TUOLUMNE COUNTY 

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

FRIDAY

11:06 a.m., reckless driving — Someone said a group of teenagers driving recklessly jumped out of a car and got back in while the car was stopped at a red light on Greenley Road.

6 p.m., disorderly conduct — Police responded to reports of a red 1960s Mustang driving on South Washington Street playing loud music.

6:32 p.m.,disorderly conduct — A black motorcycle was making noise with loud pipes and playing loud music on South Washington Street.

6:47 p.m., threats — A patient at Sonora Regional Medical center was threatening a physician in the emergency room lobby.

SATURDAY

9:12 a.m., unclassified — Transients were making a camp near a South Washington Street restaurant parking lot.

11:30 a.m., controlled substance — Three men were smoking marijuana in a truck parked on Greenley Road.

12:48 p.m., weapons violation — Four gunshots were heard fired off Highway 49.

2:14 p.m., traffic accident — A vehicle vs. wheelchair accident was reported on Mono Way. One person was transported to Sonora Regional Medical Center by ambulance.

11:35 p.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — A fight was reported at East Church and Shepherd streets between two men.

SUNDAY

1:07 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A man video taped a child he arrived with at Rotary Park on Woods Creek Drive, then reportedly began filming other children. Officers determined he was just a grandfather taping his grandchild.

3:03 p.m., weapons violation — A man called in concern over a firearm in a vehicle he had loaned out. An officer collected the firearm for safekeeping. 

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

FRIDAY 

9:41 a.m., Jamestown — A theft was reported from a home on Highway 49 of items including camping gear, CDs, lanterns, a chain and other items.

9:47 a.m., Sonora area — Problems were reported at a home on Old Sonora Columbia Road with people crossing the fence, accessing an old mine on the property and vandalizing a fence.

11:14 a.m., Sonora area — A man told deputies someone broke a window in his truck on Columbia Way and rummaged through the cab.

6:13 p.m., La Grange — A panhandler was said to be drunk and bothering customers while sitting near an ice machine in front of a Highway 132 store. The man was gone when deputies arrived.

7:25 p.m., Tuolumne — A suspicious man was seen pacing next to his parked vehicle looking agitated or on drugs on Tuolumne Road at Ponderosa Way.

9:21 p.m., Jamestown — Emergency personnel responded to a kitchen fire on Old Melones Dam Road.

10:10 p.m., Sonora area — A man reported someone came into his Allison Way residence and ate his hotdogs.

11:07 p.m., Twain Harte — A fight occurred at a Twain Harte Drive business.

SATURDAY 

6:11 a.m., Jamestown — Possible poachers were reported to be spotlighting in the Chinese Camp and Don Pedro areas.

7:36 a.m., Jamestown — A possible break-in was reported at a Main Street restaurant.

8:16 a.m., Sonora area — A suspicious vehicle was seen near Apple Hill Drive and Lyons Bald Mountain Road. The vehicle’s driver had been spotted in the area in recent days walking around with a bow.

8:29 a.m., Sonora area — Someone reported 10 to 15 people bungee jumping off the Wards Ferry Bridge on Wards Ferry Road.

9:52 a.m., Groveland — A woman reported a possible telephone scam where a man claimed she won $2 million and a car, but told her she had to buy a Walmart gift card and send it to him to claim her prize.

10:56 a.m., Jamestown — A man was seen harassing people in a mobile home park off Highway 108, going through the garbage and asking people if he can wash their cars.

11 a.m., Jamestown — A man claimed he was given a faulty key by a locksmith that the man said broke his lock.

12:13 p.m., Jamestown — Someone reported juveniles partying over the weekend under the bridge off Jacksonville Road.

1:02 p.m., Twain Harte — A group of men were throwing bottles behind a Joaquin Gully store.

1:06 p.m., Jamestown — A vegetation fire was reported on Hog Mountain Road.

1:50 p.m., Jamestown — A man was seen dumping at least two kittens near the entrance of the old dump on Campo Seco Road.

2:17 p.m., Sonora area — Two men were seen with a sluice box prospecting in Sullivan Creek. The reporting party said they were damaging the creek.

2:53 p.m., Tuolumne — Vandalism was reported on Tuolumne Road at Westside Road, including windows broken out of heavy machinery.

