SUNDAY

1:25 a.m., Mi-Wuk Village — A caller said two men were at a restaurant on the 24500 block of Highway 108 causing a disturbance. The men left on foot.

1:50 a.m., Twain Harte — A caller said people were jumping in and out of a white limousine parked on the side of Highway 108.

2:53 a.m., Twain Harte — A caller said a man was trying to climb into a window at a house on Golf Club Drive near Fuller Road. The man was stacking bricks up near the window to stand on.

10:07 a.m., Mono Village — A caller on Sunny Circle found a bloody rag tied to the mailbox.

11:46 a.m., Crystal Falls — A house on the 22000 block of Feather River Drive was broken into.

12:37 p.m., Jamestown — A caller said a man on Seco Street at Preston Lane was slapping his son. The two went into a house, and the caller could still hear the man yelling at the boy.

2:14 p.m., Sonora area — A 1978 Toyota pickup truck was stolen from a house on Shaws Flat Road sometime between Saturday night and Sunday afternoon.

3:30 p.m., Tuolumne — Two people said they found a young girl in the middle of Yosemite Road all alone.

3:56 p.m., Strawberry — A man said a house on the 28000 block of Herring Creek Lane was broken into and a stereo was stolen.

5:18 p.m., Sonora Meadows — A man on the 21000 block of Green Oaks Court said a boy sprayed water through a window, damaging a computer.

5:38 p.m., Jamestown — A woman on the 18000 block of Sixth Avenue said a BB was shot through a front window sometime in the last week.

5:43 p.m., Jamestown — A Kwik Serve clerk said a man who appeared to be about 45 years old stole beer from the store on the 18100 block of Highway 108.

8:27 p.m., Chinese Camp — A woman said a man pushed her and threatened to "bash in her head" while the two were on Highway 120 near Enterprise Drive.

Felony bookings

SATURDAY

11:39 p.m., Sonora area — Thomas Boring, 26, 14300 block of Redwood Way, Sonora, booked on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, driving while in possession of marijuana and possessing drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop and arrest on Shaws Flat Road at Highway 49.

He was released Saturday after posting $10,000 bail.

11:40 p.m., Sonora area — Kurtis Mitchell Hubbard, 25, 10600 block of Highway 49, Sonora, booked on suspicion of possessing and transporting a controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and an hypodermic needle after an arrest on Shaws Flat Road at Highway 49.

A deputy helping another deputy with a traffic stop and arrest saw Hubbard riding a bicycle without a light and in the middle of the road. The deputy searched Hubbard and found .40 gram of methamphetamine in his pocket, the report said. Hubbard remained held this morning in lieu of $10,000 bail.

SUNDAY

6:45 a.m., Jamestown — Tammy Hedge-Sadur, 43, 1900 block of Sage Street, Modesto, booked on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance for use and sale and misdemeanor driving under the influence after a traffic stop and arrest on Highway 108 at Main Street, Jamestown. She remained held this morning in lieu of $20,000 bail.

11:58 a.m., Columbia — Jerome Lydon Zylstra, 33, no address given, booked on a warrant charging him with possessing a controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop and arrest on Italian Bar Road. He remained held this morning in lieu of $10,000 bail.

2:02 p.m., Sonora — Doris Marie Brant-Ward, 50, 800 block of Taylor Street, Alameda, booked on a warrant charging her with passing worthless checks after she was brought to the jail from the Alameda County Jail. She remained held this morning in lieu of $10,000 bail.

Scott Randall Tift, 43, 10100 block of Buckeye Court, Jamestown, booked at 4:30 p.m. Saturday after arrest on Lime Kiln Road south of Campo Seco Road, Sonora.

Cory J. Martini, 21, 1500 block of North Cherry Street, Chico, booked at 10:15 p.m. Saturday after arrest on Longeway Road at Crystal Falls Road, Crystal Falls.

Leigh Anne Kerr, 50, 14700 block of Northridge Road, Sonora, booked at 11:40 p.m. Saturday after arrest on Middle Camp Road east of Highlander Drive, Twain Harte area.

Justin Ray Brewer, 24, 22400 block of South Airport Road, Columbia, booked at 1 a.m. Sunday after arrest on Tuolumne Road at Hess Avenue, Standard area.

Terrance Lee Tomsha, 50, 18100 block of Eighth Avenue, Jamestown, booked at 2 a.m. Sunday after arrest on Eighth Avenue at Eighth Street, Jamestown.

Sherri Lynn Quinn, 42, 10700 block of Wigwam Road, Jamestown, booked at 6:36 p.m. Sunday after arrest on Main Street, Jamestown.

Scott DeWayne Price, 44, 22200 block of Parrotts Ferry Road, Columbia, booked at 10:35 p.m. Sunday after arrest at her home.

Sonora police reports

SUNDAY

7:28 a.m., traffic accident — A man hit a building and several cars parked in Sonora Plaza shopping center.

9:07 a.m., traffic violation — A 23-year-old man was cited and released for driving on a suspended license after a traffic stop and arrest on Highway 49.

4:23 p.m., theft — A caller said a stereo was stolen from a vehicle parked in Sonora Crossroads shopping center.

Fires

YESTERDAY

5 p.m., Sonora — Smoke was reported in a restroom at Round Table Pizza on the 100 block of Stockton Road. It was caused by a faulty exhaust fan, which burned. Damage was estimated at $300. Responding were Sonora Fire Department and California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection.

6:33 a.m., Valley Springs — An open door was reported at a business on the first block of Main Street.

7:55 a.m., Murphys — A caller on the 4400 block of Pennsylvania Gulch Road reported a suspicious vehicle near a construction site.

9:16 a.m., Valley Springs — A caller said a fawn was stuck in a fence on the first block of Buena Vista Court.

10:34 a.m., Angels Camp — A house was burglarized on the 3300 block of Highway 49.

12:04 p.m., Valley Springs — A mother and daughter dispute was reported on the 200 block of Cedar Street.

2:13 p.m., Burson — Horse tack was stolen from a barn on the 7000 block of Warren Road.

4:32 p.m., Valley Springs — Neighbors were involved in a physical altercation on the 2400 block of East Highway 12.

6:04 p.m., Murphys — A domestic dispute was reported on the 600 block of Murphys Grade Road.

7:29 p.m., Valley Springs — An argument was reported on the 8400 block of Baldwin Street.

7:59 p.m., West Point — A caller on the 7900 block of Schaad Road said his neighbors were having a party like they had the night before.
