TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

9 a.m., Sonora area — A woman said a windmill was stolen from the yard of her residence on the 13500 block of Joshua Way.

10:11 a.m., Sonora area — A man on the 14100 block of Tuolumne Road said his satellite TV provider was billing him more than what was originally quoted. He was advised to contact the provider because it was a civil issue.

12:05 p.m., Groveland — A 33-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and harassment of a minor after he allegedly tried to inappropriately touch a girl, offered her marijuana and then took off his shirt at Mary Laveroni Community Park.

4:56 p.m., Jamestown — A man on the 18100 block of Main Street found a brown leather purse containing a wallet with credit cards and driver’s license on the roof of his house, which is about 12 feet off the ground.

5:20 p.m., Columbia — A woman said someone stole her father’s medication from his trailer near the intersection of Italian Bar Road and Cattledrive Trail.

5:29 p.m., Jamestown — A Toshiba laptop computer in a briefcase was found on the side of the road near Algerine and Jacksonville roads. The device was secured in evidence.

Felony bookings

WEDNESDAY

1:40 p.m., Columbia — Matthew Eugene Carlile, 30, of an unknown block on Valley Quail Road; Christopher John Killeen, 46, of the 12200 block of Wahine Drive; Leah Katherine Summers, 32, transient; and Samantha Christine Theobald, 39, of the 30200 block of Tuttletown Road, were booked on suspicion of drug possession, after arrests on Valley Quail Road.

10:24 p.m., Sonora — Michelle Lynn Dittrich, 35, of the 20400 block of Skyline Road, was booked on suspicion of obtaining a drug by fraud and burglary, after an arrest while in custody at Tuolumne County Jail.

WEDNESDAY

6 p.m., Big Oak Flat — Michael Anthony Zufolo, 73, of the 300 block of East 86th Street, New York City, was arrested on Highway 120 at Old Highway 120.

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

9:02 a.m., theft — A Modesto Bee newspaper box was stolen on South Washington Street.

10:20 a.m., fraudulent activities — A woman on North Norlin Street said her Facebook account had been hacked. She had already alerted Facebook’s fraud department and was only requesting documentation of the incident.

11:24 a.m., animal complaints — Two cats were abandoned without food or water in an apartment on Fairview Lane by the previous tenant. An officer transported both cats to Tuolumne County Animal Control and took a report of the incident.

3:02 p.m., public intoxication — A 34-year-old man was allegedly sitting in his car in the parking lot of Staples on Sanguinetti Road and getting high by inhaling air from a canister. He was cited and released on suspicion of public intoxication and possession of a substance similar to toluene with the intent to inhale.

5:33 p.m., property damage — A woman on Hospital Road said two men broke the windshield of her vehicle as it was parked and unoccupied. The men were last seen running up Hospital Road toward Mono Way.

9:10 p.m., property damage — A woman on North Washington Street reported damage to her vehicle because someone had placed a KKK sticker on it.

CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

8:40 a.m., Copperopolis — There was a report of vandalism near the boat launch on Kiva Drive.

12 p.m., Murphys — Someone on Forest Meadows Drive said they would file an identity theft report online.

2:43 p.m., Arnold —  A residence was burglarized on Oakmont Court.

3:40 p.m., San Andreas — Medication was stolen on Gold Strike Road.

5:50 p.m., San Andreas — There was a theft from a feed store on Highway 49.

WEDNESDAY

3:15 p.m., San Andreas — Paul Emil Rich, 67, of the 3700 block of Highway 49, was arrested on the 400 block of East Saint Charles Street.
