Sheriff's reports

TUESDAY

7:53 a.m., Gibbs Ranch — A man said his vehicle parked on the 20100 block of Leland Drive was broken into and CDs, a CD player and gasoline were stolen.

7:55 a.m., Tuolumne — A man found sleeping inside his car parked at Tuolumne Shopping Center on the 18300 block of Tuolumne Road was arrested on suspicion of public drunkenness.

8:54 a.m., Twain Harte — A woman said her house on the 22000 block of South Fork Road was broken into and a purse stolen.

9:17 a.m., Groveland area — A woman said a backpack was stolen off a picnic table at Pine Mountain Lake Campground on the 13500 block of Rocky Point Drive.

10:32 a.m., Groveland — A man said two airplanes on the 21100 block of Jimmersall Lane were vandalized. An airplane door was pried open and another airplane was broken into and damage done to an engine door.

11:04 a.m., Groveland — Three students were caught smoking cigarettes at Tioga High School.

12:26 p.m., Groveland — A woman said frozen food was stolen from a freezer in the kitchen at Yosemite Pine RV Park on the 20400 block of Old Highway 120.

12:35 p.m., Twain Harte area — A caller said a box of tools, other automotive tools and a chain saw were stolen from a house on the 29000 block of Italian Bar Road.

1:26 p.m., East Sonora — A McClouds Pet Emporium clerk said a woman with red curly hair stole a dog leash from the store, in The Junction shopping center.

1:43 p.m., Mi-Wuk Village — A woman said a house under construction near the old Mi-Wuk golf course was vandalized.

2:14 p.m., Don Pedro area — A man said two young men were posing as cops and driving a car with a law enforcement flashing light on the dash board. The young men were pulling people over.

3 p.m., Lyons Lake area — A woman said she found blankets, shoes, a book and paperwork scattered on Lyons Dam Road about a half mile from Highway 108.

3:36 p.m., Don Pedro — A man said a rented houseboat rammed the caller's boat while the two boats were in the Tuolumne River arm of the reservoir.

4 p.m., Twain Harte — Three people called dispatchers to say men in a beige pickup truck went after employees at a gasoline station on Twain Harte Drive with an ax. The men were then joined by other men who were starting a fight.

4:04 p.m., Standard area — A caller said a woman left three small children in a car parked in front of the PG&E office, on the 14500 block of Tuolumne Road.

4:29 p.m., Jamestown — A man was arrested on suspicion of public drunkenness after a caller said the he was staggering in the road near the 18300 block of Main Street.

4:45 p.m., Racetrack Road area — A man on the 20100 block of Jamestown Road said his shed was broken into sometime in the last 10 days. A mini-bike, a chain saw and an aluminum ladder were stolen.

5:18 p.m., Twain Harte — A Twain Harte CDF employee said a teenage boy was with him who may have been assaulted at an undisclosed location.

6:05 p.m., Jamestown area — A caller said a man was standing naked in the glass door of a house on Jacksonville Road near Quartz Street.

7:04 p.m., Sonora Meadows — A man said two boys ran away from Sullivan Creek School on the 16300 block of Hidden Valley Road and left a BB gun they were shooting.

10:15 p.m., Jamestown — Two men were cited on suspicion of driving with a bag of marijuana and a smoking pipe in the car when it was stopped on Fifth Avenue at Seventh Street.

10:23 p.m., Don Pedro area — A caller said a woman and five men were on the roof of Don Pedro Market on the 3300 block of Highway 132.

YESTERDAY

1:51 a.m., Twain Harte — A man said his dog was stuck under some stairs at a neighbor's house on the 23000 block of Oakview Drive. A fire crew was on its way to help.

5:29 a.m., Jamestown area — A woman said a skunk had gotten stuck in the engine compartment of her car parked on the 9800 block of Pulpit Rock Road and had sprayed.

Felony bookings

TUESDAY

10:46 a.m., Jamestown — Donald Lee Moore, 39, 10100 block of Peppermint Circle, Jamestown, booked on a warrant charging him with forgery, receiving stolen property, grand theft and a misdemeanor charge of theft after an arrest at his home. He remained held this morning in lieu of $8,000 bail.

