TUOLUMNE COUNTY

    The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

 WEDNESDAY
  11:26 a.m., Twain Harte – A man reported his vacation cabin on Golf Club Drive was broken into recently and some items were missing.
    12:02 p.m., Mi-Wuk Village – A person reported their storage unit on Sugar Pine Road was broken into and some items, including a generator, were missing.
    1:57 p.m., Sonora area – Two horses with blinders on were galloping down Avenida Bonita heading toward Campbells Flat Road.
    2:53 p.m, Jamestown – A man reported his truck was broken into and thieves stole an MP3 player, FM transmitter and prescription medication.
    3:30 p.m., Tuolumne – A woman reported someone came onto her rental property on Tuolumne Road and cut down six oak trees for no apparent reason before leaving.
    5:30 p.m., Sonora area – A man near East Brookside Drive and Kewin Mill Road reported he heard two people arguing and then a single gunshot from the direction of East Brookside Drive.

Arrests

  Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs:

WEDNESDAY
    11:13 p.m., Tuolumne area – Jan Ellen Yancey, 60, of the 17000 block of Our Lane, Sonora, was arrested on Blue Bell Road south of Tuolumne Road.

 The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

 WEDNESDAY
    1:03 p.m., suspicious circumstances – A person reported that they were locked inside a business on South Washington Street after the owner left for a lunch break.
    3:07 p.m., vandalism – A witness reported a young man kicked the side mirror off a parked car on North Washington Street.


CALAVERAS COUNTY

    The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

 WEDNESDAY
 11:56 a.m., Vallecito – There was a reported assault with a deadly weapon on Juniper Drive.

THURSDAY
  6:40 a.m., Wallace – Gunshots were reported near Willet Court.
    7:49 a.m., Burson – Gunshots were reported near Chardonblanc.

 Felony bookings

 WEDNESDAY
    12:35 p.m., San Andreas – Matthew Philip Massaglia, 26, of the 3000 block of Antonovich Road, Valley Springs, was booked on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon that is not a firearm, after an arrest near the intersection of Goldstrike Road and Leonard Road.
