THURSDAY

8:24 a.m., Chinese Camp — A woman on the 9000 block of Friendship Hill Road said her house was broken into sometime in the last week.

9:02 a.m., Twain Harte — A woman on the 22000 block of Robin Hood Drive said someone dumped used motor oil and paint at a house under construction.

9:32 a.m., Tuttletown — A commercial paint sprayer was reported stolen from a shed on the 8000 block of Tuttletown School Road.

9:37 a.m., Tuolumne — A Summerville High School employee said a man wearing a white T-shirt and jeans was hiding in bushes across from the lower bus barns. The caller heard a bang and thought it might be a rifle shot. Three deputies went to the area and determined the man was on Me-Wuk tribal land and he did not have a gun.

10:04 a.m., Sonora — Willie Joe Johnson, 31, of Jamestown, serving jail time through a work-release program, failed to show up for work and is now considered an escapee.

12:35 p.m., Chinese Camp — A man on Red Hills Road said his vehicle was broken into early Thursday morning.

12:40 p.m., Tuolumne — A man said there appeared to be an attempted break-in to a shed at Mother Lode Christian School on Gardner Avenue.

3:30 p.m., Belleview Oaks — A woman said friends of a neighbor's threatened her when they were moving a vehicle on property on Fortuna Mine Road near Sirus Mine Road.

5:21 p.m., Pinecrest — A woman said a man at Sugar Pine Avenue and Pinecrest Lake Drive had been chanting for more than 30 minutes. She later called back and said the man was screaming at the trees.

5:30 p.m., Standard — A woman said as she sat reading at Standard Park, a woman came up, pushed her over and kicked her.

5:58 p.m., Tuolumne — About $20 worth of gasoline was siphoned from a vehicle parked on the 18600 block of Cedar Street.

7:04 p.m., Mi-Wuk Village — A man said medication and a gun were stolen from his house on Lama Teumete Road.

7:28 p.m., Jamestown — A woman on the 10300 block of Preston Lane said a 10-year-old neighbor threw a rock at her 13-year-old son's head and injured him.

7:35 p.m., Wards Ferry area — A man on the 18000 block of Wards Ferry Road said guns were stolen from his garage.

11:42 p.m., Twain Harte — A 41-year-old man was booked on misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop and arrest on East Avenue.

9:58 a.m., Pinecrest — A woman said someone moved a lounge chair cushion and knocked down two birdhouses on her neighbor's deck on the 300 block of Sugar Pine Avenue.

10:03 a.m., East Sonora — An employee at a business on the 13600 block of Mono Way said a man keeps trying to pay for items with multiple credit cards and believes it is part of a scam.

10:42 a.m., Soulsbyville — A man on the 20100 block of Soulsbyville Mine Road said a barbecue, food box, six chairs and an end table were taken from his property.

12:19 p.m., Sonora area — A man on the 20700 block of Lyons Bald Mountain Road said a woman sold items she had stolen from him.

12:59 p.m., Sonora area — A caller said a car was burglarized while parked on the 800 block of Sanguinetti Road.

2:48 p.m., Cedar Ridge — A woman said a man was causing problems at Belleview School.

2:53 p.m., Jamestown — A woman on Seventh Street said someone put dirt in her vehicle's radiator.

3:42 p.m., Tuolumne — Black Oak Casino security reported said a woman was being held for theft.

3:47 p.m., Jamestown — A caller said a dozen people were yelling angrily in Rocca Park, off Main Street.

4:16 p.m., Belleview Oaks — A woman said a suspicious-looking man she had seen earlier at a store was parked at the end of her driveway on the 21700 block of Robin Hill Road.

5:12 p.m., Mi-Wuk Village — A woman said she saw a car chase while walking on Kiku Lane.

5:12 p.m., Twain Harte — A woman said two women were fighting on Meadow Drive while a group of about 20 people watched.

