THURSDAY

7:28 a.m., Don Pedro area — A man said his neighbor's house on the 14000 block of Mariposa Court appeared to have been broken into. He found the doors open and windows broken.

8:07 a.m., Quail Hollow — A man on the 20200 block of Partridge Way said his truck window was smashed and a toolbox stolen.

8:08 p.m., Jamestown Road area — A caller said there was a large rock on Jamestown Road near Whiskey Creek Road and at least one vehicle has already hit it.

8:11 a.m., Standard area — A woman on the 19300 block of Cordelia Avenue said neighbor's pit bull was killing her goat. An animal control officer was called.

9:41 a.m., Tuolumne — Three children who did not show up for school at Summerville Elementary were found at a park and returned to their parents.

10:10 a.m., Columbia area — A man said a house on the 22000 block of Sawmill Flat Road was broken into.

10:23 a.m., Tuolumne — A Calaveras County detective found a gun on Buchanan Road.

11:49 a.m., Jamestown — A caller said a man with no shirt was singing in Rocca Park and beating on the park gazebo.

Noon, Eagle Meadow — A Forest Service ranger said a man and a woman with a camp trailer were stuck in 2 feet of snow and could not get out.

12:05 p.m., Jamestown area — A caller said two men were fighting and one man threatened to kill the other at Woods Creek Trailer Park on the 18700 block of Highway 108.

12:21 p.m., Twain Harte — A woman said she received a call from a man with a foreign accent requesting her bank account number for what she described as a scam. When she told the man it was a scam he started berating Americans and President Bush.

4:14 p.m., Tuolumne — A caller said a man and a woman were arguing in front of a small child on Pine Street. A deputy spoke with the couple and they agreed to calm down.

5:49 p.m., East Sonora — A man on the 19000 block of Hess Avenue said his political signs are continually being taken down.

6:09 p.m., Groveland — A 37-year-old man was arrested on misdemeanor warrants after traffic stop and arrest on Highway 120 at Merrell Road. He was also arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor possession of a switchblade knife.

FRIDAY

9:15 a.m., Columbia — A woman said two men pulled up to her house on the 11500 block of Rocher Court to read her meter in an unmarked vehicle. It turned out to be a legitimate check.

11:13 a.m., Sonora area — An employee of a business on the 12800 block of Cabezut Road said a woman was in the lobby with her father about a scam letter he received.

11:16 a.m., Standard area — A man said his house on the 15200 block of Cavalieri Road was broken into.

1:37 p.m., Sonora area — A woman on the 14600 block of Northridge Road said her neighbors' front door was open but they were not home.

1:41 p.m., Soulsbyville area — A woman said two suspicious looking people took off in a truck when someone arrived at a business on the 20500 block of Sunshine Road North.

1:45 p.m., Tuolumne — An employee at a business on the 18300 block of Gardner Avenue said a counterfeit $20 bill was passed earlier in the day.

2:49 p.m., Jamestown — A man said he was threatened by a woman in his business on the 18200 block of Main Street.

2:38 p.m., Twain Harte — An employee at a school on the 18800 block of Manzanita Drive said two children were in the office for possession of drugs.

2:55 p.m., Mi-Wuk Village — A man on the 20700 block of Muheli Road said someone had a party on his back deck and tried to start his house on fire.

3:13 p.m., Crystal Falls — A woman said 60 CDs and a jacket were stolen from an unlocked vehicle on the 21800 block of Russian River Drive.

3:17 p.m., Columbia — A man said another man in a truck stole a county road sign from Springfield Road.

4:20 p.m., Twain Harte — A man said someone broke into his vacation home on the 18900 block of Tiffeni Drive.

5:27 p.m., Standard — A woman on the 15500 block of Argyle Road said her home was broken into.

5:44 p.m., Crystal Falls — A man on the 21800 block of Crystal Falls Drive said a safe was taken from his bedroom.

9:22 p.m., Sonora area — A man said he saw a vehicle off Lime Kiln Road with a spotlight, possibly poaching.

9:36 p.m., East Sonora — A security guard found a business door open on the 13700 block of Mono Way.

10:35 p.m., Twain Harte — A man said he could hear people talking around his house on the 19900 block of Middle Camp Road.

10:52 p.m., Twain Harte — A woman said two suspicious-looking vehicles had pulled up near her home on the 17900 block of Plateau Road.

SATURDAY

1:11 a.m., Sonora — An assault occurred in the Tuolumne County Jail on Yaney Street.

3:46 a.m., Tuolumne — A man said numerous people were partying and making noise in the middle of Hillhaven Road.

