The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

10:58 a.m., West Point — Someone was trespassing and cutting down trees on Higdon Road.

1:27 p.m., Milton — A water tank was stolen on Milton Road.

12:11 p.m., Valley Springs — Amanda Rose Solo, 24, of the 60 block of Daphne Street, was booked on suspicion of child cruelty, after an arrest on the 60 block of Laurel Street. She was also booked on suspicion of a misdemeanor charge of being under the influence of a drugs. 


Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol:


9:58 p.m., Valley Springs — William Eugene Foraker, 51, of the 1200 block of Valley Springs, was booked after an arrest at Daphne and Myrtle streets. 


The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:


8:49 a.m., Groveland — A child-molestation report was taken on the 18800 block of Highway 120. 

11:01 a.m., Tuolumne — Teenagers were trespassing on the Westside property behind Summerville High School. Marijuana and a fire were found at the scene.

12:02 p.m., Soulsbyville — A woman claimed her neighbor on the 21000 block of Oman Drive shot her dog with a pellet gun and that it has happened before. 

12:45 p.m., Sonora area — A woman suspected someone slept in her unlocked car on the 24000 block of Bear Clover Court because the seat had been pushed back and she found a pack of cigarettes nearby. Nothing was taken or vandalized. 

1:27 p.m., Don Pedro — A bathroom at the Blue Oaks Campground on Bonds Flat Road was vandalized. 

7:23 p.m., Columbia — A truck crashed into a gate on the 22600 block of Quail Valley Road after racing up and down someone’s driveway. The driver got loose from the gate after being stuck and raced up and down the road, then turned onto Big Hill Road.

7:54 p.m., Tuolumne — A man was digging through the trash inside the Tuolumne City Post Office and pulled out envelopes.

8:33 p.m., Sonora area — A woman’s medication and belongings were taken from her tent at a homeless camp near Mono Way.

9 p.m., Jamestown — People under 21 were drinking at a residence on the 10200 block of Preston Lane. The homeowner, a parent of one of the kids, was detained. The kids were all released with warnings. 

11:55 p.m., Mi-Wuk Village — An intoxicated man walked into a home on the 20600 block of Hekeke Lane while the residents were hauling wood into the home. He left when the residents told him to get out and was found at a neighbor’s house where residents said they would take care of him.

10:01 p.m., Sonora area — John Albert Miller, 32, of the 22400 block of Colorado River Drive, was booked on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, after an arrest on the 16900 block of Tehachapi Court. He was also booked on suspicion of misdemeanor charges of possession of marijuana and controlled substance paraphernalia and receiving known stolen property. 

10:01 p.m., Sonora area — Crystal Diane Morganelli, 24, of Sonora, was booked on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, after an arrest on the 16900 block of Tehachapi Court. She was also booked on suspicion of a misdemeanor charge of possession of controlled substance paraphernalia. 


Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs:


12:49 a.m., Jamestown — Adrianna Lee Hess, 19, of the 16600 block of Creekside Drive in Sonora, was booked after an arrest near Highway 108 and Mill Villa Road.

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:


7:28 a.m., disorderly conduct — A woman was yelling at a tree in front of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church on Bradford Avenue. 

11:28 a.m., vandalism — A man saw people pour some kind of substance all over his vehicle on Wyckoff Street.

2:14 p.m., fraud — Someone forged two checks and cashed them at Wells Fargo Bank on Mono Way. 

3:25 p.m., found property — A large white bag filled with copper wire was found in a bush  on the 100 block of South Stewart Street.
