Sheriff's reports

MONDAY

6:35 a.m., Twain Harte — The owner of the Mug on the 23000 block of Fuller Road said planter boxes were turned over, lighting broken and picnic tables moved into the road.

8:44 a.m., Twain Harte — The owner of Twain Harte Minature Golf said planter boxes were broken and blades on the windmill on Hole 18 were damaged.

11:20 a.m., Long Barn — A woman on the 21000 block of Lakeview Drive said a wishing well was stolen and someone attempted to break into her house.

11:26 a.m., Jamestown — A man said five rings and a pin were stolen from Jamestown Mercantile on the 18200 block of Main Street.

12:32 p.m., Twain Harte — A vehicle parked on Greenview Drive was burglarized.

1:35 p.m., East Sonora — A caller said a child was locked inside a blue Jeep Liberty parked in The Junction shopping center. The vehicle was gone when a deputy arrived.

2:16 p.m., Standard area — A woman said two people who were told not to dump their household garbage into a commercial trash bin did so anyway.

2:57 p.m., Don Pedro Reservoir — A man was brought into the Don Pedro Recreation area with an injured leg after a tubing accident.

3:05 p.m., Don Pedro Reservoir — A caller said a 23-year-old woman received a broken nose in a personal watercraft accident.

3:25 p.m., Fraser Flat — A Fraser Flat campground host said she was having problems all weekend with three people in a campsite and that they refused to leave.

6:03 p.m., Tuolumne — A man said his wallet was stolen from his unlocked vehicle parked at River Ranch Campground on Cottonwood Road.

6:11 p.m., Jamestown — A woman said her 10-year-old son was near Rocca Park when he saw a naked woman standing in a window of a nearby house that should be vacant.

6:33 p.m., Mormon Creek area — A woman on the 9600 block of Mormon Creek Road said she lost her black cow with a white face.

6:50 p.m., Twain Harte — A man on the 23000 block of Highway 108 said he was threatened by another man.

7:07 p.m., Tuolumne — A man said another man with a dark curly hair and a heavy beard threw a beer can at the caller's car and then brandished a knife.

9:33 p.m., Sonora — A man said he lost his wallet at or near Sonora Crossroads shopping center sometime in the last four days.

10:39 p.m., Sonora — A Sonora Regional Medical Center employee said a woman was in the hospital for treatment who said she had been assaulted.

SUNDAY

4:59 a.m., Jamestown — Cody William Casner, 18, 16500 block of Dutchmine Road, Jamestown, booked on a warrant charging him with animal cruelty and failure to appear after an arrest on the 18300 block of Highway 108. He was released Monday after posting $6,000 bail.

MONDAY

1:26 a.m., Cold Springs area — James Charles Stanley, 43, 700 block of Mann Court, Oakdale, booked on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance and marijuana and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop and arrest on Highway 108 east of Jenness Park.

According to a sheriff's report, a deputy found .48 gram of methamphetamine and 1.5 grams of marijuana in Stanley's car. He was released Monday after posting $10,000 bail.

Scott Alan Riddle, 28, 400 block of Colfax Street, Modesto, booked at 6:30 a.m. Saturday after arrest on Highway 108 at Peaceful Oak Road, East Sonora.

Anthony Louis Ramirez, 21, 300 block of Forest View Drive, San Francisco, booked at 8:05 p.m. Saturday after an arrest at Don Pedro Reservoir at Fleming Meadows by sheriff's boat patrol deputy.

Cesar Antonio Jarquin Jr., 22, 200 block of San Felipe Avenue, South San Francisco, booked at 8:05 p.m. Saturday after an arrest at Don Pedro Reservoir at Fleming Meadows by sheriff's boat patrol deputy.

Jacob Andrew Godkin, 25, 1400 block of Stephen Drive, San Jose, booked at 8 p.m. Sunday after arrest on Jacksonville Road west of Algerine Road, Jamestown area.

Fred William Elmer, 52, 1600 block of Hood Road, Sacramento, booked at 8:15 p.m. Sunday after arrest at Don Pedro Reservoir at Fleming Meadows by a sheriff's boat patrol deputy.

