TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

TUESDAY
    8:46 a.m., Crystal Falls — A trash dump was located on the 16000 block of Columbia River Drive. Two of the suspected people involved refused to clean up the dump when asked by officers.
    8:47 a.m., Chinese Camp — A lobby rug was stolen from Chinese Camp Post Office on the 13000 block of Red Hills Road.
    2:37 p.m., Phoenix Lake — A man came home to his residence on the 21000 block of Phoenix Lake Road to find that it had been burglarized.
   
Arrests

    Cited on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs:

TUESDAY
    12:01 a.m., Sonora area — Nathan James Akers, 28, of the 18000 block of Pine Street, Tuolumne, was arrested on Tuolumne Road at Old Wards Ferry Road.

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

TUESDAY
    1:13 p.m., theft — Someone reported a drill and chain saw had been stolen about three weeks ago from a residence on Corky Lane.
    1:42 p.m., theft — A stereo was stolen from a Jeep parked on Stockton Road at South Washington Street.
    3:58 p.m., trespass — A woman reported she had come to check on a residence she purchased on Stockton Road but found evidence that someone had been living inside. She found court paperwork and clothing strewn about the residence.
    4:16 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A man was reported dressed in a trench coat and wearing a bandana over his face near apartments on Snell Street. Officers responded and found the man was not armed or doing anything suspicious, just had a “unique choice of fashion.” The man agreed to remove the bandana.
   
CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

TUESDAY
    9:56 a.m., Valley Springs — A business was burglarized on Main Street.
    7:51 p.m. West Point — A business was vandalized on Main Street.

Felony bookings

TUESDAY
    12:01 a.m., Vallecito — Rosa Delia Patina, 48, of the 100 block of Shady Lane, was booked on suspicion of assault and battery with serious bodily injury, after an arrest at her home.
    1:30 p.m., San Andreas — James Scott Glenn, 26, of the 700 block of North Main Street, Jackson, was booked on suspicion of possessing a dangerous weapon, after an arrest at Calaveras County Superior Court.
