The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:


8:52 a.m., Big Oak Flat — A caller reported “extremely loud banging” and “male and female screaming” at the Longfellow Mine on Big Oak Road and Henderson Street.


9:03 a.m., Columbia — The front door was “busted out” at a mobile home park office on the 22400 block of South Airport Road.

10:08 a.m., Twain Harte — Someone reported seeing a man walk into bushes off the side of the road on the 21800 block of Confidence Road several times over the previous couple of days and come out with a bag. The caller believed it may have been drug related.

11:06 a.m., Sonora area — A woman bought $378 worth of items at a business on the 20000 block of Highway 108 with a check that turned out to be stolen.

11:58 a.m., Pinecrest — A man said a woman accused him of being a pervert while he was at a campsite at Pinecrest Lake and Dodge Ridge roads. He said the woman threatened to “put a knife in his neck” and then left to another area with a group of male “rednecks.” He also claimed they chased him with their car and threw rocks at his van. The man said he wanted someone to talk to the people because he thinks they were “acting like vigilantes” and he has “causation to sue for mental distress.”

12:43 p.m., Tuolumne — A go-cart frame was stolen on the 18400 block of Cedar Street.

2:09 p.m., Crystal Falls — Someone on the 22000 block of Feather River Drive said an unknown person is used a 7-year-old’s Social Security number for employment.

2:37 p.m., East Sonora — A woman lost her small brown purse with about $60 cash in it at a business on the 13700 block of Mono Way.


Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs:


12:45 p.m., Mi-Wuk Village — Michael Jason Barajas, 39, of the 18500 block of Pradera Real Road, Sonora, arrested at Highway 108 and Pela Road.

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:


5:36 p.m., burglary — A woman reported a burglary at her house.


3:21 p.m., suspicious circumstances — Someone said there was a man “casing vehicles” in a parking lot on Sanguinetti Road. Officers spoke with the man, who turned out to be a new business owner passing out fliers.


The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:


10:02 p.m., Wallace — A business was burglarized on Dowitcher Court.

1:45 p.m., Angels Camp — A business was burglarized on Highway 49.

3:34 p.m., Mountain Ranch — There was a fight on Mountain Ranch Road.

6:24 p.m., Angels Camp — Someone reported a burglary on Jaquima Drive but it was later determined to be a civil issue.

2:35 p.m., Mokelumne Hill — David Lee Gallup, 40, of the 8300 block of Highway 49, booked on suspicion of assault and misdemeanor obstructing an officer after an arrest at his home.


Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs:


1:03 p.m., Copperopolis — Thomas Craig Young, 38, of the 100 block of Bridle Point Circle, arrested on Bridle Point Circle.


12:28 a.m., Murphys — Corinne Aileen Mendoza, 58, of the 200 block of East Mitchler Avenue, Murphys, arrested on Main Street at Highway 4.
