TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

FRIDAY
    8:25 a.m., Columbia —A gate light was vandalized on the 22600 block of Upper Quail Mine Road.
    10:52 a.m., Sonora area — A man on Campo Seco Road at Pradera Real Road told a deputy he drank three energy drinks to help him deal with mental issues.
    11:05 a.m., Sonora area — A large light was thrown through a business window on the 18800 block of Microtronics Way.
    12:27 p.m., Sonora area —A mailbox was vandalized on the 15800 block of Curtis Circle.
    1:52 p.m., Jamestown —A man said he was jumped by several other people on Seco Street at Main Street.
    8:58 p.m., East Sonora — A business was broken into but nothing stolen on the 13900 block of Mono Way.
    11:24 p.m., Twain Harte — A person was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication and another taken to the hospital due to their intoxication level while at a bar on the 22900 block of Twain Harte Drive.

SATURDAY
    12:59 a.m., Twain Harte — A man declined to press charges against someone who hit him in the face on the 22900 block of Twain Harte Drive.
    2:26 a.m., Twain Harte — A deputy located heroin on a person after a traffic stop and a passenger admitted to using cocaine on the 22900 block of Twain Harte Drive.
    9:36 a.m., Tuolumne — A woman on the 17000 block of Apple Colony Road said someone stole nine handmade painted wooden signs put up around town, including in The Junction, Standard Park and on Woodhams Carne Road.
    10:48 a.m., East Sonora — A man said his wallet and cell phone were stolen from a gym locker on the 13700 block of Mono Way.
    11:25 a.m., Twain Harte — A woman on the 22900 block of Huckleberry Lane said she scared off three possible burglars with a gun. She was advised to call law enforcement first next time.
 12:38 p.m., Tuolumne — A woman on the 19300 block of Cherokee Lane said someone broke into their camp trailer and drank about 10 beers and broke a window.
 1:19 p.m., Sonora area — A chain saw was stolen from a shed on the 21700 block of Hunts Road.
    1:33 p.m., East Sonora — Medication was reportedly stolen on the 19400 block of Hess Avenue.
    4:25 p.m., Tuolumne — An 18-year-old man and 16-year-old boy admitted they tried to enter a home on the 19500 block of Mira Monte Road but left once the burglar alarm sounded. A deputy talked to them and told their parents about it. The homeowner did not want to press charges.
    4:53 p.m., Tuolumne — A woman on Carter Street at Cemetery Lane said she pepper sprayed her neighbor’s dog after tried to attack her for the third time.
    7:19 p.m., Columbia — A woman said she was assaulted on the 22800 block of Bigler Street.
    11:20 p.m., Jamestown area — A woman said she and her friend were jumped by several other women “dressed as strippers” at a bar on the 14400 block of Highway 108. She said their purses were stolen. Deputies were unable to locate the items and patrons and staff said they did not take the purses.

SUNDAY
    10:35 a.m., Sonora area — A woman said another woman assaulted her with a coffee cup on the 11900 block of Campo Seco Road.
    10:39 a.m., Groveland — A man said his medication was stolen during a family weekend on the 20100 block of Pine Mountain Drive.
    2:48 p.m., Soulsbyville — A man reported a $500 red ceramic wood stove was stolen on the 20400 block of Hazel Avenue.
    4:31 p.m., Jamestown — A woman said her home on the 18100 block of Seco Street was ransacked but nothing stolen.
    9:08 p.m., Cedar Ridge — A patient at Sonora Regional Medical Center on Greenley Road in Sonora reported a sexual assault that happened somewhere in Cedar Ridge.
    9:15 p.m., Sonora area — A man on the 20200 block of Stanislaus Avenue said someone egged his house.
    11:07 p.m., Sonora —A mountain lion ran in front of a deputy’s patrol vehicle on the 21800 block of Shaws Flat Road.

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

FRIDAY
    8:23 a.m., suspicious circumstances —A woman reportedly threatened to go to a bank on the 100 block of West Stockton Road with guns.
    12:34 p.m., theft —A man said his mother’s hot tub was stolen on William Street.
    3:28 p.m., theft —A woman reported her camera stolen on the 400 block of North Washington Street.
    7:43 p.m., assault —A 29-year-old man was arrested on the 100 block of Stockton Road after allegedly pulling a knife on someone.