3:09 p.m., Sonora — Shane Taylor Steele, 20, 100 block of Greenley Road, Sonora, booked on a Stanislaus County warrant charging him with receiving a stolen vehicle and evading a police officer after a traffic stop and arrest on South Washington Street at Bradford Avenue. He was picked up by Oakdale Police Department yesterday.

4:08 p.m., Sonora — Anthony Brisco Jr., 43, 1400 block of Shaws Flat Road, Sonora, booked on suspicion of making criminal threats and misdemeanor battery after an arrest at his home.

According to a Sonora police report, Brisco pushed a woman at his house and then threatened her. He remained held this morning in lieu of $25,000 bail.

5 p.m., Sonora — Robert Alan Humphreys, 18, 800 block of Central Avenue, Livermore, booked on a warrant charging him with vehicle theft, hit and run driving and being an unlicensed driver, a misdemeanor. He was brought to the county jail from the Alameda County Jail and remained held this morning in lieu of $10,000 bail.

Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol:

Russell Joseph Ramirez, 46, 10600 block of Seventh Street, Jamestown booked at 8:55 p.m. Tuesday after arrest on Seventh Street east of Ninth Avenue, Jamestown.

Sonora police reports

TUESDAY

12:11 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A caller said a woman with blonde hair reached back and hit a small child on the head then left Sonora Crossroads shopping center in a blue Dodge car.

1:26 p.m., unclassified — A woman on the 10 block of East Jackson Street said garbage was being dumped onto her property.

5:38 p.m., burglary — A house on the 700 block of Golden Gate Court was burglarized.

12:03 p.m., West Point — Possible squatters were reported on the 2000 block of Enterprise Lane.

1:25 p.m., San Andreas — A woman stole and forged checks to post her mother's bail at the Calaveras County Jail.

1:33 p.m., Valley Springs — A pocket bike was stolen during a move on the 7500 block of Baldwin Street.

2:50 p.m., Wilseyville — A house at the end of Mitchell Mill Road was burglarized.

4:21 p.m., Copperopolis — A ring was stolen from the 4800 block of Little John Road.

5:08 p.m., Copperopolis — A caller on the 2800 block of Little John Road said his or her brother-in-law had been drinking and was out of control. The brother-in-law wasn't drinking, it turned out, but the caller was.

6:58 p.m., West Point — A heated landlord-tenant dispute was reported on the 700 block of Deer Lane.

7:16 p.m., Burson — A small fire was reported on the 200 block of Ridgeview Court.

7:34 p.m., Jenny Lind — A person walked into the Jenny Lind Fire Department and said a woman in dark pants and a white shirt was sitting in the roadway crying.

7:57 p.m., Copperopolis — A caller on the 4900 block of Yuma Court said his ex-girlfriend severely damaged his house.

8:24 p.m., Burson — A caller on the 3500 block of Davis Drive said some people in a blue Toyota drove by and yelled obscenities.

8:32 p.m., San Andreas — A case of possible domestic violence was reported at Mark Twain St. Joseph's Hospital.

8:55 p.m., Copperopolis — A caller on the 1100 block of Sawmill Road said a man kept calling her every two minutes.

10:25 p.m., West Point — A caller on the 3700 block of Bald Mountain Road said a neighbor was running a generator late at night.

YESTERDAY

1:01 a.m., San Andreas — A woman wearing a long-sleeved flannel shirt was trying to get into the agricultural building at the Calaveras County Government Center on the 800 block of Mountain Ranch Road.

1:03 a.m., San Andreas — Two males with a lighter were in a car at a parking lot.

3:16 a.m., Copperopolis — A man got out of a dark blue pickup truck and went around the side of a building on the 7200 block of O'Byrnes Ferry Road.

Lisa Marie Owens, 33, 400 block of Toyon Court, San Andreas, booked at 8:35 p.m. Wednesday after arrest on Highway 49 north of Mountain Ranch Road, San Andreas area.
