THURSDAY

8:21 a.m., Twain Harte — A woman said three hubcaps were stolen from a vehicle parked on the 18800 block of Manzanita Drive.

1:31 p.m., Groveland — A Tioga High School administrator said a student left campus after a confrontation with a school official.

3:55 p.m., Soulsbyville — A woman on the 20600 block of Soulsbyville Road said she saw a boy who appeared to be about 12 or 13 years old driving a blue van with Montana license plates with a girl who appeared to be about 6 years old as a passenger.

4:11 p.m., Belleview Oaks — A caller said he was taking care of a friend's house on the 21000 block of Fortuna Mine Road when a neighbor shot and killed a dog, then made threats toward the caller.

6:06 p.m., Don Pedro —A caller on the 5200 block of Llanura Drive said a woman was in the driveway and refused to leave.

7:48 p.m., Twain Harte — A man said keys and a cell phone were stolen from an unlocked vehicle on the 21800 block of Confidence Road.

8:01 p.m., Jamestown — A man said seven teens approached him on Main Street at Lemon Drop Lane and demanded $40 from the man because the boys said his dog bit one of them. The man refused to give the boys money and said his dog didn't bite anyone.

9:09 p.m., Twain Harte — A caller said drivers of three vehicles were stopped on the side of Twain Harte Drive at Marquis Drive involved in fight after a "road rage" incident.

9:12 p.m., Standard area — A caller said a man was kneeling down on the side of Tuolumne Road near Standard Road with what looked a gun laying across his lap.

9:58 p.m., Twain Harte — A 23-year-old man was arrested on misdemeanor warrants after a traffic stop on Tuolumne Road North.

11:53 p.m., Twain Harte — A 51-year-old man was arrested on misdemeanor warrants after a traffic stop on Manzanita Drive.

FRIDAY

12:06 a.m., Standard area — A woman on the 19500 block of Cordelia Avenue said someone set a woodpile on fire.

4:49 a.m., Twain Harte — A man on the 17000 block of Good Shepherd Drive said he went outside and found a man going through the glovebox of a car parked there. The man ran away toward South Fork Road.

8:05 a.m., Sonora area — A woman said both her vehicles were gone through sometime the night before on the 20500 block of Walnut Drive.

8:15 a.m., East Sonora — A man on the 14600 block of Stone Lane said items were stolen from his vehicle the night before.

9:46 a.m., East Sonora — A man said a garbage can was stolen from a business on the 14700 block of Mono Way.

9:56 a.m., Jamestown — A woman said she is having problems with a neighbor on the 10500 block of Wigwam Road.

10:11 a.m., Columbia area — A woman on the 21700 block of Parrotts Ferry Road said someone was trying to get her to send them money through a sweepstakes scam.

10:58 a.m., Jamestown — A woman said her neighbor on Ninth Avenue threatened her.

11:39 a.m., Jamestown — A woman said she was still having problems with a neighbor on the 10500 block of Wigwam Road.

12:41 p.m., East Sonora — A man on the 15200 block of Cavalieri Road said four bottles of prescription medication were stolen from him.

12:56 p.m., East Sonora — A man on the 18300 block of Wards Ferry Road said prescription medication was stolen from him.

3:35 p.m., Sonora area — A woman said someone vandalized a vehicle on the 20200 block of Sparrow Lane.

5:21 p.m., Jamestown — A woman said her fence was damaged on the 18300 block of Ninth Avenue.

5:29 p.m., Jamestown — A woman on the 18100 block of Fifth Avenue said someone wrote all over the sidewalk the night before.

6:17 p.m., Sonora area — A man said another man broke his gate on the 18300 block of Lime Kiln Road.

6:21 p.m., Jamestown — A woman said a suspicious man was asking a 14-year-old girl for money at a business on the 18100 block of Highway 108.

11:15 p.m., Tuolumne — An employee of a business on the 19400 block of Tuolumne Road said a customer said he was fearing for his life because people were after him.

SATURDAY

12:29 a.m., Don Pedro — A man said someone pounded on his house and ran down the 1700 block of Zarzamora Street.

9:47 a.m., Tuolumne — A woman said her dad found a wallet on the 20000 block of Canyonview Drive.

10:03 a.m., Twain Harte — A woman said someone removed a gate from a construction site on the 21900 block of Freedom Way and threw it down the hill.

10:09 a.m., Sonora area — A man doing repair work said an evicted tenant told him to get off the property on the 18300 block of Lime Kiln Road and fired a gun into the air.

10:19 a.m., Twain Harte — A man said a clean-up crew found a bloody knife near the west entrance to Twain Harte from Highway 108.

11:39 a.m., East Sonora — A woman said a business on the 20000 block of Highway 108 may have been burglarized.

11:43 a.m., Sonora area — A woman said a for sale sign was damaged on the 20000 block of Gibbs Drive.

1:45 p.m., Pinecrest — A man said an ATM card was stolen from him while he was visiting Pinecrest Lake.

