Sheriff's reports

MONDAY

9:49 a.m., Jamestown — A woman on the 20000 block of Jamestown Road said a tent was stolen.

10:22 a.m., Twain Harte — Two bicycles was reported stolen from Twain Harte Elementary School on the 18800 block of Manzanita Drive.

10:45 a.m., Sonora area — A chain saw was reported stolen from a house on the 20800 block of Keeley Drive.

10:47 a.m., Crystal Falls — A woman on American River Drive said she made a purchase over the Internet for $1,000 but never received the item.

12:28 p.m., Tuolumne area — A woman on the 15000 block of Tuolumne Road said a man threatened to "rip her face off."

1:20 p.m., Tuolumne — A man found a spoon and syringe, possibly drug paraphernalia, on the 17900 block of Apple Colony Road.

1:25 p.m., Groveland — A Forest Service dispatcher reported that a man said two cows grazing on Forest Service land off Cherry Oil Road had been shot. One was dead and one was dying.

2:41 p.m., East Sonora — A man said a house of the 20100 block of Peaceful Oak Road was broken into and ransacked.

3:58 p.m., East Sonora — A woman on the 20100 block of Peaceful Oak Road said a walnut tree had been hit by a vehicle and knocked over.

6:22 p.m., Willow Springs — A caller said seven or eight teens were on the roof of Willow Springs Clubhouse on Willow Spring Drive.

6:25 p.m., Twain Harte — A caller on a cell phone said kids were throwing rocks onto passing cars from a railroad trestle off Highway 108 on Twain Harte Drive.

6:38 p.m., Groveland — A woman said her husband and a friend were down in a canyon near Scotts Ridge and were dehydrated and needed help getting out.

7:18 p.m., Cedar Ridge area — A man said while nailing a floor at a construction site on Phoenix Lake Road near Big Hill Road another carpenter hit him in the back of his head for no reason.

7:57 p.m., Twain Harte — A deputy cited a man for having an open container of liquor in a vehicle parked at Eproson Park.

9:50 p.m., Jamestown — Elizabeth Jean Myers, 19, 17800 block of Seventh Street, Jamestown, booked on a warrant charging her with possessing a controlled substance for sale, maintaining a dwelling for manufacturing a controlled substance and failure to appear in court after an arrest on Main Street at Highway 108. She remained in Tuolumne County Jail this morning in lieu of $20,000 bail.

11:12 p.m., Sonora — Christopher Luke Jones, 26, 22700 block of Quail Mine Road, Columbia, booked on suspicion of possessing a deadly weapon, a switchblade, and a felony parole hold and being an unlicensed driver, a misdemeanor, after a traffic stop on Cedar Road at Cabezut Road. He remained held without bail this morning.

Ernie Albert Wardwell, 48, 22000 block of Elizabeth Lane, Sonora, booked at 1:20 p.m. Monday after an arrest on Highway 108 at the Hess Avenue off ramp.

Sonora police reports

MONDAY

9:24 a.m., public nuisance — A caller said several minors were in front of a business on the 100 block of South Washington Street "smoking and cussing."

12:56 p.m., traffic accident — A vehicle parked on South Stewart Street was hit by another vehicle but the driver did not stop.

2:06 p.m., trespassing — A caller said a woman with red hair and a man with a pony tail were loitering on the back patio of a business on the 100 block of South Washington Street. They had been asked to leave previously.

7:06 p.m., lost property — A woman lost a bracelet, possibly in the Sonora Plaza.

10:35 p.m., indecent exposure — A woman on the 400 block of Greenley Road said a neighbor exposed himself.

CALAVERAS COUNTY

MONDAY

12:19 p.m., San Andreas — A domestic dispute was reported on the 100 block of Miller Court.

1:51 p.m., Angels Camp — A caller said a resident of Rainbow Road screamed at the caller after the caller drove down the road.

2:51 p.m., Burson — A domestic dispute was reported on the 12000 block of Stedman Ranch Road.

6:04 p.m., Valley Springs — An ongoing problem with a neighbor's barking dog was reported at Castle Rock Mobile Home Park.

10:01 p.m., Vallecito — A caller on the 3400 block of Highway 4 said a mountain lion took the caller's goose. The call was referred to the Department of Fish and Game.

11:22 p.m., San Andreas — A caller said about eight juveniles were playing music and being loud on the 1900 block of Gold Strike Road.

YESTERDAY

1:30 a.m., Valley Springs — A caller near the intersection of Highway 26 and Dunn Road said someone was playing music very loud.

1:49 a.m., Carson Hill — A caller said a large pile of something was burning at a house near the intersection of Red Hill Road and Highway 49. California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection personnel assisted the property owner in putting out the illegal burn pile.

SUNDAY

12:20 p.m., unknown location — Robert Earl Webb, 29, of Lodi, booked on suspicion of possessing drugs and a firearm in addition to receiving stolen property and presenting false identification to an officer. Webb remained in Calaveras County Jail this morning in lieu of $70,000 bail.

MONDAY

12:22 p.m., unknown location — Ruby Fawn Jeff, 23, 1000 block of John Eaph Trail, West Point, booked on suspicion of committing willful cruelty to a child and probation violation. Jeff remained in custody this morning in lieu of $50,001 bail.

10:45 p.m., unknown location — Crayton Granger, 43, 16000 block of Armstrong Road, Sheep Ranch, booked on suspicion of battery with serious bodily injury and a misdemeanor charge of driving with a suspended license. As of this morning, Granger remained in custody in lieu of $20,000 bail.

Judy Lynn Pitts, 33, unknown address on Stanley Road, West Point, booked at 11:30 p.m. Monday after an arrest an unknown location.