Brian Scott Herman, 27, 2000 block of Hideaway Trail, Placerville, booked at 9:54 p.m. Sunday after arrest on the 16900 block of Oak Tree Lane, Sonora.

Gordon Graham Pattison, 38, 8000 block of Prior Way, Antelope, booked at 10:16 p.m. Sunday after arrest at Don Pedro Reservoir by a sheriff's boat patrol deputy.

Nicholas Melvin Agishian, 49, 2100 block of Mission Street, San Francisco, booked at 11:40 p.m. Sunday after arrest on Parrotts Ferry Road, Columbia.

Dale Cedric Frazier, 30, 12200 block of Yankee Hill Road, Columbia, booked at 10 a.m. Monday after arrest on Highway 108 west of Chicken Ranch Road, Jamestown.

Sonora police reports

MONDAY

3:38 a.m., disorderly conduct — A 19-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of public drunkeness on the 200 block of North Shepherd Street.

2:25 p.m., traffic accident — No one was injured in a traffic accident at Sonora Crossroads shopping center.

5:54 p.m., traffic accident — No one was injured in a traffic accident on South Stewart Street.

Fire

SATURDAY

6:30 a.m., Standard — A fire was reported in sawdust, wiring and hydraulic hose on the 14500 block of Tuolumne Road. Damage was estimated at $1,500 to machinery. A mechanical problem ignited the fire. Sierra Pacific Industries owns the property. Tuolumne County Fire Department, Sonora City Fire Department and California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection responded.

9:30 p.m., Moccasin — A 50-by-50-foot spot fire was reported at Moccasin Point Recreation Area. No damage was reported. Someone shooting off bottle rockets sparked the flames. Don Pedro Recreation Agency owns the land. California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection and Tuolumne County Fire Department responded.

SUNDAY

9:15 p.m., Jamestown — A two-acre spot fire was reported at Oak Hills Apartment on Preston Lane. Damage was estimated at $400. CDF, Jamestown Fire Protection District, Sonora City Fire Department and Tuolumne County Fire Department responded.

MONDAY

10 a.m., Don Pedro area — A trash bin fire was reported on Fleming Meadow Road at Bonds Flat Road. No damage was reported. Don Pedro Recreation Agency owns the land. The fire was caused by someone dumping hot coals in the bin. CDF and Tuolumne County Fire Department responded.

MONDAY

9:47 a.m., Burson — A neighbor dispute regarding chickens and a dog was reported on Happy Valley Road.

10:28 a.m., Arnold — A caller on the 100 block of Meadowview Court said her daughter's boyfriend vandalized the caller's vehicle.

10:45 a.m., Rail Road Flat — A caller said a man was acting strangely and had just knocked down a fence on the 6100 block of Rail Road Flat Road.

2 p.m., Arnold — Threats were made during an argument on the 1100 block of Manuel Road.

3:07 p.m., Valley Springs — A caller on the 8700 block of Montero Road said someone dumped oil on her property.

3:10 p.m., Valley Springs — A caller said a woman was hitting a child in a parked vehicle on the first block of Oak Leaf Lane.

5:53 p.m., Valley Springs — A neighbor dispute was reported on the 3000 block of Ross Drive.

6:03 p.m., Valley Springs — A caller said a man assaulted a woman inside a vehicle parked on the side of Highway 26.

6:12 p.m., Arnold — A caller reported trespassers at Meadowmont Golf Course on the 1600 block of Highway 4.

6:28 p.m., Valley Springs — A man and woman were arguing on the 6900 block of Stabulis Road.

7:36 p.m., Rail Road Flat — A caller said his aunt locked him out of a house on the 1300 block of Rayjun Lane.

8:02 p.m., Valley Springs — A father and son were involved in an altercation on the 6700 block of Westhill Road.

10:12 p.m., San Andreas — A caller on the 10200 block of Pool Station Road said neighbors were having a loud party with a live band.

10:15 p.m., Valley Springs — An intoxicated person was arrested at the intersection of Laurel and Daphne streets.

YESTERDAY

1:20 a.m., San Andreas — A deputy assisted with the removal of a tree limb across Mountain Ranch Road near the government center.

