TUOLUMNE COUNTY
The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:
FRIDAY 9:59 a.m., Sonora — An apartment on the 20200 block of Sparrow Lane was burglarized sometime in the past 30 days. 1:18 p.m., Jamestown — A man said he heard something hit his car at Highway 108 and Bell Mooney Road and a few minutes later saw a small crack in his windshield. He suspects it may have been from a BB gun. 1:27 p.m., Crystal Falls — A man on the 21200 block of American River Drive said he believed his identity was stolen after receiving a federal tax bill in the mail. 2:23 p.m., Jamestown — A man on the 10700 block of Wigwam Road said he was threatened and heard that he was going to be stabbed. 4:27 p.m., Strawberry — A cabin on the 28200 block of Georges Drive was burglarized sometime in the past week. 5:28 p.m., Jamestown — A woman on the 10300 block of Preston Lane said her daughter has been taking money out of her checking account for the past month without permission. 7:29 p.m., Jameston — After a traffic stop on the 18300 block of Main Street, an officer said the driver had a suspended or revoked driver license, was operating a motor vehicle while in possession of methamphetamine, and had two confirmed warrants for his arrest. A passenger was suspected of being under the influence of a controlled substance and had a warrant for his arrest.
The Sonora Police Department reported the following:
FRIDAY 8:21 a.m., traffic accident — A sign was damaged and bent over in a hit and run accident in front of a business on Sanguinetti Road. 9:02 a.m., found property — An employee at Cassina High School on South Barretta Street found a stack of mail on the water fountain at the school that was addressed to post office boxes. 2:17 p.m., burglary — An apartment on Greenley Road was burglarized. Numerous items were taken, including a laptop and four cell phones. 11:25 p.m., public intoxication — A 24-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication after going to the Sonora Police Department to check for a warrant and admitting to taking two antidepressant pills with a can of beer.
CALAVERAS COUNTY
The Sheriff’s Office reported the following: FRIDAY 7:06 a.m., Mountain Ranch — A bank-owned home was possibly burglarized on Michel Road. 8:24 a.m., Campo Seco — A theft occurred on Campo Seco Road. 12:48 pm., West Point — A burglary occurred on Woodhouse Mine Road. 3:49 p.m., Wilseyville — Three homes were broken into on Blagen Boulevard.