2:06 p.m., Strawberry — A caller said someone was shooting squirrels from a vehicle on Frazier Flat Road.

2:13 p.m., Tuolumne — A caller said tools and camping gear were stolen from a garage on the 18500 block of Gardner Avenue.

3:28 p.m., Columbia — A man said another man refused to leave his property on the 22400 block of Airport Road South.

4 p.m., Twain Harte — A Twain Harte Market employee said two children were in custody after shoplifting from the Tiffeni Drive store.

4:47 p.m., Twain Harte — A man on the 22400 block of Ridge Road said he got a letter saying he was the heir to an estate, but had to give personal information to get the inheritance.

5:11 p.m., Tuolumne — A woman said she found outgoing mail torn up on Cedar Street.

5:53 p.m., Big Oak Flat — A man said a trailer has been parked on the 11300 block of Wards Ferry Road for weeks without permission.

8:41 p.m., Sonora area — A woman said several people were fighting on Chukar Circle.

9:53 p.m., Strawberry — A woman said a group of people were shoving and kicking each other on the 31800 block of Highway 108.

11:21 p.m., Sonora area — A man said his apartment on the 12700 block of Chukar Circle had been broken into.

YESTERDAY

2:33 a.m., Sonora area — The Sonora Police Department said officers broke up a fight behind a business on the 100 block of South Washington Street, but several suspects got away in vehicles heading further into the county.

8:41 a.m., Twain Harte — A man said tools were stolen from his truck on the 23600 block of Middle Camp Road.

10:34 a.m., Tuolumne — A woman said a man was lying in a trail off Mira Monte Road, yelling at passers-by.

Felony bookings

THURSDAY

8:25 a.m., Willow Springs — Nathan Scott Chavez, 20, 20700 block of Caylor Drive, Soulsbyville, booked on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon after an arrest at his home.

According to a sheriff's report, Chavez was caught rummaging through his mother's nightstand drawer looking for a prescription medication to take before reporting to jail for a 24-hour commitment. The woman's boyfriend told Chavez to get out and then the two fought.

Chavez went outside and picked up a handsaw, which he swung at the man and cut his arm, the report said. Several deputies and a sergeant were called to the home. Chavez remained held this morning in lieu of $30,000 bail.

2:03 p.m., Sonora — Christopher Gene Cook, 29, 20700 block of Lyons Bald Mountain Road, Sonora, booked on a Solano County warrant charging him with felony battery.

Also booked was Marie Antoinette Oliver, 26, of the same address, on suspicion of forgery, passing worthless checks and criminal conspiracy.

Cook remained held without bail. Oliver remained held this morning in lieu of $10,000 bail.

3:48 p.m., Twain Harte — A 29-year-old Twain Harte man booked on suspicion of felony spousal battery after arrest at his home. He remained held this morning in lieu of $35,000 bail.

9:30 p.m., Tuolumne — Daniel Ernest Trujillo, 32, 200 block of Lyons Street, Sonora, booked on suspicion of manufacturing a controlled substance, possessing substances with the intent to manufacturing a controlled substances and misdemeanor possession of a hypodermic needle.

According to sheriff's Sgt. Jim Mele, a California Highway Patrol officer pulled Trujillo over for a traffic violation. Trujillo pulled into the Black Oak Casino parking lot , got out of the car and started to run. A casino security guard and the CHP officer were able to detain him.

According to the report, when the officer searched Trujillo's car, he found a backpack with glass beakers, hoses, gloves, a plastic bottle with a pink chalky substance, ephedrine and lantern fuel — all ingredients for making methamphetamine. Trujillo was arrested and remained held this morning in lieu of $200,000 bail.

FRIDAY

1:23 a.m., Jamestown — Anthony Celso Navarro, 41, 3500 block of Kentucky Avenue, Riverbank, booked on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia after an arrest on Highway 108 at Jamestown Road. He remained held this morning in lieu of $10,000 bail.

Noon, Sonora — A 49-year-old Tuolumne man booked on suspicion of felony battery and mayhem after an arrest at Sonora Regional Medical Center.

According to a sheriff's report, a 41-year-old woman and the man were arguing over a pair of pants while the two were in a car at Tuolumne Post Office. The woman was wearing the man's pants because hers were wet and the man was naked.

The man became angry and pulled the woman's hair, then bit off part of her nose, the report said. The two then drove to the hospital for treatment.

A emergency room employee called the sheriff's department to talk to the couple. The woman refused to explain how she got the injuries, but the man, who was waiting in the lobby told the deputy about the argument and admitted he bit the woman's nose.

The woman was given the opportunity to obtain a protective order to keep the man away from her, but she said she would not get one. When told he was going to be arrested, she became angry and tried to run out of the emergency room.

The man remained held this morning in lieu of $200,000 bail.

Richard Scott Roy, 45, 26100 block of Janice Way, Long Barn, booked at 2:30 a.m. Friday after arrest on Manzanita Drive at Joaquin Gully, Twain Harte.