1:44 a.m., Arnold — A caller on the 3300 block of Fairway Drive reported a strong smell of smoke in the area.

3:58 a.m., Sheep Ranch — A caller on the 5600 block of Jasper Ridge Road said several annoying phone calls were received from an ex-neighbor.

Felony bookings

SATURDAY

1:20 p.m., Valley Springs — Michael Anthony Rector, 36, 1800 block of St. Petersburg Road, Valley Springs, booked on suspicion of committing battery with serious bodily injury. Rector was not in custody this morning. He either posted $25,000 bail or was released because of jail overcrowding, jail officials said.

1:50 p.m., Angels Camp — Anita Kay Berthiaume, 36, 10000 block of French Camp Road, Manteca, booked on suspicion of possessing drugs. Berthiaume was not in custody this morning. She either posted $15,000 bail or was released because of jail overcrowding, jail officials said.

SUNDAY

9:30 p.m., Copperopolis — Victor Cervanties Nunes, 20, 7400 block of Rock Road, Copperopolis, booked on suspicion of assault. As of this morning, Nunes remained in custody at the county jail in lieu of $40,000 bail.

MONDAY

12:37 a.m., Valley Springs — Ronald Joseph Ugale, 34, 7300 block of Baldwin Street, Valley Springs, booked on suspicion of transporting drugs for sale and driving with a suspended license. He remained in custody this morning in lieu of $63,000 bail.

12:50 a.m., Valley Springs — Mathew Andrew Calonica, 28, 1000 block of Valley View Court, Los Altos, booked on suspicion of possessing drugs for sale. Calonica was not in custody this morning. He either posted $60,000 bail or was released because of jail overcrowding, jail officials said.

9 p.m., Rail Road Flat — Alvaro Cazares, 30, 1300 block of Rayjun Lane, Rail Road Flat, booked on suspicion of possessing drugs and forging false checks, records or certificates. As of this morning, Cazares remained in custody in lieu of $110,000 bail.

10:15 p.m., Valley Springs — George Ray Johnston, 50, unknown address on Milton Road, Milton, booked on suspicion of possessing drugs and driving with a suspended license. He remained in custody this morning in lieu of $18,000 bail.

YESTERDAY

12:34 a.m., Glencoe — Douglas Hal Barker, 53, 2200 block of Independence Road, Glencoe, booked on suspicion of committing lewd acts with a child under the age of 14. Barker was arrested at his home after a report was made to the Calaveras County Sheriff's Department that he molested a 13-year-old girl about three weeks ago. As of this morning, Barker remained in custody at the county jail in lieu of $100,000 bail. An arraignment was scheduled for today.

Justin Ronald Eaves, 30, 5500 block of Messing Road, Valley Springs, booked at 9:50 p.m. Friday after arrest at the intersection of Hogan Dam Road and Vista Del Lago Drive in Valley Springs.

Timothy Ray Benge, 40, 700 block of Casey Street, Angels Camp, booked at 4:10 p.m. Saturday after arrest at a grocery store on Highway 49 in San Andreas.

Russell John Mackie, 34, 500 block of South Sixth Street, San Jose, booked at 7:40 p.m. Saturday after arrest on Highway 4 west of the Stanislaus County line.

Brett Charles Bullock, 42, 300 block of East Oak Street, Lodi, booked at 8 a.m. Monday after arrest at the intersection of Highway 4 and Blagen Road in Arnold. Bullock was also arrested on suspicion of driving with a suspended license.

Ronald Lynn Bassett Jr., 22, 5500 block of Freeman Circle, Rocklin, booked at 11:30 p.m. Monday after arrest at Laurel and Daphne streets in Valley Springs.

Fires

MONDAY

3 p.m., Copperopolis — A vehicle fire spread to a 10-by-20-spot of grass at Highway 4 and O'Byrnes Ferry Road. Damage was estimated at $15,000 to a 1995 Mercedes owned by Keith Blackley of Redwood City. CDF, Copperopolis Fire Protection District, and one spotter plane, two air tankers and one helicopter from Columbia Air Base responded.
