TUOLUMNE COUNTY 

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

MONDAY

10:02 a.m., warrant arrest — A man was arrested on a local warrant at Courthouse Square.

11:16 a.m., traffic accident — Someone was hit by a car in a crosswalk at South Washington Street and West Stockton Road.

12:25 p.m., burglary — Items were stolen from a carport on North Norlin Street.

1:36 p.m., suspicious circumstances — Someone took photos of ATMs on Mono Way. The person was reportedly cleaning the machines.  

1:56 p.m., assault — A student assaulted another student during lunch at Sonora High School.

3:22 p.m., theft — A sewing machine was stolen from Joann Fabrics on Sanguinetti Road.

5:24 p.m., theft — A cell phone was stolen from South Green Street.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

MONDAY

9:02 a.m., Tuolumne — A Summerville High School student complained that a classmate harassed her via Twitter by posting negative comments. 

9:19 a.m., Sonora area — Two vehicles, tools and a hunting rifle were reported stolen from the 14300 block of Cuesta Court. 

10:28 a.m., La Grange — Two arrows were found in a horse pen on the 14300 block of Avenida Central. Arrows were also found on Oct. 19 and 20.

10:43 a.m., Tuolumne — An assault was reported on the 18400 block of Carter Street.

12:10 p.m., Sonora area — A car was keyed on the 14200 block of Kelly Loop.

12:52 p.m., Big Oak Flat — Theft occurred at a business on the 11300 block of Wards Ferry Road. The caller had tire prints from a vehicle they believe was involved.

1:42 p.m., Tuolumne — A bracelet was stolen from a hotel on the 19400 block of Tuolumne Road.

1:48 p.m., Jamestown — Items were stolen from a barn on the 8900 block of Bench Drive.

3:02 p.m., Jamestown – A woman on the 18100 block of Fourth Avenue said another woman used her debit card without permission.

3:43 p.m., Groveland — Jewelry was stolen from the 20000 block of Pleasant View Drive.

3:48 p.m., Soulsbyville — A man and woman fought in a car on the side of the road on Soulsbyville Road and Willow Springs Drive. 

7:36 p.m., Sonora — A Chihuahua was stolen from the 20300 block of Crow Court. Someone later admitted to taking the dog.

MONDAY

4:46 p.m., Confidence — Ryan Albert Wardwell, 24, of the 15000 block of Lakeside Drive, Soulsbyville, was booked on suspicion of inflicting corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant, damaging a telephone or power line, threatening crime with intent to terrorize, maliciously destroying others property, and possession of a controlled substance after an arrest on Confidence Road. 

CALAVERAS COUNTY 

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

SUNDAY

7:51 a.m., Arnold — A dead bear was seen on Meadow Drive and Moran Road with a rope tied around its neck.

3:10 p.m., Railroad Flat — A motorcyclist and passenger were treated for minor injuries after the driver reportedly lost control and went off the road at Blue Mountain and Rail 

Road Flat roads.

11:10 a.m., San Andreas — A report was taken for vandalism at the Calaveras County Jail on Mountain Ranch Road.

2:19 p.m., Railroad Flat — Someone was yelling and kicking the door and walls of a house on Ridge Road.

3:33 p.m., San Andreas — Someone said people were hanging around an ATM, possibly watching customers on an East St. Charles Street bank. 

4:20 p.m., San Andreas — A burglary was reported on Pixley Avenue. 

MONDAY

9:06 a.m., Hathaway Pines — Someone was cited for trespassing on Highway 4. 

9:43 a.m., San Andreas — Someone was arrested on a local warrant at the Calaveras County Jail.

10:10 a.m., Arnold — An attempted break-in was reported on West Mokelumne Drive.

11:37 a.m., San Andreas — Vandalism was reported at a business on West Saint Charles Street.

1:01 p.m., Angels Camp — Shots were fired on Red Hill Road and Highway 49.

1:13 p.m., Valley Springs — Someone was arrested on a health and safety violation on Berkesey Lane.

3:18 p.m., Murphys — A residential burglary was reported on Six Mile Road.

8:20 p.m., Valley Springs — Public intoxication was reported at a business on Highway 26.

TUESDAY 

6:38 a.m., Angels Camp — A suspicious person was arrested on Deer Creek Drive.

MONDAY

9:45 a.m., San Andreas — Holly Lee Longeway, 42, of the 800 block of Tuolumne Avenue, Angels Camp, was booked on suspicion of injury of a spouse or cohabitant and misdemeanor charges of obstructing a police officer and providing false identification after an arrest at the Calaveras County Jail.

1:58 p.m., Valley Springs — Thomas Jeffrey Rhoades, 45, of the 5100 block of East Horner Avenue, Stockton, was booked on suspicion of drug possession and possession of unlawful paraphernalia after an arrest on the 3200 block of Berkesey Lane.

4:42 p.m., Angels Camp —  Patrick James Bill, of the 2200 block of Earie Court, Tracy, booked after an arrest on Highway 4 and Hunt Road.
