarding a knife he found at school on the 22500 block of Parrotts Ferry Road, then tried to hide from a teacher.
1 p.m., East Sonora — A suspect was seen on video shoplifting a bottle of wine from a store on the 13700 block of Mono Way.
6:28 p.m., East Sonora — A woman left Kohls on the 13700 block of Mono Way with stolen merchandise.

4:32 a.m., Sonora area — A man on the 19200 block of Rockridge Way called 911 because he heard someone came through his front door loudly, but it turned out to be his father.
7:28 a.m., Mi-Wuk Village — A residence being remodeled on the 24000 block of Golf Links Drive was burglarized. Someone kicked in the garage door and stole construction tools. Photos of a shoe pattern on the door were taken during the investigation.
8:42 a.m., Jamestown — A business on the 18100 block of Main Street was broken into and the back door was damaged. A vandalism report was taken.

1:30 a.m., Columbia — An arrest was made after deputies responded to the 22700 block of Sawmill Flat Road for a physical dispute between a man and a woman.
7:34 a.m., Strawberry — A construction trailer on the 28300 block of River Road was burglarized. The lock mechanism was broken and tools were taken
10:02 a.m., Don Pedro — A man on the 8200 block of Las Cruces thought he saw his stolen refrigerator for sale on Craigslist. He saw items in the picture that he left in the freezer.
2:19 p.m., Sonora area — A man on the 17500 block of Buttercup Circle said he has had several metal items stolen. He didn’t want a criminal report but wanted increased patrol in the area.
2:20 p.m., Groveland — A man on the 19500 block of Chamberlain Court said someone tore a screen off and entered his vacation home through a window, but nothing appeared to be missing.
2:41 p.m., Jamestown — Someone fraudulently took out a student loan and Paypal account in the name of a resident of the 18800 block of Omega Mine Road.

7:51 a.m., suspicious circumstances — A South Nevada Street man said a transient was in his backyard. When confronted, the alleged trespasser claimed he was looking for a knife he dropped the day before.
9:54 a.m., controlled substances — Someone on West Sunset Street said a neighbor in the area was growing marijuana plants. Officers contacted the neighbor and confirmed the person was in compliance with medical marijuana laws.

4:32 p.m., pedestrian checks — Someone flagged down an officer because a man was locked inside a lumber yard at a business on South Washington Street. Dispatch made contact with a keyholder and officers forced entry to allow the person to leave. The keyholder arrived and secured the business.

12:42 p.m., burglary — An unknown man carrying a backpack walked inside a residence on South Barretta Street. When the homeowner confronted the intruder, he ran out the back and into the neighbor’s yard.
6:43 p.m., fraudulent activities — A woman on Pesce Way said she found an advertisement on Sonoraville, an online exchange, for an iPhone 4 that was for sale. The woman contacted the phone number on the advertisement and agreed to pay $100 for it. The female seller assured her the phone was not stolen, but the buyer found out that it was after contacting AT&T. She tried calling back, but was unable to reach the seller.
7:10 p.m., suspicious circumstances — While parked at a signal light at Mono Way and Fir Drive, someone said a man with a shaved head and goatee approached the car window while brandishing a knife. A second man crept up to the window on the other side of the car and yelled “boo.” He was dressed in all black and holding a banana.
