TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

FRIDAY

9:51 a.m., animal complaint — A business on the 1100 block of Sanguinetti Road reported that a customer was bit by a cat Thursday.

SATURDAY

12:35 a.m., disorderly conduct — A 21-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication on the 100 block of South Washington Street..

SUNDAY

2:16 a.m., pedestrian check — An officer checked on a group of pedestrians in front of a bar on the 100 block of South Washington Street. A cab was requested and the group dispersed.

1:42 p.m., disorderly conduct — Someone reported an argument between several transient men on the 600 block of Guzzi Lane. One was found and left the area. 

6:11 p.m., suspicious circumstances — An officer found people had accessed a rear structure and set up camps on West Stockton Street. 

MONDAY

6:20 a.m., suspicious circumstances — A woman heard a vehicle outside her home on Oakside Drive and looked outside. A man was parked in front of her mailbox and when he saw her looking, he took off, she said. He was a newspaper deliveryman. 

12:56 p.m., graffiti — Blue spray paint was found on the back of a business on the 1000 block of Mono Way. 

4:30 p.m., suspicious circumstances — Officers investigated someone climbing trees in Coffill Park on South Washington Street. The person was removing wire from the tree but agreed not to climb the trees anymore. 

7:15 p.m., assault — A customer in a store on the 1100 block of Sanguinetti Road was reportedly acting unruly and pushed packages of diapers off someone else’s shopping cart, causing them to hit the other customer’s child. The person was asked to leave by a store manager.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

FRIDAY

11:03 a.m., La Grange — A boat sunk at Lake Don Pedro. It was recovered and is being repaired.

11:27 a.m., Tuolumne — A residence on the 18900 block of Stag Circle was burglarized.

11:35 a.m., Sonora area — Someone kicked in the front door of a home on the 11800 block of Campo Seco Road.

12:22 p.m., Big Oak Flat — A purse was stolen from an unlocked vehicle on the 17400 block of Highway 120.

1:14 p.m., Sonora area — A juvenile vandalized a vehicle on the 14700 block of Mono Way. A deputy spoke to the juvenile’s parents about the incident.

2:21 p.m., Jamestown — A 19-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of carrying a switchblade knife at Rocca Park.

2:57 p.m., Sonora area — A 32-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of drugs at Campo Seco and Pradera Real roads.

3:20 p.m., Sonora area — Someone was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting on the 13700 block of Mono Way.

7:12 p.m., Sonora area — A package containing golf clubs was stolen from a porch on the 19000 block of Black Oak Road.

10:12 p.m., Columbia — An argument regarding a “humming” street light was reported on the 10900 block of Green Street.

SATURDAY

12:31 p.m., Groveland — A piece of wood that secured a shed on the 27900 block of Highway 120 was pried off. Nothing was taken.

1:07 p.m., Tuolumne — An ATM card was fraudulently used in Denver.

2:19 p.m., Tuolumne — A home on the 18400 block of Carter Street was vandalized.

7:43 p.m., La Grange — A dog was hit by a boat at Fleming Meadows Marina at Lake Don Pedro.

10:57 p.m., Mi-Wuk Village — A home on the 20900 block of Lama Road Tamalin was broken into. Nothing appeared to be missing. The homeowner did not want to make a report but requested extra patrol.

SUNDAY

8:43 a.m., Sonora area — A residence on the 17700 block of Campbell’s Flat Road was vandalized.

9:59 a.m., Sonora area — Someone who was asked by a property owner to watch a vacant residence on the 19400 block of Cameron Lane said it looked like a woman was trying to move in.

12:47 p.m., Sonora area — A woman said neighbors cut down her trees, stole the wood, left a mess and said they’d send her a bill at Spanish Grant and Valley Oak drives. Later, another relative said the neighbors warned them of fire hazards and cleared the area in concern of coming fire but did not take the wood. 

5:52 p.m., Sonora — A man in his 30s was reportedly walking naked in the road with another man in his 70s in his underwear on Rough and Ready Trail. A second caller said the naked man appears under the influence. 

7:02 p.m., Twain Harte area — A man said he was threatened by another man walking three small dogs, after one dog without a leash ran away when their paths crossed on the Sierra Railroad trail at Korey Court and Franco Lane. 

7:10 p.m., Tuolumne — Someone spray painted the yellow dividing line white on the 20200 block of Tuolumne Road North. 

