TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

FRIDAY

8:26 a.m., animal complaints — Someone called police to complain that property owners on South Washington Street are not cleaning up after their dog at the location.

1:15 p.m., disorderly conduct — Three youths on a scooter and a bike reportedly got into an altercation in front of a Sanguinetti Road business.

2:07 p.m., public peace  — A man was screaming and slamming a pay phone in a Sanguinetti Road shopping center.

3:27 p.m., assault — A man appearing to be angry was seen punching telephone poles and yelling at passing motorists on South Stewart Street.

4:01 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A man who appeared to be passed out was seen inside a vehicle on Fairview Lane. Officers were unable to locate the man upon arrival.

5:36 p.m., controlled substances — A possible drug sale was reported at a Greenley Road apartment complex.

7:47 p.m., traffic accident — An accident occurred on West Stockton Road involving a vehicle and bicycle.

10:17 p.m., public peace — Youths were reportedly setting off an air horn near Greenley Road.

SATURDAY

9:05 a.m., traffic accident — No injuries were reported after a rollover accident on East Jackson Street.

2:01 p.m., theft — A man appeared to be attempting to steal wood pallets from behind a Mono Way business.

2:49 p.m., controlled substances — A woman was reportedly smoking marijuana in a restroom at Sonora Regional Medical Center.

10:46 p.m., public peace — A noise complaint was made on South Barretta Street with a resident being disruptive to the neighbors.

SUNDAY

12:22 p.m., traffic accidents — A 68-year-old man was cited on suspicion of misdemeanor hit-and-run after allegedly hitting a parked vehicle with his vehicle and leaving the scene on Sanguinetti Road.

3:10 p.m., vandalism/property damage — The front window of a business on Mono Way was broken out.

5:45 p.m., traffic accidents — Someone reported the possible theft of a wrought iron fence on Bonanza Road. Patrol officers later determined an attempted theft had not occurred, but a misdemeanor hit-and-run likely had. The person did not request a crime report.

9:27 p.m., public intoxication — A 39-year-old woman and 28-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of public intoxication after they were reported being disruptive behind a business on South Washington Street.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

FRIDAY

10:58 a.m., Sonora area — A domestic dispute between two parents and their son took place on Greenoaks Court.

11:14 a.m., Sonora area — The owner of a car wash on North Sunshine Road called police to report that a man has been dumping garbage at the business for the past year.

12:32 p.m., Tuolumne — A teenage boy continued to sneak into the library on Main Street despite being told to leave, with witnesses describing the boy as menacing.

12:48 p.m., Columbia — A person reportedly damaged a planter on Gold Springs Drive and stole a copy of the Book of Mormon from the property.

1:33 p.m., Sonora area — A man on Brook Drive reported a possible online scam in which someone claiming to be an online loan requires security deposits. The man reportedly gave $250 and $292 for deposits on separate loans that never came through.

2:27 p.m., Twain Harte — A small fire was reported in a Tiffeni Drive building.

3:34 p.m., Twain Harte — A blue bicycle that possibly had been stolen was found in Eproson Park.

5:17 p.m., Columbia — A woman called police after receiving calls from neighbors that people were trespassing on her Red Clay Road property.

5:19 p.m., Sonora area — A man was reportedly harassing customers at a Mono Way gas station.

11:13 p.m., Sonora area — A loud party was reported by multiple neighbors on Fraguero Road.

SATURDAY

12:22 a.m., Groveland — People argued after a motor vehicle accident on Clements Road.

11:35 a.m., Tuolumne — A burglary was reported on Zeni Lane, with various mechanics tools reportedly taken overnight.

12:56 p.m., Tuolumne — A man was involved in a dispute with tribal security.

3:07 p.m., Jamestown — Multiple people in a pickup truck were seen dumping trash on Ninth Avenue.

3:18 p.m., Long Barn — A man accidentally shot himself in the lower leg and was picked up at a Highway 108 restaurant.

4:25 p.m., Tuolumne — A man was seen lying face down in an empty field. He was gone when police arrived.

6:03 p.m., Sonora area — A small fire occurred in a microwave at a Lambert Lake Road residence.

6:45 p.m., Jamestown — Two men were seen fighting in a parking lot on Highway 108.

7:08 p.m., Jamestown — A man got stuck in a tree on Tulloch Road when a lift broke while he was attempting to trim the tree.

7:08 p.m., Sonora area — A vehicle accident with unknown injuries took place at Hunts Road and Longeway Road.

7:35 p.m., Sonora area — A loud party took place on Crystal Falls Drive. Reporting parties told police that a bonfire was lit and claimed some of the attendees appeared underage.

SUNDAY

1:37 a.m., Twain Harte — A man caused a disturbance on Marquis Drive, reportedly threatening other nearby residents.

9:02 a.m., Sonora area — A box of checks addressed to a person’s son was stolen from a mailbox on the 20200 block of Sommette Drive.

9:51 a.m., Sonora area — A small deer ran into a fence on the 21800 block of Lyons Bald Mountain Road and broke its back. It was put down.

11:02 a.m., Tuolumne — A man was found dead, face down in a field at Tuolumne Road North and Carter Street. It was determined that he died from natural causes.

