TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

THURSDAY

9:39 a.m., Mi-Wuk Village — A woman said her home on the 24200 block of Sierra Park Road was burglarized and some jewelry was missing. The back door was left unlocked the previous night. She and her husband heard footsteps on the deck the night before but didn’t call law enforcement.

12:52 p.m., Jamestown — A man found an arrow sticking out of the roof of his house on the 19000 block of Outlook Drive. 

3:23 p.m., Sonora area — A woman on the 17000 block of Ponytail Court said someone made check’s that had the routing and account numbers to her bank account on the bottom and used them.

11:36 p.m., Sonora area — A woman chased off a man who attempted to break into her home on the 20900 block of Longeway Road through her kitchen window and her son’s bedroom window. The man was described between 20 and 30 years old, medium build, with short hair and wearing all black clothing. He was last seen jumping the woman’s 4-foot high fence and running towards the Crystal Falls Mini Mart. A possible vehicle associated with the incident was a S-10 Chevy Blazer.

Felony bookings

THURSDAY

11:15 a.m., Sonora area — Christopher Ruben Chavez, 22, and Sabrina Paige Solis, 19, both of the 22800 block of Valley Quail Road, were booked on suspicion of child endangerment, after an arrest at their home. Chavez was additionally booked on suspicion of possessing, manufacturing or selling a dangerous weapon.

5:09 p.m., Mono Vista — Teri Alicia Silva, 35, of the 2100 block of Fair Oaks Boulevard, Sacramento, was booked on suspicion of carrying a concealed dirk or dagger, after an arrest on the 20800 block of Mechanical Drive.

5:35 p.m., Sonora — Ashlan Michael Hall, 22, unknown address, was booked on suspicion of petty theft with a prior conviction and a misdemeanor charge of shoplifting, after an arrest at a business on the 1100 block of Sanguinetti Road.

6:02 p.m., Mono Vista — John David Sifuentes, 43, of the 20800 block of Mechanical Drive, was booked on suspicion of possessing stolen property, after an arrest at his home.

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

THURSDAY

8:22 a.m., controlled substances — Information was received regarding a Sonora High School student who would be selling Rice Crispy treats laced with marijuana at the school outside the boys’ locker room where there are no cameras. An officer spoke with the assistant principal who was already aware of the tip. The suspect was contacted and no illegal contraband was found.

8:50 p.m., theft — A 51-year-old woman was cited and released on suspicion of shoplifting from a store on Sanguinetti Road.

CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

THURSDAY

6:57 p.m., Murphys — Someone saw several males trying to steal scrap metal on Murphys Creek Road.

11:05 p.m., San Andreas —Gunshots were heard around Neilsen Street.