5:12 p.m., Sonora area — A man said his vehicle was stolen from a  Tuolumne Road business.

5:16 p.m., Sonora area — A woman said someone busted the windows out of her minivan on Big HIll Road.

6:47 p.m., Yosemite — A tree was seen on fire on Hardin Flat Road.

8:38 p.m., Sonora area — A neighbor reported a horrible smell coming from a Wards Ferry Road mobile home even though no one lived there. Responders could not determine the source of the the odor.

11:55 p.m., Sonora area — A man said someone threw eggs at his vehicle while driving on Longeway Road.

SUNDAY

8:57 a.m., Sonora — Someone may have been poaching around Wards Ferry and Algerine roads.

9:42 a.m., Columbia — Six young cows were on Highway 49 by Wishing Well Lane. 

9:48 a.m., Sonora area — Two men claiming to be landscapers took pictures of a property and asked if they were at the judge’s house on the 19400 block of Mount Echo Road.

10:41 a.m. Twain Harte — A man said neighbor boys have been going onto his side of the property after the neighbors put a fence up, marking the property line, on the 18800 block of Middle Camp Road. He said they have an arsenal of BB guns and it’s like “little Syria,” when they come. 

12:20 p.m., Sonora — A woman said an old acquaintance has been stalking her on the 16600 block of Allison Way. 

1:17 p.m., Sonora area — A woman said her boyfriend tried to strangle her, punched her head and may have broken her wrist on the 15000 block of Lakeside Drive. She said he has been very violent for the past week and may have disconnected the phone earlier. 

2:28 p.m., Soulsbyville — A leaf blower was reported stolen from the 20600 block of Caylor Drive. 

3:12 p.m., East Sonora — Someone said a man he knew drove by and yelled obscenities at him on the 13800 block of Mono Way. He was advised to get a restraining order.

4:51 p.m., Groveland — A missing juvenile report was taken on the 18800 block of Foote Street. 

5:42 p.m., Long Barn — A homeless woman in her car and out of gas at Long Barn Road and Janice Way said someone in a bronze Subaru Legacy was “spinning brodies” around her car. 

6:12 p.m., East Sonora — A neighbor threatened a neighbor on suspicion of sleeping with his wife on the 14600 block of Stone Lane. 

6:27 p.m., Sonora area — Four reports came in of an explosion followed by black smoke around Zekarias Court and Morris Road.

Felony bookings

FRIDAY

1 p.m., Jamestown — Kari Lynn Folks, 40, of Iroula Way, Tracy, was booked on suspicion of bringing alcohol or drugs into a prison after an arrest at Sierra Conservation Center.

2:18 p.m., Twain Harte — Michael Joseph Ciabatti, 30, of the 22800 block of Blackhawk Drive, was booked on suspicion of possession of a narcotic and bringing alcohol or drugs into a prison or jail. An arrest location was not listed.

5:28 p.m., Tuolumne — Kenneth Leland Summers, 54, of the 18000 block of Main Street, was booked on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance after his arrest on the 19400 block of Tuolumne Road North.

7:23 p.m., Sonora — Jamison Robert Pritchard, 31, of an unknown address, was booked on suspicion of threatening with intent to terrorize and carrying a concealed knife or dagger after his arrest at Sonora Regional Medical Center.

SATURDAY

12:08 a.m., Sonora — Joshua Earl Caudill, 28, of the 18100 block of Sonoma Hills Lane, Sacramento, was booked on drug possession and multiple warrants after an arrest in the parking lot of a Mono Way restaurant.

12 p.m., Jamestown — Alicia Onofre Bobain, 29, of San Mateo Avenue, Stockton, was booked on suspicion of bringing alcohol or drugs into a prison or jail and sale of a controlled substance to a prisoner after her arrest at Sierra Conservation Center.

3:04 p.m., Twain Harte — Kathleen Mary Wright, 51, of the 17200 block of Apple Colony Road, Tuolumne, was booked on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor driving with a suspended license after an arrest on Twain Harte Drive and Hunts Road in Twain Harte.

4:07 p.m., Groveland area — Austin Kipp Brown, 19, of the 3400 block of Mokelumne Court, Modesto, was booked on suspicion of possession of a narcotic after his arrest on Cherry Lake Road near Highway 120.