5:55 p.m., Sugar Pine — A man on the 19900 block of Highway 108 said someone cut wires in his vehicle then twisted them back.

7:48 p.m., Crystal Falls — A woman said she saw two teenage boys smashing mailboxes on Crystal Falls Drive and tearing up mail.

8:08 p.m., Groveland — A man said his home on the 8000 block of Priest Coulterville Road was broken into.

9:12 p.m., East Sonora — A woman said a man has been stealing items from a house on the 15200 block of Cavalieri Road.

11:42 p.m., Sonora area — A woman on the 9000 block of Fraguero Road said she saw someone outside of her car. When her husband yelled at the person, the person jumped in and took off with the car.

12:10 a.m., Sonora area — A woman reported a suspicious-looking vehicle on the 20200 block of Sparrow Lane.

1:01 a.m., Jamestown — A woman on the 17600 block of Twin Oak Drive said her burglar alarm was going off and someone might be trying to break in.

9:37 a.m., Jamestown — An employee of a business on the 18700 block of Chabroullian Lane said another employee was assaulted by a family member of one of the business' customers.

10:43 a.m., East Sonora — A woman said she was threatened by her roommate on the 16100 block of Big Hill Road.

11:25 a.m., Tuolumne — A woman said she saw a man hit his head against several fuel pumps on the 18300 block of Tuolumne Road.

12:33 p.m., Jamestown — A woman said a purse fell from a moving vehicle on Highway 108 near Chabroullian Lane.

12:51 p.m., Jamestown — A man on the 10500 block of Wigwam Road said a woman had threatened him.

12:51 p.m., Twain Harte — A woman said a man was waiting outside her house on the 18800 block of Manzanita Drive when her daughter came home the night before. The man questioned the daughter and then left.

1:26 p.m., Sonora area — A caller said a truck parked on Wards Ferry Road belonged to poachers.

3:55 p.m., Big Oak Flat — A clerk at a business on the 17500 block of Highway 120 said a teenager tried to use an old credit card from a business to buy something, but left after being questioned about it.

4:05 p.m., Twain Harte — A caller said two people on off-road vehicles were tearing down trees on Mt. Elizabeth Road. It turned out the vehicles had gotten stuck and no trees were torn down.

4:30 p.m., Cold Springs — A woman said the bed liner was stolen from her truck on the 29600 block of Lassen Drive.

4:32 p.m., East Sonora — A caller said a woman the caller lives with has moved all her things outside their home on the 16100 block of Big Hill Road.

6:04 p.m., East Sonora — A woman on the 19300 block of Hess Avenue said she found an arrow in the side of her shed.

7:39 p.m., Strawberry — A caller on Georges Drive said the neighbor's door had been open all day long, but no one seems to be home.

9:18 p.m., Don Pedro — A man said off-roaders had been making noise and stirring up dust on the 13400 block of Salinas Street.

10:14 p.m., Moccasin — A caller said people on a houseboat near Jacksonville Road were setting off fireworks.

11:25 p.m., East Sonora — A caller said a woman hit her daughter with a flashlight on the 16100 block of Big Hill Road.

YESTERDAY

3:23 a.m., Big Oak Flat — A man said a woman claimed she was thrown out of a vehicle on Highway 120 near Old Priest Grade.

7:09 a.m., Phoenix Lake — A man said two vehicles had been burglarized while parked on the 16600 block of Creekside Drive.

Felony bookings

FRIDAY

1:10 a.m., Sonora area — Elliott Seth Simpson, 32, 11700 block of Punter Ranch Road, Sonora, booked on a warrant charging him with evading a police officer, resisting arrest and driving on a suspended license after a traffic stop and arrest on Lime Kiln Road. He remained held this morning in lieu of $25,000 bail.

1:51 a.m., Jamestown — Jose Luis Gomez 31, unknown address on Alder Street, Sonora, booked on suspicion of evading a police officer and false impersonation and misdemeanor drunken driving and reckless driving after an arrest on Highway 108 at Main Street. He was released Saturday after posting $10,000 bail.

