CALAVERAS COUNTY

 The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

MONDAY
    8:50 a.m., Valley Springs — Two people were fighting in the parking lot of a store on Vista Del Lago Drive.
    10:47 a.m., West Point — Items were stolen from a residence on Highway 26.
 11:31 a.m., Wilseyville — Two gun shots were heard near Blue Mountain Road.
    3:39 p.m., West Point — Trespassing was reported on Acorn Way.
   
Felony bookings

MONDAY
 12:35 p.m., West Point — Stephen Richard Gommeringer, 57, of the 5000 block of June Avenue, Wilseyville, was booked on suspicion of drug possession, after an arrest on Higdon Spink Road.
    12:45 p.m., West Point — Brett Earl Gray, 44, of the 15000 block of Lucky Mine Lane, Pioneer, was booked on suspicion driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and evading police with a disregard to public safety, after an arrest on Higdon Spink Road.

Fire calls

SUNDAY
    7:22 p.m., Valley Springs — Cal Fire units from Valley Springs responded to a spot fire on the 2700 block of Stage Coach Drive. The fire was caused by someone playing with a lighter and was extinguished by 7:48 p.m. There were no injuries or damage to any structures or property reported.


TUOLUMNE COUNTY

    The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

MONDAY
    6:18 a.m., Jamestown — A woman reported that a man had tried to steal something out of pickup truck parked near the 18300 block of Main Street. After she said something to him, the man put the item back and left.
    7:24 a.m., Crystal Falls — A woman on the 16000 block of Columbia River Drive reported she had a dream about the possible abduction of a 3-year-old boy. The woman said she often had dreams that came true, and said she had seen the boy in a dream standing on a wooden milk crate.
    11:04 a.m., Twain Harte — A woman on the 22000 of Middle Camp Road reported she had been scammed out of $4,342.
    12:42 p.m., East Sonora — A lawnmower was stolen from a store on the 14000 block of Mono Way.
 3:46 p.m.., Twain Harte — Wood was stolen from a residence on the 18000 block of Tatu Avenue.
 7:45 p.m., Sonora area — A woman wearing a blue shirt, white pants and green shirt wrapped around her head was reportedly intoxicated and staggering around a store near the intersection of Longeway Road and Niagara River Drive.
 7:55 p.m., Jamestown — A well was vandalized at a residence on the 13000 block of Shotgun Creek Drive.
 8:56 p.m., Sonora area — A residence was burglarized on the 20000 block of Sunny Ridge Lane.
    11:46 p.m., Tuolumne — Drug paraphernalia was found on the gaming floor of Black Oak Casino.

MONDAY
    1:31 a.m., Soulsbyville — Efrain Tejada Torres, 45, of the 3100 block of Cohoo Drive, Modesto, was booked on suspicion of transporting or selling drugs and drug possession, after an arrest near the intersection of Soulsbyville and Tuolumne roads.

 The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

MONDAY
    1:33 p.m., controlled substances — A man reported he found unidentified drugs outside on a table of a residence on East Lyons Street. Officers confiscated the drugs.
    2:52 p.m., theft — A woman was caught shoplifting from a pharmacy on Mono Way.
    10:21 p.m., public intoxication — A man was arrested for being drunk in public at Coffill Park on South Washington Street.