1:14 a.m. suspicious circumstances — A caller said three people were on the roof of a store at Timberhills shopping center.

5:26 a.m., traffic violation — A 36-year-old man was cited and released after being stopped at Timberhills shopping center for driving on a suspended license.

3:34 p.m., vehicle theft — A car was stolen from a house on Fairview Lane. A "be-on-the-lookout" order was issued for the car.

5:51 p.m., public intoxication — A 47-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication on South Washington Street at Stockton Road.

6:05 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A woman on Shaws Flat Road said a suspicious-looking man was staring at her and her daughter making her nervous.

6:35 p.m., found property — An Orchard Supply Hardware employee found seven envelopes with money and receipts in them in the Sonora Plaza parking lot.

6:44 p.m., trespass — A Sonora Regional Medical Center employee said a homeless woman had been at the hospital since 9 a.m. and refused to leave.

9:44 p.m., theft — A caller said a purse was stolen from a locker at Sonora High School.

FRIDAY

9:31 a.m., suspicious circumstances — A caller said garbage was being rummaged through and spread around Summit Avenue.

2:01 p.m., harassment — A caller said a downstairs neighbor was making harassing comments on the 400 block of Greenley Road.

2:43 p.m., assault — A man said he was assaulted by another man while walking on South Washington Street.

4:27 p.m., traffic accident — A non-injury accident occurred on Mono Way near Greenley Road.

5:16 p.m., traffic accident — A non-injury accident occurred at the corner of South Washington Street and Stockton Road.

9:01 p.m., property damage — A window was broken on the 700 block of Mono Way.

SATURDAY

8:04 a.m., parking — A car was parked on the 100 block of Old Wards Ferry Road, blocking the road for larger vehicles.

9:55 a.m., suspicious circumstances — A woman on the first block of East Jackson Street said the person who borrowed her car to take her kids to school had not returned.

12:59 p.m., traffic violation — A caller said five children were in a car without seat belts on in a parking lot on the 1100 block of Sanguinetti Road.

2:47 p.m., theft — A man said his laptop computer was stolen last week on the first block of South Forest Road.

5:06 p.m., public peace — A caller said a man was hiding in a business on the 1100 block of Sanguinetti Road because someone outside had threatened him.

7:29 p.m., suspicious circumstances — An employee from a business on the first block of South Washington Street said a customer was causing problems.

7:59 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A man on South Shepherd Street said neighbors were acting suspiciously around his home.

10:10 p.m., vandalism — A man said he caught someone spraying painting a building at the Mother Lode Fairgrounds.

YESTERDAY

1:34 a.m., fight — A fight occurred in front of a business on the 100 block of South Washington Street.

2:41 a.m., suspicious circumstances — A caller said someone was walking around a parking lot on the 1100 block of Sanguinetti Road kicking cars.

4:24 a.m., public intoxication — A 43-year-old man was arrested after he refused to leave the lobby of a business on the 100 block of Hospital Road.

9:32 a.m., West Point — A caller said a door frame was damaged on the 300 block of Sawyer Road.

10:05 a.m., San Andreas — A caller said pain killers were missing from a house on the 1100 block of Highway 49.

10:23 a.m., Railroad Flat — A man said his rental property on the 2400 block of Ridge Road was vandalized.

10:57 a.m., Arnold — A woman on the 2400 block of Camanche Drive said a man who sold her wood did not give her what he charged her for, then threatened her.

11:13 a.m., Copperopolis — A caller on the 900 block of Iroquois Circle said a repairman was harassing customers over auto repairs.

3:07 p.m., San Andreas — A caller said a man was trying to jump a fence to get to a vehicle parked at a business on the 800 block of Highway 49, South.

3:56 p.m., Dorrington — A caller said someone turned water off to a home on the 3400 block of Gardner Flat Road without permission.

4:26 p.m., San Andreas — A caller on the 600 block of Mountain Ranch Road said someone was shooting at a house with a paintball gun.

5:05 p.m., Avery — A caller reported ongoing trespassing problems on the 2100 block of Rancho Paradiso.

5:41 p.m., Valley Springs — A caller said a child came onto property on the 800 block of La Contenta Drive through some hedges.

7:53 p.m., Mountain Ranch — Several callers said shots and yelling were heard on the 18000 block of Old Greek Mine Road.

Felony bookings

THURSDAY

4:05 p.m., Valley Springs — Shawn Jonathan Melcher, 27, 10000 block of Hogan Dam Road, Valley Springs, booked on suspicion of burglary, stalking, trying to dissuade a witness and violating a court order to stay away after an arrest at his home.

Also arrested was Ray Kirkpatrick, 44, 10000 block of Hogan Dam Road, Valley Springs, booked on a warrant charging him with possessing substances to manufacture methamphetamine and felony parole violation.

Melcher remained held this morning in lieu of $120,000 bail. Kirkpatrick was held without bail this morning.
