The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:


9:54 a.m., Valley Springs — Someone saw a person break into a neighbor’s house on Yost Drive. The suspect then fled to the property behind the residence.

12:39 p.m., Jenny Lind — Someone on Main Street said people were target shooting in a careless manner.

12:47 p.m., San Andreas — A physical fight broke out at Turner Park on Treat Avenue but was stopped before Sheriff’s deputies arrived at the scene.

3:15 p.m., San Andreas — Someone at a business on East Saint Charles Street saw people selling cologne out of a vehicle.

3:27 p.m., San Andreas — An altercation between students occurred at San Andreas Elementary School on Lewis Avenue.

8:13 p.m., San Andreas — A woman was seen yelling at the library on Gold Hunter Road.

9:05 a.m., San Andreas — David Joseph Cirone, 53, of the 7400 block of Anderson Street, Valley Springs, was booked on suspicion of drug possession and bringing an illegal substance into a jail, after an arrest at the Calaveras County Jail on Mountain Ranch Road.

1:30 p.m., Valley Springs — Jacob Ryan Butler, 27, of the 12800 block of Milton Road, was booked on suspicion of illegally possessing ammunition as a person prohibited from owning it, after an arrest at his home.

4:35 p.m., Valley Springs — Constance Marie Kubalahubbs, 41, of the 2900 block of Butler Lane, was booked on suspicion of drug possession, after an arrest at her home.

Cited on suspicion of driving while under the influence of drugs or alcohol:


8:08 p.m., Copperopolis — Jeanette Irene Young, 38, of the 1000 block of Fairview Place, Angels Camp, was arrested at Highway 4 and Little John Road.


The Sonora Police Department reported the following:


9:04 a.m., property damage — Someone found evidence that an unknown person has been living in the building on South Stewart Street that used to house Sonora Family Bowl. A backpack and lit candles were found inside as well as spray paint on the walls.

11:20 a.m., warrant arrests — Someone spotted a 47-year-old man sitting at the patio of a business on Old Wards Ferry Road after being told to stay away from that location several days ago. Officers arrested him on a misdemeanor warrant.

5:46 p.m., controlled substances — A 20-year-old woman was arrested at Elkin and North Washington Streets on suspicion of being under the influence of illegal drugs.

7:58 p.m., controlled substances — A 25-year-old man was arrested in front of business on Mono Way on suspicion of being under the influence of illegal drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:


8:59 a.m., Twain Harte — An air conditioner was stolen from a residence on the 22600 block of Robin Hood Drive about two weeks ago.

10:51 a.m., East Sonora — Fuel was siphoned out of two rental trucks on the 19300 block of Industrial Drive.

11:24 a.m., Sonora area — Someone reported a case of identity theft on the 18400 block of Olov Road.

12:11 p.m., East Sonora — A woman said multiple items were stolen from her mailbox on the 20200 block of Peaceful Oak Road, including her daughter’s credit card which was then used to make purchases at retail stores in Oakdale, Riverbank and Sonora. 

12:47 p.m., Sonora — A woman in the Tuolumne County Library on Greenley Road was screaming that she was going to hurt herself or jump off a bridge. She was last seen heading toward Sonora Regional Medical Center on foot. Sheriff’s deputies were unable to locate her.

1:24 p.m., Twain Harte — Someone cut a chain to gain access to a property at Mount Provo and Confidence roads and stole a piece of equipment from a bulldozer.

2:14 p.m., Twain Harte — Someone saw people in an older white pickup truck dumping trash in a neighbor’s yard on the 22700 block of Cedar Pines Avenue without permission.

2:29 p.m., Strawberry — An innkeeper on the 31800 block of Highway 108 said a couple of patrons did not pay him for a night’s stay on Oct. 22 and stole towels and other small items from their room. The duo also used a stolen credit card to hold the room. The innkeeper later found out that the suspects were in custody at the Mono County Sheriff’s Office and wanted to file a report.

5:45 p.m., Jamestown — A property owner said multiple people in the neighborhood were stealing water and dumping trash at the address of duplexes he owns on the 18200 block of Ninth Street.

6:17 p.m., Columbia — A woman left her residence on the 22100 block of Parrotts Ferry Road unlocked overnight and her laptop and a battery charger for it were stolen.

9:19 a.m., Sonora — Robert Gene Bryant, 70, of the 13600 block of Red Hills Road, Chinese Camp, was booked on suspicion drug possession, drug possession with the intent to sell and being armed with a firearm during the commission of felony, after an arrest on South Washington Street.
