The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:


10:01 a.m., San Andreas — A man reported his ex-girlfriend was taking things without permission from a property on Lewis Avenue.

12:36 p.m., Arnold — Someone reportedly cut open a screen window to get into a living room on Green Meadow Court.

4:13 p.m., Copperopolis — A man and woman were both arrested on local warrants on the 25500 block of Arrowhead Street. The man was also arrested on a fresh suspicion of battery charge. 

5:21 p.m., Angels Camp — Theft was reported on the 3000 block of Highway 49. 

Felony bookings:


12:01 a.m., Copperopolis — Stacey Marie Near, 42, of the 100 block of Bridle Point Circle, was booked on suspicion of drug possession and misdemeanor drug paraphernalia possession after an arrest at O’Byrnes Ferry Road and Sanguinetti Court. 

11:42 a.m., Angels Camp — Cathryn Lesli Walter, 39, of the 400 block of San Joaquin Avenue, was booked on suspicion of drug possession and misdemeanor driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol and being under the influence of drugs after an arrest at her home.


The Sonora Police Department reported the following:


11:47 a.m., traffic accident — Officers responded to a traffic accident on the 300 block of South Washington Street. Someone was taken to the hospital in an ambulance because of leg and back pain.

12:50 p.m., weapons violations — Someone reported a skinny man with a backwards hat carrying a rifle walking around East Lyons Street and Greenley Road. He was not found.

5:48 p.m., theft — A wallet was reported stolen at a business on the 1100 block of Mono Way. 

6:11 p.m., burglary — Several items were reported stolen from a garage sometime in the past week on North Shepherd Street.

6:19 p.m., animal complaints — A Chihuahua ran in the road around the 1000 block of Mono Way.

6:27 p.m., suspicious circumstances — Someone reported a woman screaming out of a window on Mono Way. Officers determined the woman was yelling for a Chihuahua in the street. 

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:


8:37 a.m., Twain Harte — A woman was arrested on a local warrant on the 20000 block of Davis Flat Road.

9:13 a.m., Columbia — A lock closing off an access road to Howser Lane has been cut twice near the 22200 block of Parrotts Ferry Road — once in the past few days and once in June, the caller said.

9:36 a.m., Jamestown — A woman said two of her tires were slashed Tuesday night between 10:07 p.m. and 10:35 p.m. at a business on the 16900 block of Chicken Ranch Road.

12:36 p.m., Sonora area — A man said 27 8-milligram buprenorphine pills were taken from his home on the 19000 block of Canaan Court. He said he had a party early this month.

1:36 p.m., Tuolumne — A man said his mother tried to kill him by neglect by not providing medical care for him in 2005 on the 19800 block of Tuolumne Road North. 

8:42 p.m., Sonora area — A bear was reported in a yard on the 17600 block of Yosemite Road.

9:14 p.m., Sonora area — A bear was reported in a yard on the 17700 block of Yosemite Road.

Felony bookings:


5:27 p.m., Sonora — Katrina Marie Guthrey, 23, of the 400 block of Greenley Road, was booked on suspicion of drug possession and a local warrant after an arrest at her home.