3:56 a.m., Tuolumne — An employee of a business on the 19400 block of Tuolumne Road North said three men were drinking in the parking lot, but took off in a car before the employee could speak to them.

4:18 a.m., Sonora — An employee of Sonora Regional Medical Center said a person was in the emergency room for neck injuries after someone threw bullets in a bonfire at a party.

6:36 a.m., Sonora area — A woman said her vehicle's rear driver's side window was broken on the 9500 block of Highway 49.

10:14 a.m., Groveland — An employee at Tuolumne General Hospital said they were treating a man for burns he received when his camp stove exploded while he was camping off Hardin Flat Road.

10:54 a.m., Phoenix Lake area — A woman on the 16500 block of Sallander Drive said her neighbors were burning something that smelled like marijuana.

11:14 a.m., East Sonora — An employee at a business on the 13400 block of Mono Way said seven business-owned vehicles were entered and gas was stolen.

12:19 p.m., Sonora — A woman said four teenagers threw eggs at a man's car while he was at a stop sign on Sylva Lane.

12:23 p.m., Jamestown — A woman said her house on the 18000 block of Plaza Oriente was ransacked sometime during the past week.

1:30 p.m., La Grange — A man said people on motorcycles, possibly from a home on Salinas Street, were tearing up a park.

4:41 p.m., Tuolumne — A man said three people in a car threw a pumpkin at him and his friends and then tried to run them over on Pine Street.

5:02 p.m., Tuolumne — A man said he saw a man in a field with camouflage clothing and a mask run towards Yosemite Road.

7:31 p.m., Herring Creek — A man said there were two missing hunters off Herring Creek Road. One hunter called in later, but was alone, leaving the second hunter's location in question.

10:17 p.m., Twain Harte — A caller said a group was drinking and being loud on the 22900 block of Meadow Lane. When the caller asked them to quiet down, the caller was threatened.

11:09 p.m., East Sonora — A caller said someone from a party on the 15000 block of Cavalieri Road pounded on the caller's granddaughter's car as she drove by.

YESTERDAY

12:23 a.m., Columbia — A man said there was a large party on John Wallace Drive where teenagers were drinking.

THURSDAY

12:10 a.m., Jamestown — Mary Sue Charles, 46, 400 block of Clubhouse Drive, Jamestown, booked on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and making criminal threats after an arrest at her home. According to a Sonora police report, Charles approached a woman sitting in a car parked at Sonora Plaza shopping center on Wednesday and tried to stab the woman in the face with a knife and threatened to come back and "cut your face."

She remained in Tuolumne County Jail this morning in lieu of $30,000 bail.

FRIDAY

12:10 a.m., Mono Vista — Benjamin Michael Evans, 20, 15600 block of Ridgewood Drive, Sonora, booked on a warrant charging him with grand theft after a traffic stop and arrest on Longeway Road at Spanish Grant Road. He remained held this morning in lieu of $10,000 bail.

THURSDAY

10:58 a.m., animal complaints —A caller said two dogs behind a fence on the 300 block of South Stewart Street were trying to get out of the yard when people walk by.

1:57 p.m., animal complaints — A woman on the 800 block of Shaws Flat Road said three of her cats have died in the last few days.

2:30 p.m., warrant arrest — A 20-year-old man was arrested on misdemeanor traffic violation warrants after a traffic stop on Morning Star Drive at Cemetery Lane.

5:33 p.m., assault — A 34-year-old woman was booked on suspicion of misdemeanor battery and public intoxication after an arrest at Tuolumne General Hospital.

6:51 p.m., found property — A caller said a red and black backpack with books inside was next to a green power box on Morning Star Drive.

7:14 p.m., vandalism — A man on the 300 block of North Washington Street said phone wires to his house had been cut.

7:45 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A woman on Saratoga Road said 10 days ago someone threw a water balloon at her vehicle and Thursday threw a rock at the same vehicle.

7:14 a.m., suspicious circumstances — A man said a neighbor asked him to call 911 because someone was the neighbor's home on the 300 block of North Washington Street.

7:35 a.m., suspicious circumstances — A caller said someone was banging on the wall of a home on the 300 block of North Washington Street.

8:54 a.m., fraudulent activities — Counterfeit checks were used at a business on the 1100 block Sanguinetti Road.

10:06 a.m., threats — A man made threats to another man on the first block of South Stewart Street.

1:33 p.m., vandalism — A caller saw the yellow concrete pillars at a business on the 800 block of Mono Way being damaged.

2:52 p.m., burglary — A man on the 400 block of South Barretta Street said his home was broken into.

9:25 p.m., controlled substances — A caller said a man outside of a business on the 1100 block of Sanguinetti Road was using drugs.

