11:59 a.m., Willow Springs A woman on the 20000 block of Willow Springs Drive said a man driving a black Pontiac Grand Prix threatened to kill her son after her son threatened to kill the man. She said she wanted to report it in case one of the two men or she was found dead.
4:11 p.m., Cold Springs A Cold Springs Market employee said an elderly man who appeared to be disoriented was sitting in front of the store.
5:59 p.m., Twain Harte A man on the 22600 block of Confidence Road said the house had been vandalized, possibly by a former renter.
6:08 p.m., Twain Harte A caller said a fight between several people in front of a CDF station on Joaquin Gully Road was escalating.
10:42 p.m., Columbia A woman said the driver of a red van was parked in the Columbia Elementary School parking lot on Parrotts Ferry Road with its lights on for over 45 minutes.
1:30 a.m., Sonora area Nicole Michelle Moore, 26, 20200 block of Cripple Hill Road, Sonora, booked on suspicion of possessing and transporting a destructive device after an arrest on Sanguinetti Road at Old Wards Ferry Road.
According to a sheriff's department report, a deputy stopped Moore, who was driving a car matching a description of one Sonora police were seeking. When the deputy stopped Moore, he said, he found an explosive device. Sgt. Bob Bogolea, a bomb expert, was asked to look at it. Bogolea said the device was a small, homemade pistol casing filled with explosive powder with a cannon-type fuse.
Moore remained jailed this morning in lieu of $50,000 bail.
11:38 a.m., Sonora A 32-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of felony spousal battery and unlawful possession of ammunition after an arrest at his home. He remained held this morning in lieu of $75,000 bail.
2 a.m., Sonora A 58-year-old Sonora man was booked on suspicion of felony spousal battery after an arrest at his home. The man's wife came to the sheriff's department to say her husband kicked her out of the house and head-butted her.
He remained held this morning in lieu of $35,000 bail.