12:35 p.m., Twain Harte — Someone said a woman dropped off two boys, each about 4 or 5 years old, at Eproson Park during a girl’s birthday party. The person calling didn’t know the kids or the woman, who told the caller, “You’re in charge of them now,” and left on foot. Sheriff’s deputies arrived and located the boys’ babysitter, who was sitting at the park on a bench the entire time. No further action was taken.

1:16 p.m., Tuolumne — A man said his neighbor, on the 16700 block of Apple Colony Road, was shooting a high-powered rifle while intoxicated and also got into his vehicle and spun out on his property while throwing rocks at his horses.

3:42 pm., Sonora — Michael Christopher Didion, 32, of the 1200 block of Chukar Circle, Sonora, was booked on suspicion of resisting a peace officer, battery of a peace officer and obstructing or resisting an executive officer after his arrest at 420 South Washington St.

SATURDAY

8:31 a.m., Sonora — Brian Joseph Bockert, 36, of the 14000 block of Lolly Lane, Sonora, was booked on suspicion of transporting or selling a controlled substance and possessing a controlled substance after an arrest on South Barretta Street.

7:01 p.m., Sonora area — Vincent Rodriguez Garcia Jr., 59, of the 600 block of Ferndale Lane, Manteca, was booked on suspicion of DUI causing bodily injury after an arrest on Tuolumne Road.

SUNDAY

11:25 a.m., Tuolumne — Kellia Mariel Howard, 26, of the 1400 block of Organ Street, Modesto, was booked on suspicion of burglary and identity theft, after an arrest on the 19500 block of Mi Wu Street.

7:42 p.m., Sonora area — Ryan Anthony Reyes, 31, or the 2100 block of Phoenix Lake Road, was booked after an arrest on Hunts Road at Longeway Road.

9:02 p.m., Jamestown — Ronnie Dean Guice, 55, of the 3200 block of Tim Bell Road, Empire, was arrested at Highway 108 and Chabroullian Road.

CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

FRIDAY

10:04 a.m., Valley Springs — A man was reportedly exposing himself on the side of the road at Hogan Dam Road and Highway 26, but deputies and rangers were unable to locate him when they arrived.

10:22 a.m., Valley Springs — A fight was reported between a landlord and tenant on Botfuher Road.

11:28 a.m., Wallace — A fight reportedly took place on Cormorant Drive over a dog barking.

2:10 p.m., Mountain Ranch — An assault was reported as well as an attack by a dog.

3:26 p.m., Mountain Ranch — Multiple reports were made of a possible fire on Live Oak Lane.

5:41 p.m., Valley Springs — A group of five or six juveniles were reportedly trespassing at Valley Springs Elementary School skateboarding on the property.

6:17 p.m., Valley Springs — Three people were reportedly seen on skateboards at a Highway 12 business doing damage.

6:28 p.m., Mountain Ranch — Someone called police to report neighbors throwing branches on her property and threatening to shoot her dog after she complained.

10:52 p.m., Valley Springs — A resident on Botfuher Road reported cars and motorcycles racing up and down the road and called it an ongoing issue.

SATURDAY

7:52 a.m., Copperopolis — A boat was reported stolen on Sanguinetti Court.

1:17 p.m., Valley Springs — A vegetation fire was reported on McCauley Road.

3:18 p.m., Arnold — Valuables were reported stolen from a Highway 4 restaurant.

6:27 p.m., Wilseyville — Multiple people were reportedly squatting on a Blue Mountain Road property.

SUNDAY

1:29 A.M., San Andreas, — A woman and two men were reportedly drunk in public on Pope Street.

7:18 a.m., Valley Springs — Residents on Cane Lane and Limestone Drive reported a large black bull loose on their properties.

8:15 a.m., Valley Springs — A large black bull was in a yard of a residence on Cane Lane, crushing plants and vegetation.

1:02 p.m., San Andreas — Someone heard gunshots on Calaveritas Road.

2:13 p.m., Camp Connell — Gunshots were heard around Highway 4.

2:48 p.m., Arnold — Someone saw a suspicious person on Highway 4.

2:53 p.m., West Point — A theft occurred on Meadow View Road.

MONDAY

12:18 a.m., Valley Springs — Someone was walking a dog on Pine Street and heard a sound like a falling crow bar coming from Valley Springs Elementary School.

2:37 a.m., San Andreas — A man was standing in the middle of the road spinning in circles with his arms out at the intersection of Highway 12 and Central Hill Road.

1:10 p.m., Valley Springs — David Pinkney Sayle IV, 28, of the 3500 block of Davis Drive, Burson, was booked on suspicion of drug possession and possession of concentrated marijuana, after an arrest on the 200 block of Rose Street.

3:32 p.m., Mountain Ranch — Bryan Gavin Montgomery, 56, of the 8700 block of East Murray Creek Road, was booked on suspicion of battery causing injury, after an arrest on the 8700 block of East Murray Creek Road.

9:40 p.m., Angels Camp — Cherree Misty Lee, 35, of the 300 block of Tuolumne Avenue, was booked on suspicion of transporting drugs and drug possession, after an arrest on the 300 block of Main Street.

SATURDAY

7:49 p.m., Copperopolis — Tracy Lynne Sinclair, 45, of the 100 block of Copper Cove Drive, was booked on suspicion of drug possession, after an arrest on the 100 block of Cosmic Court.
