Sheriff's reports

TUESDAY

9 a.m., Jamestown area — A woman said her vehicle parked on the 17500 block of Wild Oak Drive was broken into and the culprit left a bag of marijuana on the hood.

11:51 a.m., Columbia — A Columbia School employee asked a deputy to talk to two 11-year-old girls who walked away from school and were gone for about 45 minutes.

1:21 p.m., Tuolumne — A woman said her vehicle parked on the 20000 block of Tuolumne Road North was broken into, but nothing was stolen.

4:44 p.m., Groveland — A man said that sometime since last spring a house on the 12800 block of Mueller Drive was broken into.

4:47 p.m., Groveland — A man said his pickup truck was broken into overnight while parked on the 18000 block of Highway 120.

5:42 p.m., Jamestown — A man said two girls painted graffiti on a door at Jamestown Youth Center on the 10500 block of Seventh Street.

6:12 p.m., Soulsbyville area — A woman said a man hit her 15-year-old son in the face because he thought the boy did something disrespectful.

9:37 p.m., Twain Harte — A 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of public drunkenness after he caused a disturbance at Pizza Factory on the 18000 block of Tiffeni Drive.

Felony bookings

TUESDAY

4:06 p.m., Sonora — Marvin Leon Pierce Jr., 36, and Lowanda Lee Parra, 35, both of the 18700 block of Madrone Street, Tuolumne, both booked on suspicion of felony battery after an arrest on the 200 block of Greenley Road.

According to a Sonora police report, Pierce and Parra were fighting and a police officer arrested them both. Each remained held this morning in lieu of $35,000 bail.

6:05 p.m., East Sonora — Aaron Christopher Sheridan, 19, 22700 block of Twain Harte Drive, Twain Harte, booked on suspicion of vehicle theft, receiving stolen property and misdemeanor possession of a hypodermic needle and drunken driving after arrest in The Junction shopping center.

According to a sheriff's report, a man saw his friend's stolen pickup truck with Sheridan in the driver's seat. A deputy and a California Highway Patrol officer went to The Junction, questioned Sheridan and arrested him. He remained held this morning in lieu of $10,000 bail.

11:01 p.m., East Sonora — Kurtis Mitchell Hubbard, 25, 10600 block of Highway 49, Sonora, booked on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of a switchblade knife after a traffic stop on Mono Way. He remained jailed this morning in lieu of $10,000 bail.

Christopher Steven Berg, 21, 1900 block of Anglico Circle, Stockton, booked at 10:35 p.m. Tuesday after arrest on Highway 108 at Via Este, Soulsbyville area.

Marta Jeane Ketchem, 23, 16100 block of Via Este, Soulsbyville, booked at 2:26 a.m. yesterday after an arrest on South Stewart Street at Church Street, Sonora.

Henry Stuart Wilkins, 51, 20300 block of North Sunshine Road, Mono Vista area, booked at 4:14 a.m. yesterday after arrest on Highway 108 at Sunshine Station, Soulsbyville area.

Sonora police reports

TUESDAY

9:08 a.m., traffic accident — No one was injured in an accident at Sonora Crossroads shopping center.

1:05 p.m., property damage — A stop sign on Sanguinetti Road at Mono Way was pushed over.

6 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A caller said a man wearing a rain coat and hat was loading construction material into the back of a truck on Morning Star Drive.

7:26 p.m., traffic accident — Two vehicles collided in the Sonora Crossroads shopping center. No one was injured.

9:41 p.m., traffic violation — A woman was cited for driving without a license after a traffic stop on Mono Way.

TUESDAY

10:04 a.m., San Andreas — A theft was reported at Calaveras High School.

1:14 p.m., Arnold — A civil standby was requested on the 2500 block of Black Oak Drive because a mother refused to take her son to school.

1:21 p.m., Copperopolis — Kids poured paint on a basketball court on the 900 block of Black Creek Drive.

1:43 p.m., Arnold — A caller on the 2100 block of Highway 4 said an engine was ordered on the Internet, but the caller never received it.

2:42 p.m., Rail Road Flat — A caller on the 1800 block of Prussian Hill said people were poaching and entering the caller's property.

3:10 p.m., San Andreas — Someone drove off without paying for gas at a Highway 49 gas station.

3:59 p.m., San Andreas — A mother threatened to kill her 13-year-old son on the 400 block of Toyon Drive.

5 p.m., West Point — A woman on the 500 block of Winton Road said someone applied for a loan using her address and she's also received several items in the mail for this person.

5:42 p.m., San Andreas — A caller on the 1800 block of Windmill Circle said a dog went into her chicken pen and killed all but one of them. The dog's owner had been located and was on the way to pickup the dog.

6:12 p.m., San Andreas — A suspicious man was stealing items from a yard on the 400 block of Foothill Court. He returned them after the caller confronted him.

6:13 p.m., West Point — Car parts were reportedly stolen from a vehicle on the 22000 block of Highway 26.

7:15 p.m., Valley Springs — A neighbor dispute regarding a flood light was reported on the 9700 block of Scenic Valley Drive.

9:10 p.m., San Andreas — A dispute between a father and son was reported on the 1000 block of Knief Lane.

9:44 p.m., Dorrington — A person requested a tow truck due to a vehicle spinout on Boards Crossing Road.

YESTERDAY

12:48 a.m., Valley Springs — An animal was behaving strangely on the 8500 block of Hautley Lane.

1:43 a.m., San Andreas — A woman on the 400 block of Toyon Drive thought her roommate had put a trap on her phone.

TUESDAY

9:55 p.m., Copperopolis — Robert Victor Carroll, 39, 1100 block of Highway 4, Arnold, booked on suspicion of possessing drugs and drug paraphernalia. He posted $20,000 bail and was released from custody yesterday.

YESTERDAY

2:50 a.m., Angels Camp — Martin Darrell Hale, 43, unknown address on Bush Street, Angels Camp, booked on suspicion of possessing drugs and drug paraphernalia. Arrested on South Main Street, Hale remained in custody this morning in lieu of $20,000 bail.
