TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

FRIDAY
    3:34 p.m., Jamestown  — Two people reported they saw a man walking his dog near Main Street at Highway 108 who was yelling at and kicking the animal. The man said the dog had lunged toward traffic and he had to yank the dog’s leash multiple times to get it to calm down. The incident was referred to Tuolumne County Animal Control.
    3:36 p.m., East Sonora — A person said a suspicious man driving a white van was parked in front of a residence on 20000 block of Mechanical Drive, and was watching the person’s 9-year-old daughter jumping rope in the driveway. The van left when the person attempted to make contact with the driver.
    5:30 p.m., Soulsbyville — A woman said her residence on the 19000 block of Soulsbyville Road had been burglarized and a toolbox was stolen.
    7:01 p.m., Sonora area — A man from the 22000 block of Conklin Trail reported that four people had stolen 15 plants of medical marijuana from his residence and were selling it. Two people were arrested on suspicion of the crime but no marijuana was found.
    11:14 p.m., Groveland — A man reported his residence on the 12000 block of Jackson Mill Drive had been burglarized within the past month and that burglars had entered through his patio door.

 SATURDAY
    3:15 a.m., Tuolumne — A man said he found about two grams of methamphetamine on a sidewalk outside of the Black Oak Casino on the 19000 block of Tuolumne Road North. Officers booked the drugs for destruction.
    12:37 p.m., Columbia — A man reported his daughter was almost bit by two dachshunds on long stretch leashes being walked by a man who was reportedly uncooperative. The call was transferred to Tuolumne County Animal Control.
    1:08 p.m., Jamestown area — People in a white Ford pickup reportedly dumped an old bedframe, headboard and mattress on the side of the road on the 12000 block of Jacksonville Road.
    8:25 p.m., Sonora area — A woman from the 15000 block of Ridgewood Drive reported her two 8-month-old black Labrador retriever puppies ran away. One was wearing a black color and the other a light blue and orange collar and neither had tags.
    9:08 p.m., Twain Harte — A woman reported her coat, iPhone, keys, ID and $57 had been stolen after she left the items behind the bar at a restaurant on the 22000 block of Twain Harte Drive. She suspects the thief also used the keys to gain access to her home and take a shower, but no items from her home were missing.

 SUNDAY
    12:21 p.m., Twain Harte — A man reported a burglary to his vacation residence on the 22000 block of Fuller Road. Valuable items were taken including a motorcycle that was locked in the garage.
    1:45 p.m., Groveland — People were reportedly filming their friend in a pickup truck running into and driving over another vehicle in a driveway on the 12000 block of Homestead Road. No crime was reported because the incident occurred on private property and no one seemed upset, according to dispatch logs.
    5:26 p.m., Sonora area — A person reported that a man in his late 90s was trespassing and panning for gold on the person’s property on Algerine Wards Ferry Road.
 9:05 p.m., East Sonora — Burglars reportedly cut the fence of the PG&E substation on Industrial Drive and stole wire.
   
The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

FRIDAY
    1:40 p.m., animal complaints — A medium-size yellow dog was reportedly trying to attack a female mail carrier on East Pasadena Avenue.
    7:53 p.m., public intoxication — Two men who were reportedly intoxicated walked into a restaurant on South Washington Street and seated themselves, ignoring the host who told them there was a waiting list. They refused to leave at first but then went to a bar next door. One of them was arrested for disorderly conduct involving alcohol.

 SATURDAY
    2:03 p.m., disorderly conduct — A person reported seeing two men approach another man near a business on South Washington Street and begin a verbal dispute. One of the two men then pushed the other man down in the parking lot. Officers were unable to locate any of the reported people involved.

 SUNDAY
    6:34 p.m., controlled substances — A person reported seeing a man near the emergency room of Sonora Regional Medical Center light a marijuana cigarette. Officers were unable to locate anyone.

 FRIDAY
    2:10 p.m., Sonora area — Daniel Tracy Butler, 61, of the 16000 block of Sallander Drive, was arrested on Mono Way at Elsey Court.
 8:52 p.m., Twain Harte — Kenneth Lynn Ervin, 63, of the 21000 block of Crystal Falls Drive, was arrested on Highway 108 near Twain Harte Drive.

 SATURDAY
    1:51 a.m., East Sonora — William Dewayne Glover, 30, of the 10000 block of Eighth Street, Jamestown, was arrested on Highway 108 west of Via Este Road.
    2:30 a.m., Twain Harte — Patrick Oliver Hickie, 29, of the 17000 block of Smokey River Drive, Sonora, was arrested on Twain Harte Drive at Ponderosa Drive.
    8:56 p.m., Jamestown — Kimberly Suzanne Grech, 24, of the 100 block of Mandalay Place, South San Francisco, was arrested on the 19000 block of Rawhide Road.
    9:03 p.m., Jamestown — Ashley Leanne Grech, 27, of the 1000 block of North Point Street, San Francisco, was arrested on Eighth Street at Fifth Avenue.

 SUNDAY
    1:56 a.m., East Sonora — Dennis John Fernandes, 43, of the 21000 block of Fortuna Mine Road, was arrested near The Junction shopping center on Mono Way.
    10:01 p.m., East Sonora — Billy Dan Andrews, 18, of an unknown residence in Twain Harte, was arrested near the corner of Industrial and Commercial drives.

Felony bookings

FRIDAY
    3:57 p.m., Sonora area — Stephen Michael Kistner, 33, of the 23000 block of Marble Quarry Road, Columbia, was booked on suspicion of burglary and receiving known stolen property, after an arrest on the 100 block of Cowan Street.
    9:41 p.m., Sonora area — Marco Antonio Villa, 31, of the 3000 block of Redwood Road, Ceres, was booked on suspicion of threatening a crime with the intent to terrorize, after an arrest on Columbia Way.


CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

FRIDAY
    11:24 a.m., Valley Springs  — Grand theft was reported at a drive-through coffee shop on Mangili Road.
    1 p.m., Wallace — Fraud was reported on Wallace Lake Drive.
    1:35 p.m., West Point — A burglary was reported on Highway 26.
   
 SATURDAY
    2:21 p.m., Murphys — Gun shots were heard near Murphys Historic Hotel on Main Street.
    3:23 p.m., Arnold — Gun shots were heard near the intersection of Mustang Road and Thunderbolt Trail.
    11:37 a.m., Arnold — A burglary was reported on Kit Carson Circle.
    12:25 p.m., West Point — A trespassing was reported on Bald Mountain Road.
    3:15 p.m., Valley Springs — Gun shots were heard near Baldwin Street.
    3:40 p.m., Mokelumne Hill — A vandalism was reported on Center Street.
   
 SUNDAY
    11:15 a.m., Arnold — Vandalism was reported on Circle Court.
    11:44 a.m., Valley Springs — Gun shots were heard near Almond Drive.
    12:56 p.m., Valley Springs — Someone attempted to steal fuel on McAtee Street.
    1:16 p.m., Murphys — Someone attempted to break into a residence on Apple Blossom Drive.
    5:42 p.m., San Andreas — Gun shots were heard near the intersection of Mountain Ranch and Willow Creek roads.
    5:43 p.m., Copperopolis — Gun shots were heard near the intersection of Pinon Drive and Quill Road.
 6:40 p.m., Murphys — Gun shots were heard near Vineyard Terrace Court.