SATURDAY
    12:46 a.m., fight — A bar fight was reported on South Washington Street.
    9:23 a.m., theft — A woman on Linoberg Street said her computer was stolen.
    4:38 p.m., vandalism — Cars were egged on South Washington Street.
    5:35 p.m., burglary — A man and woman were arrested at a jewelry store on South Washington Street.

SUNDAY
    6:41 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A woman said a man wearing a black bandana over his face came up behind her vehicle and started hitting the trunk on North Norlin Street.

Fire calls

THURSDAY
    3:26 p.m., Crystal Falls — Cal Fire units from Twain Harte responded to a vegetation fire on the 21000 block of Rogue River Drive. The escaped debris burned a spot of grass and the incident was closed at 4:35 p.m.

SUNDAY
    9:02 p.m., Groveland — Groveland firefighters responded to a smoke check on Ferretti Road. A quarter acre of grass burned, but no cause has been determined. It burned a woodpile next to a structure that wasn't damaged.

    12:42 p.m., Sonora — Elizabeth Espinoza Morehead, 64, of the 17000 block of Blackbird Lane, arrested on South Washington Street.

 THURSDAY
    2:24 a.m., Twain Harte — Amanda Lynn Clark, 28, of the 9500 block of Rim Rock Road, Sonora, arrested on Highway 108 west of East Avenue.
    7:45 p.m., Jamestown area —Katherine Fretwell, 62, of Auburn, arrested on Highway 49 at Rawhide Road.
    8:20 p.m., Tuolumne — Benjamin Alonzo Liscano, 29, of Modesto, arrested on Morris Road at Tuolumne Road.

FRIDAY
    6:34 p.m., Sonora — Jonathan Philip Risell, 45, of the 22900 block of Tuolumne Road North, Twain Harte, arrested on Hospital Way at South Washington Street.
    7:54 p.m., Sonora area — John Gary Robles, 49, of the 18600 block of Mother Lode Drive, Twain Harte, arrested on Mono Way at Tuolumne Road.
    8:40 p.m., Twain Harte — Barbara Diane Jacobsohn, 68, of the 20700 block of Crestwood Court, Sonora, arrested on Highway 108 at Twain Harte Drive.
    11:41 p.m., Willow Springs —Daniel Ray Thompson, 23, of the 20800 block of Lynn Lane, Sonora, arrested on Willow Springs Drive.

 SATURDAY
    1:32 a.m., Twain Harte — Kerri Lynn Kimbrough, 45, of Martinez, arrested on Golf Club Drive at Sonora Drive.
    10:18 p.m., Tuolumne area — Brandon Drew Gundert, 24, of Washington, arrested on Tuolumne Road at Eagle Ridge Road.

Felony bookings

WEDNESDAY
    3:56 a.m., Sonora  —Eric Allen Wright, 30, of Stockton, booked on suspicion of burglary and misdemeanor possession of burglary tools, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a hypodermic needle, disorderly conduct and obstructing an officer, after an arrest on the 600 block of South Washington Street.

 THURSDAY
    3:01 a.m., Twain Harte —Joshua Steven Hoyt, 24, transient, booked on suspicion of possession of a dangerous weapon and misdemeanor disorderly conduct, after an arrest on Joaquin Gully Road at Twain Harte Drive.
    4:57 p.m., Crystal Falls area — Luke Thomas Seagraves, 22, of an unknown address on Longeway Road, booked on suspicion of drug possession after arrest on Red Heather Drive.

 SATURDAY
    3:22 a.m., Twain Harte — Blake Michael Wright, 22, of the 23100 block of Cresta Drive, booked on suspicion of drug possession and misdemeanor charges of possession of a switch blade and driving under the influence, after an arrest on the 22900 block of Joaquin Gully Road.
    3:46 a.m., Jamestown — Erin Michelle Hickie, 30, of Manteca, booked on suspicion of grand theft, after an arrest in Oakdale. Also arrested was Daniel Robert Vierra, 40, of Manteca, on suspicion of grand theft and petty theft with a prior. Hickie and Vierra were arrested after a “be on the lookout” order was posted for their vehicle after a deputy saw it on Victoria Way in Jamestown near a closed business, loading items. The owners of the business identified stolen items found in the couple’s possession, according to sheriff’s logs.
    6:50 p.m., Don Pedro — Edward Perry Ortiz, 48, of the 14600 block of Soledad Lane, booked on suspicion of damaging a telephone line after an arrest at his home.
    9 p.m., Columbia — James Lee Wells, 51, of the 22800 block of Bigler Street, booked on suspicion of assault, after an arrest at his home.
