TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

MONDAY
    8:55 a.m., Tuolumne — Someone threw paint thinner on a woman’s truck parked on the 18600 block of Valley View Court.
    12:09 p.m., Sonora area — Someone reported the theft of two seized up motorcycle engines and two fenders from a business on the 14900 block of Tuolumne Road.
    2:13 p.m., Sonora area — A person on the 18300 block of Hatler Drive reported that a neighbor had several rifles stolen from him.
    5:13 p.m., Sonora area — A woman from the 19400 block of Hess Avenue reported medication may have been stolen from her.

TUESDAY
    5:48 a.m., Tuolumne — Two men were reported in the Black Oak Casino parking garage possibly doing drugs in their vehicle. They reportedly then left the area on Tuolumne Road North, going towards Tuolumne.

Arrests

    Cited on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs:

MONDAY
    3:47 a.m., Sonora area  —  Douglas Alan Yates, 30, unknown residence, was arrested on Highway 49 at Mount Brow Road.
    8:55 p.m., Sonora area  —  Mark James Spillers, 44, of the 20600 block of Adams Court, Soulsbyville, was arrested in a parking lot at Restano and Mono ways.

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

MONDAY
    8:01 a.m., drug paraphernalia  —  A syringe was found in Coffill Park on South Washington Street. Officers retrieved the syringe and took it to Sonora police headquarters for disposal.
    1:01 p.m., suspicious circumstances  —  A man was arrested for probation violations after being found unconscious on a bench in front of a store on Mono Way. He reportedly said he had been partying for several days.
    3:42 p.m., theft  —  A theft occurred at a business on the 100 block of South Washington Street.

CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

 MONDAY
    7:53 a.m., Mokelumne Hill —A gun was reported stolen on Jesus Maria Road.
    8:21 a.m., Valley Springs —A citation was issued to someone who was caught stealing a book from the book fair at Toyon Middle School on Double Springs Road.
    5:35 p.m., Wallace — Theft from a home was reported on Whalen Road.
