The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:
SUNDAY 10:42 a.m., Valley Springs — People were hunting turkeys with a crossbow on a Garner Place property. 11:41 a.m., Glencoe — A fence to a property on Improbability Drive was cut and the residence was burglarized. 2:38 p.m., Vallecito — A vehicle was vandalized at Sutton Enterprises on Canepa Lane. Windows and a light were broken. 3:12 p.m., Rail Road Flat — Someone was taking items from a property on Rayjen Lane while people were moving out. 5:06 p.m., Wallace — Battery was reported on Ospital Road.
MONDAY 9:44 a.m., Mountain Ranch — A residence on Vista Way was burglarized. 11:26 a.m., Valley Springs — Two men left Patti Campbell’s Country Kitchen on Highway 12 without paying. 3:48 p.m., Arnold — A burglary was reported at a residence on Patricia Lane. 3:59 p.m., Avery — An intoxicated person was arrested after shooting a turkey at Calaveras Timber Trails Park on Avery Sheep Ranch Road. 5:38 p.m., San Andreas — A residence on Pixley Avenue was burglarized.

MONDAY 1:26 a.m., Jenny Lind — Charles Arthur McCarthy, 52, of the 11000 block of Milton Road, was booked on suspicion of threatening to commit a crime with intent to terrorize, after an arrest at his home. He was also booked on suspicion of a misdemeanor charge of drunk and disorderly conduct.
TUOLUMNE COUNTY
The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:
MONDAY 5:38 a.m., La Grange — A vehicle rolled off the side of the road on the 3300 block of Highway 132. 6:33 a.m., Groveland — A handgun was stolen from a pickup truck on the 22000 block of Hells Hollow Road. 7:50 a.m., Jamestown — Gas was stolen from rental trucks at Pine Alley Rentals on Jamestown Road. 11:21 a.m., Sonora area — A fraudulent check for $15,698 was written to the Apple Store using a Sonora man’s bank information. 1:21 p.m., Jamestown — A man went into a business on the 18000 block of Seco Street and said someone forged his signature on paperwork. 4:23 p.m., Columbia — People have been vandalizing a property on the 21000 block of Parrotts Ferry Road with BB guns and baseball bats. An antique car on the property was damaged.
The Sonora Police Department reported the following:
MONDAY 10:10 a.m., suspicious circumstances — Two men and one woman, all dressed in military-style fatigues, were kickboxing and slap fighting on the 1000 block of Mono Way. 1:11 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A red Chevy Astro was chasing a gold Ford Crown Victoria around a parking lot in the 1100 block of Sanguinetti Road. It appeared the Crown Vic was trying to leave but was being prevented by the van. 3:16 p.m., burglary — Theft of a flat screen TV and laptop computer was reported on East Lyons Street. 3:23 p.m., graffiti — A landscape wall on an Oakside Drive property was vandalized with graffiti. 10:51 p.m., traffic accident — A woman’s neighbor backed into her vehicle. The neighbor refused to speak to the woman about the accident and challenged her to a fight.

12:46 a.m., Sonora area — Herondina Maria Pinheiro-Sias, 52, of the 8400 block of Enterprise Drive, Jamestown, was booked on suspicion of possession of drugs and violation of probation, after an arrest on the 500 block of Shaws Flat Road. |
