The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:
THURSDAY 12:49 a.m., Jamestown — Someone reported putting out a grass fire along Highway 108 at Harvard Mine Road after seeing a man walk away from the area. 8:49 a.m., Groveland — Someone reported hearing an explosion near the 17900 block of Harper Road. The same person also heard a loud blast in the area six months prior and found a mine with “fresh blasting marks” on neighboring property. 9:05 a.m., Sonora — A woman on the 20000 block of Cedar Road North reported receiving phone threats. The Arkansas caller threatened to “bash” her face if he lived in the area. 4:32 p.m., Columbia — A newspaper box was vandalized on the 22200 block of Parrotts Ferry Road. 9:20 p.m., Twain Harte — A man on the 22800 block of Gold Club Drive reported that a drunk and injured person with “blood on his hands” was lying on his porch.

THURSDAY 12:45 p.m., Sonora — Hubbard Lee Wilson Jr., 39, of as unknown address, was arrested on Mono Way.
The Sonora Police Department reported the following:
THURSDAY 10:27 a.m., controlled substances — Someone reported seeing several people smoke from a drug pipe at a park on South Washington Street. 7:46 p.m., theft — A woman on East Lyons Street reported that pumpkins were stolen from her front yard. 9:05 p.m., driving under the influence — Someone reported a driver was “all over the road” and possibly drunk on Yaney Avenue.
CALAVERAS COUNTY The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:
THURSDAY
7:52 p.m., Campo Seco — Vandalism was reported on Chili Camp Road. 11:06 p.m., Valley Springs — Someone reported hearing shots fired near Acorn Campground in Valley Springs.

THURSDAY 8:46 a.m., San Andreas — Jose Arturo Cano, 34, of the 1800 block of West Avenue, Santa Rosa, was booked on suspicion of drug possession, after an arrest at Pool Station Road and Highway 49. |