10:31 p.m., Sonora — Tallena Nicole Hogland, 32, of the first block of West Linoberg Street, was booked on suspicion of willful infliction of corporal injury and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia after an arrest at her residence.

SUNDAY

7:13 p.m., Groveland area — Robert Gene Bryant, 70, of the 13600 block of Redhills Road, was booked on suspicion of marijuana possession for sale and marijuana transportation for sale after an arrest on Highway 120 and Cherry Lake Road.

7:13 p.m., Groveland area —Raylene Dawn Cooper, 43, of El Dorado, was booked on suspicion of drug possession after an arrest on Highway 120 and Cherry Lake Road.

2:46 p.m., Groveland — Michael Alan Robbins, 56, of the 6400 block of Greeley Hill Road, Coulterville, was arrested at the Miners Mart gas station on Highway 120.

SATURDAY

2:38 a.m., Sonora — Kirk Michael McClain, 21, of the 3300 block of Millwood Drive, Modesto, was arrested at Washington and Stockton streets.

3:49 p.m., Jamestown — Robert Michael Thalman, 57, of the 8300 block of French Flat Road, Jamestown, was arrested at Main Street and Donovan Street.

SUNDAY

7:53 p.m., Twain Harte — Carl Emerson Fisher, 58, of the 17200 block of Smokey River Drive, Sonora area, was booked after an arrest on Twain Harte Drive.

CALAVERAS COUNTY 

The Sheriff’s Department reported the following:

FRIDAY

9:28 a.m., Railroad Flat — Gunshots were reported at North Railroad Flat Road and Ridge Road.

10:19 a.m., Copperopolis — A burglary was reported on O’byrnes Ferry Road.

12:24 p.m., San Andreas — A group of youths were cited for smoking at  Turner Park.

1:50 p.m., Valley Springs — A woman said that a roommate who was moving out took items from her house while she was in the hospital.

4:17 p.m., San Andreas — A burglary was reported on Treat Avenue.

5:27 p.m., Murphys — A Tom Bell resident said a trolling motor and boat canvas were taken from the house.

5:30 p.m., Angels Camp — A minor injury traffic accident occurred on Highway 49, south of Cosgrave Road.

SATURDAY

6:45 a.m., Angels Camp — A horse was loose near Pool Station Road and Oak Valley Road.

9:53 a.m., Copperopolis — A large cow was on the highway at O’byrnes Ferry Road and Black Creek Drive. 

12:00 p.m., Arnold — Campers were reported to be trespassing at Blagen Road and White Pines Park.

5:52 p.m., Valley Springs — A fight occurred at Ricky Court.

6:09 p.m., Campo Seco — Sounds of shots and explosions were reported in the area of Arkansas Ferry Road and Campo Seco Road.

8:09 p.m., Valley Springs — A caller complained about loud offensive music at Heney Lane and Silver Rapids Road.

9:48 p.m., Valley Springs — A loud party went on for several days. The reporting party complained of music, hooting and hollering.

10:34 p.m., Arnold — Gunshots were heard near Wawona Way.

11:37 p.m., Murphys — A fight occurred at a Main Street hotel.

3:30 p.m., San Andreas — Anthony Paul Coffaney, 32, of the 17500 block of Shine Way, was booked on suspicion of inflicting corporal injury on a person and violation of parole after an arrest at Turner Park, on the 300 block of Treats Avenue. 

10:30 p.m., Arnold — Mark Norman Dantche, 44, of Avery, was booked on suspicion of drug possession and misdemeanor drug paraphernalia possession and giving false identification to an officer after an arrest on the 2400 block of Highway 4. 

SUNDAY

12:01 a.m., San Andreas — Jeff Dale Watters, 42, of the 5300 block of Hawver Road, was booked on suspicion of threatening crime with the intent to terrorize and misdemeanor battery, obstructing an officer and public intoxication after an arrest at his home.

8:20 p.m., Angels Camp — Peter Goddard Adam, 68, of Citrus Heights, was booked after an arrest on the 100 block of Selkirk Ranch Road.

12:25 a.m., San Andreas — Allen Lee Dubois, 42, of the 22500 block of Highway 26, West Point, was booked after an arrest at Mark Twain Hospital. 

9:55 p.m., San Andreas — Kevin Michael Savage, 27, of Elk Grove, was booked after an arrest on Highway 49 at Carol Kennedy Road.
