TUOLUMNE COUNTY The Sheriff’s Office reported the following: WEDNESDAY 1:56 a.m., Twain Harte — An amputee fell and broke the remaining leg on the 22600 block of Twain Harte Drive. 9:56 a.m., Twain Harte — A woman said a man used explosives around her children to blow up a banana and a box on the 22800 block of Fuller Road. 10:19 a.m., Phoenix Lake — A woman said she found a tape recorder attached to the wall with Velcro in her closet and a motorcycle engine wrapped in a blanket under her home on the 15500 block of Paseo de Los Robles. 10:30 a.m., Long Barn —A caller reported someone destroying their paved easement on the 29600 block of Lassen Drive. 12:44 p.m., Columbia — A man said a woman assaulted him in a parking lot on the 11000 block of Columbia College Drive. 1:51 p.m., Sonora area — A 64-year-old woman said she was pregnant and going to marry a man from a magazine after trying to escape from an assisted living home on South Court. 2:14 p.m., East Sonora — Two juveniles were arrested on suspicion of shoplifting on the 13700 block of Mono Way. 3:12 p.m., Sonora area — A caller said a panhandler at the intersection of Amy Drive and Crestview Drive was scaring the children at the bus stop and was carrying a cardboard sign. 3:57 p.m., Jamestown — A woman on the 10600 block of Jim Brady Road said someone stole items from her vehicle. 5:59 p.m., East Sonora — A man said he was talking to his friend, a woman on the 19400 block of Hess Avenue who was having difficulty breathing and that her dog was giving her mouth to mouth resuscitation. 6:40 p.m., Jamestown — A woman was bitten by a feral cat on the 18300 block of Fifth Avenue. 7:19 p.m., Tuolumne — A home was broken into and jewelry stolen on the 20800 block of Sunswept Drive. The Sonora Police Department reported the following: WEDNESDAY 2:04 p.m., theft — A woman said her purse was stolen from Heaven for Kids Park on Greenley Road on Saturday. Felony bookings WEDNESDAY 2:02 a.m., Sonora —James Loren Hanson, 20, of the 300 block of Elk Drive, booked on suspicion of narcotic possession and misdemeanor possession of drugs without a prescription, after an arrested on the 300 block of South Washington Street. 2 p.m., Sonora — Randy Taylor Henington, 57, transient, booked on suspicion of receiving stolen property and petty theft with a prior after an arrest on the 1000 block of Greenley Road. Arrests Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs: WEDNESDAY 5:40 p.m., Tuolumne — Robert Lee Litzler, 41, of the 19800 block of Via Redonda Road, Sonora, arrested on Bay Avenue at Main Street. 9:05 p.m., Tuolumne area — Daniel Julio Garibay Jr., 58, of Merced, arrested on Tuolumne Road at Aarondale Road.