10:05 p.m., theft — A boy was caught shoplifting at a business on the first block of Pesce Way.

11:46 p.m., public intoxication — A 23-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication after trespassing on the 100 block of South Washington Street.

9:53 a.m., suspicious circumstances — A caller said the ignition was punched out of a truck while parked on the 1200 block of Mono Way.

11:44 a.m., theft — A woman on the 200 block of Greenley Road said her ATM card was stolen and had been used the day before.

9:26 p.m., burglary — A caller said a home was burglarized on the 200 block of Greenley Road.

10:52 p.m., warrant arrests — A 44-year-old man was arrested on two warrants for public intoxication on North Washington Street.

YESTERDAY

2:32 a.m., public intoxication — A 22-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication on Linoberg Street.

2:36 a.m., public intoxication — A 27-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication after he was found sleeping in his vehicle on Linoberg Street.

Fires

TODAY

5:29 a.m., Pine Mountain Lake — A fire damaged a garage at a home at 12293 Tower Peaks Court. The fire was caused by an overloaded electrical outlet. The homeowner's name was unavailable. Groveland Community Services District Fire Department and the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection responded.

10:13 p.m., San Andreas — A caller said a patient was causing a disturbance in the emergency room of a hospital on the 700 block of Mountain Ranch Road.

10:44 p.m., Valley Springs — A caller said someone was trying to break into a home on the 6500 block of McCauley Road.

7:40 a.m., Angels Camp — A caller said a purse was stolen out of a vehicle parked on the 800 block of Tuolumne Avenue the night before.

7:44 a.m., Angels Camp — A caller said a purse was stolen out of a vehicle parked on the 1500 block of Sonora Street the night before.

8:46 a.m., Angels Camp — A caller said two vehicles on the 1100 block of Susan Drive were broken into the night before.

11:27 a.m., Murphys — A caller said keys were stolen from a vehicle on the 400 block of Main Street.

11:46 a.m., Douglas Flat — A caller said a stereo was stolen from a locked car on the 1800 block of Live Oak Drive.

12:33 p.m., Douglas Flat — A caller said a purse was stolen from a vehicle on the 1800 block of Sugar Pine Way the night before.

12:43 p.m., Douglas Flat — A caller said a wallet was stolen from a vehicle on the 1800 block of Sugar Pine Way the night before.

2:25 p.m., Douglas Flat — A caller said about $6 was taken from a vehicle on the 1700 block of Ironwood Court.

2:32 p.m., Douglas Flat — A caller said a vehicle was broken into on the 1800 block of live Oak Drive.

YESTERDAY

12:40 a.m., Valley Springs — A caller reported an altercation between two people on Highway 12. One was later arrested for violation of a restraining order.

2 p.m., Valley Springs — Alice Orr, 22, 300 block of Bryer Lane, Selma, booked on suspicion of committing forgery. As of this morning, Orr remained in custody at the county jail in lieu of $15,000 bail.

Robert Darrell Lubeck, 55, unknown address on Center Street, Mokelumne Hill, booked at 10 p.m. Thursday after arrest at the intersection of highways 49 and 26 in Mokelumne Hill.

Lori Peterson, 45, 4400 block of Independence Road, Glencoe, booked at 10:05 a.m. Friday after arrest at the intersection of Highway 49 and Mountain Ranch Road in Mountain Ranch.

Charles Thomas Shaw, 57, 1200 block of Pool Station Road, San Andreas, booked at 8:20 p.m. Friday after arrest at the intersection of Russells Road and Market Street in San Andreas.

Michael David McCartney, 51, 14000 block of Godshill Road, Amador City, booked at 9:30 p.m. Friday after arrest at the intersection of Highway 49 and Lombardi Road.

Daniel Larry Kisner, 33, 400 block of Jojoba Lane, Mokelumne Hill, booked at 10:17 p.m. Friday after arrest at the intersection of Highway 49 and Center Street in Mokelumne Hill.

Fires

FRIDAY

10:30 a.m., West Point — A vehicle fire destroyed a 1984 Dodge Ram Charger at 599 Stanley Road. Damage was estimated at $500. A fuel system failure caused the fire. The name of the owner was unavailable. West Point Fire Protection District responded.

SATURDAY

4:30 p.m. San Andreas — A structure fire was reported at 615 Russells Road. Damage was not severe, although the exact dollar amount was unavailable. Property owner is unknown and the cause is under investigation. An ambulance did respond to treat someone with smoke inhalation. California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, San Andreas Fire Protection District, Mokelumne Hill Fire Protection District, Central Fire Protection District and Altaville-Melones Fire Protection District responded.