Johnny Albert Fink, 34, no address given, booked at 2:25 a.m. Thursday after arrest on Highway 108 at Cordelia Avenue, East Sonora.

Robert Edward Boblett, 45, 400 block of South Stewart Street, Sonora, booked at 10:45 p.m. Thursday after arrest on South Stewart Street at Gold Street, Sonora.

8:02 a.m., found property — A city employee found a sleeping bag and ice chest in Coffill Park.

1:41 p.m., warrant arrest — A 23-year-old man was arrested on misdemeanor warrants after a traffic stop on Gold Street.

2:32 p.m., warrant arrest — A 27-year-old woman was booked on a misdemeanor drug possession warrant after a traffic stop on South Green Street.

3:20 p.m., public peace — A Sonora High School employee said there might be a large fight among students at an off-campus location on Highway 49.

5:09 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A caller said three small children were left in a white Dodge pickup truck in the parking lost at Timberhills shopping center while the parent was in a store. The truck was gone when an officer arrived.

6:10 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A caller said people were riding a motorcycle on a maintenance road near Woods Creek Drive.

7:43 p.m., public intoxication — A 40-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public after she refused to pay for her meal and bar tab at a restaurant on the 100 block of South Washington Street.

10:42 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A man who got off work from Wal-Mart found his car had been wrapped in shrink wrap and foul language written on it.

10:49 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A caller found plastic wrap wrapped around trees across Shaws Flat Road, possibly as a Sonora High School homecoming prank.

8:17 a.m., vandalism — A caller said there was graffiti on a window on the 400 block of South Washington Street.

9:51 a.m., theft — A Sonora woman had her credit card stolen while in San Francisco and was told to call Sonora police.

10:14 a.m., traffic accident — A non-injury, hot and run accident occurred on the corner of South Shepherd Street and East Lyons Street.

11:52 a.m., theft — A caller said a purse was stolen from the Sonora High School gym on Thursday night.

12:04 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A caller said an argument occurred over the phone and the caller was afraid the person on the other line would show up where the caller was — on the 200 block of West Jackson Street.

2:40 p.m., fight — A caller said there was a fight behind a business on the 100 block of South Washington Street.

2:59 p.m., disorderly conduct — A caller said a group of teenage boys turned over the benches in Pioneer Park, on West Bradford Avenue.

3:15 p.m., traffic accident — A man said a big rig hit his vehicle on the 100 block of Old Wards Ferry Road and kept on driving.

3:50 p.m., vehicle theft — A caller said a locked vehicle was taken from a parking lot on Hospital Road.

6:40 p.m., public intoxication — A 43-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication after stumbling down Stockton Road.

8:58 p.m., public intoxication — A 68-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication on the 400 block of North Washington Street.

9:05 p.m., assault — A woman said she was harassed by an intoxicated man in a parking lot on South Stewart Street.

9:11 p.m., public peace — A caller said a group of children was blocking the entrance to a business on the 100 block of South Washington Street.

11:43 p.m., public safety — A caller said people were on a balcony on Saratoga Road throwing water balloons at passing vehicles.

SATURDAY

1:24 a.m., fight — A caller reported an argument on the 200 block of Greenley Road.

3:17 a.m., suspicious circumstances — A caller said a young man had been knocking on a door on South Barretta Street for 30 minutes.

6:37 a.m., burglary — A caller said a safe holding $666 in petty cash was stolen from the Tuolumne County Probation Department, on the 400 block of South Washington Street.

12:42 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A Sonora man said he received a letter in the mail he believes to be a scam.

2:09 p.m., theft — A man on the 400 block of East Jackson Street said someone ripped the CD player out of his unlocked car.

9:52 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A caller said a man was driving up and down Orchard Avenue, taking notes with a pen light.

10:18 p.m., assault — An employee from a business on the 100 block of South Washington Street said two of the business' patrons had got into a fight.

