The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:


2:10 a.m., Jamestown —  A Sonora man was arrested by deputies for disorderly conduct after he answered the door allegedly under the influence and holding a gun. Sheriff’s deputies were responding to a call at the 18900 block of North Drive that a man had been injured and was bleeding from the head.

7:04 a.m., Twain Harte — Three people were cited for sleeping behind the Twain Harte Middle School library on the 22900 block of Twain Harte Drive. 

2:34 p.m., Columbia — Someone reported that a 15-inch Macbook Pro was stolen from a locker at Columbia College on the 11000 block of Columbia College Drive. 

3:52 p.m., Twain Harte — Someone reported that people kicked in the door and stole guns from a home on the 21200 block of Rising Sun Mine Road. 

4:18 p.m., Twain Harte — Someone said that two men were drunk in public and harassing customers at a business on the 22900 block on Joaquin Gully Road. 

4:48 p.m., Columbia — A vehicle on the 11000 block of State Street had its windshield damaged by pellets from a BB gun. 

5:41 p.m., Jamestown — Someone on the 18100 block of Fifth Street reported a drunken man running down the street. Someone also reported that same man showed at the emergency room.

6:05 p.m., Twain Harte — Someone on the 19500 block of Middle Camp-Sugar Pine Road reported that their garage had been broken into and tools were stolen. 


1 a.m., Jamestown — Someone reported that a man was in the emergency room after an assault at a business on the 14400 block of Highway 108. 

Felony bookings


12:31 a.m., Standard — Victor Elliott McKinney, 34, of Modesto, was booked on suspicion on possessing and selling marijuana and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

11:52 a.m., Soulsbyville — Michael Jay Bennington, 25, of the 18200 block of Ninth Avenue, Jamestown, was booked on suspicion of drug possession and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia after an arrest at the 19800 block of Soulsbyville Road. 


Cited on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs:


6:31 p.m. Standard — Sean Michael Burdan, 39, of the 20200 block of Jamestown Road, Sonora, was arrested at Mono Way and Standard Road. He was also driving on a suspended license.

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:


1:02 p.m., drugs — A girl was passed out at Cassina High School, on South Barretta Street, possibly because of drug use. The girl was arrested after medical aid arrived.

2:34 p.m., arrest — A man was arrested on a warrant for theft after a disturbance at Sonora Regional Medical Center on Greenley Road. 

4:46 p.m. officer initiated activity — A man was riding a horse on South Washington Street. 

5:49 p.m., public intoxication — A man was arrested for suspicion of public drunkenness while sitting in front a soda machine harassing customers at a business on Sanguinetti Road.


The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:


2:58 p.m., Mountain Ranch — A man was arrested on suspicion of criminal contempt on the 1100 block of Quail Run.


7:44 a.m., Wallace — A post office was vandalized on South Camanche Parkway.

8:45 a.m. Jenny Lind — Tracy Ann Moreno, 38, of the 3700 block of Burson Road, Burson, was booked on suspicion of embezzlement and burglary on the 11700 block on Main Street, Jenny Lind. 

3:50 p.m. Mokelumne Hill — Jarad Larz Sullivan, 18, of an unspecified address in Arnold, was booked on suspicion of burglary and conspiracy to commit a crime at a business on the 1300 block of Oak Court, Arnold. 


Cited on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs:


3 p.m., Valley Springs — Mary Meredith Hill, 47, of the 190 block of Pine Street in Valley Springs, was arrested on Milton Road.