7:19 p.m., Tuolumne — Someone reported a suspicious white substance 30 feet up the road from their home on the 20100 block of Tuolumne Road North.

7:30 p.m., Jamestown — A jacket with a checkbook in it was reported stolen from a business on the 16900 block of Chicken Ranch Road. 

7:32 p.m., Jamestown area — A bow hunter told someone people were stealing cable near New Peoria Flat Road and O’Byrnes Ferry Road. Responding officers cited someone for driving without proper registration. 

8:03 p.m., Tuolumne — One person was detained after a disturbance at Main Street and Willow Avenue. 

9:23 p.m., Tuolumne — Someone heard an engine revving, then a crash and a woman screaming “keep hitting me” and saw someone run away on the 18400 block of Pine Street. No one was located and the woman later called and said she didn’t want to report anything. 

10:21 p.m., Sonora area — A man reported his wife missing on the 20100 block of Jamestown Road. 

10:21 p.m., Sonora area — A man said three people threw rocks and acorns at him and his home on the 16600 block of Madrone Circle. It was documented as a juvenile problem.

11:23 p.m., Sonora area — Someone reported being attacked with a baseball bat by his or her parents on the 19500 block of Serrano Road, then hung up. Later it was determined the caller’s father made a threat to hit him or her with a baseball bat.

11:23 p.m., Jamestown — Someone reported a motorized scooter stolen on the 20100 block of Jamestown Road. 

11:28 p.m., Twain Harte — A woman was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct and violation of probation after a disturbance on the 18600 block of Mother Lode Drive. 

MONDAY 

2:15 a.m., Jamestown area — Someone said a woman screamed “Stop it,” and a man screamed back at her on the 10100 block of Peppermint Circle. 

3:34 a.m., Tuolumne — A woman showed up crying uncontrollably at a house on the 18200 block of Mount Eaton Road after a disturbance with her boyfriend.

9:55 a.m., Sonora area — A man reported harassment from his neighbor on the 16600 block of Madrone Circle. Upon call back, the man answered the phone cursing at the dispatcher, so he or she hung up. 

12:40 p.m., Jamestown — A man with grayish white hair, a beard, baseball cap and cut-off blue Wranglers was reportedly looking into windows and harassing customers on the 18200 block of Main Street. 

1:08 p.m., Sonora area — A shotgun was reported missing on the 9500 block of Highway 49. 

3:20 p.m., Columbia area — A woman reported that a man choked her, jumped on her, threw her against a refrigerator and pulled her hair two nights ago on the 11200 block of Highway 49. When she tried to call 911, he unplugged the phone, she said. 

3:21 p.m., Columbia area — A man called to say he would be shooting off his cannon on the 23100 block of Columbia Vista Drive.

4:11 p.m., Sonora area — Someone said several things went missing when a caretaker was watching the home and had a few friends over on the 21700 block of Wasatch Mountain Road. 

6:09 p.m., Don Pedro area — A woman said her vehicle window was broken and an iPod and purse were taken on the 11500 block of Bonds Flat Road. 

7:38 p.m., Long Barn area — Someone took an ax to a bulletin board at Lyons Dam Road and Lyons Reservoir Road.

8:50 p.m., Sonora area — A woman said her boyfriend threw her into a bush on the 18600 block of Eagle Ridge Drive. 

10:01 p.m., Jamestown — A man reported threats from his daughter’s boyfriend on the 10700 block of Wigwam Road. 

10:44 p.m., Soulsbyville — A man was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public after someone called him in for knocking on his or her door on the 20600 block of Willow Springs Drive. 

Felony bookings

FRIDAY

10:55 a.m., Jamestown — Nathan Ryan McNulty, 42, a transient, was booked on suspicion of carrying a concealed dirk or dagger after an arrest at Rocca Park. He was also booked on a misdemeanor charge of possession of marijuana.

10:13 p.m., Sonora area — Eddie Magana Vargas, 46, a transient, was booked on suspicion of burglary after an arrest on Stockton Road. He was also booked on misdemeanor charges of possession of burglary tools and possession of stolen property.

MONDAY

1:41 a.m., Sierra Village — Dena Marie Marshall, 47, a transient, was booked on suspicion of threatening with the intent to terrorize and misdemeanor exhibiting a deadly weapon other than a firearm after an arrest on the 24900 block of Highway 108.