YESTERDAY

1:55 a.m., public peace — An employee from a business on the 100 block of South Washington Street said a customer was refusing to leave.

Fires

FRIDAY

7:30 a.m., Strawberry — A fire caused $2,000 damage to a truck at Highway 108 just south of U.S. Forest Service road 4N39. The 1988 Toyota pickup truck is owned by Brian Kesner of Tuolumne. Tuolumne County Fire Department and California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection responded.

9:15 a.m., Twain Harte — A small spot fire was reported at 19780 Westview Drive. The fire was caused by children playing with matches. No damage was reported. The property is owned by Mike Barrows. CDF and Twain Harte Community Services District firefighters responded.

SATURDAY

1:30 p.m., Belleview Oaks — A small spot fire was reported at 21811 Belleview Road. California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, Tuolumne County Fire Department and U.S. Forest Service crews responded. The fire, on property owned by Cathy Stansill, was caused by children playing with matches. No damage was reported.

9:56 a.m., Douglas Flat — A caller on the 1100 block of Highway 4 said a front door was damaged in a break-in.

10:39 a.m., Valley Springs — A caller said a boat was vandalized on the 1200 block of Gillam Road.

11:01 a.m., Valley Springs — A caller said a neighbor on the 8400 block of Pardini Road was yelling the caller's sons names over a bull horn.

3:26 p.m., Arnold — A caller on the 20000 block of Pine Drive said money had been stolen several months ago.

5:27 p.m., Arnold — A caller said a dock was vandalized on the 2700 block of Pine Drive.

7:24 p.m., Copperopolis — A caller reported a verbal fight on the 2800 block of Arrowhead Street.

11:11 p.m., Hathaway Pines — A caller said a few suspicious-looking people were walking around the 100 block of Cedar Drive.

12:22 p.m., Arnold — A caller said several suspicious-looking people were hanging around the Lilac Park Pool.

12:27 p.m., West Point — A caller said a boy was out of control and broke a window on the 500 block of Winton Road.

6:32 p.m., Arnold — A caller said a cabin on the 2600 block of Chamonix Drive was burglarized.

7:11 p.m., Copperopolis — A caller said a shed on the 400 block of Bret Harte Road was vandalized.

7:13 p.m., Copperopolis — A caller reported a verbal argument between neighbors on the first block of Copper Meadows Drive.

10:08 p.m., Murphys — A caller said a home on the 400 block of Wyldewood Drive was broken into.

10:42 p.m., San Andreas — A caller said someone was building a house on the 1300 block of Calaveritas Road while the caller was trying to sleep.

SATURDAY

10:39 a.m., Copperopolis — A caller said suspicious-looking people were on a dock on the 6200 block of Ricky Road. It turned out they were fixing the dock.

11:20 a.m., West Point — A caller said a man was walking down the 20600 block of Highway 26 waving his arms around.

1:01 p.m., Burson — A caller said a man and woman were fighting on the 8000 block of Olive Branch Lane.

4:14 p.m., Murphys — An alarm led officers to a building on the 700 block of Murphys Creek Road with its door open. Everything was secure.

4:29 p.m., Arnold — A caller said a man was assaulted on the 1200 block of Oak Circle.

7:49 p.m., West Point — A woman on the 1400 block of Skull Flat Road said her neighbor called her to tell her someone was in the house at the end of the road with a flashlight.

7:57 p.m., West Point — A caller reported a fight on the 100 block of Parsons Lane.

8:15 p.m., Vallecito — A caller said a neighbor was trespassing on the 2400 block of McDaniel Lane after being asked not to.

Fires

FRIDAY

2:15 p.m., West Point — A small spot fire was reported at 1595 Spink Road. Engines from CDF and the West Point Fire Protection District and a helicopter from Columbia Airport responded to the property, owned by Chet Serdun of Orinda. Cause of the fire is under investigation. No damage was reported.
