TUOLUMNE COUNTY

 

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

 

WEDNESDAY

5:41 a.m., unclassified — A transient who had been loitering around Sonora Regional Medical Center was told not to return unless he had a legitimate reason to be there.

8:47 a.m., trespass — The transient from the hospital incident was sleeping in the rear driveway of a business on the 200 block of South Barretta Street. He was asked to leave the area.

9 a.m., theft — Tools were stolen from a home on Steffen Way while the resident was out of town.

10:25 a.m., warrant arrests — A 34-year-old man was arrested on a misdemeanor warrant on South Stewart Street. 

12:49 p.m., vandalism — Three vehicles on the 200 block of Greenley Road were vandalized.

1:25 p.m., assault — A woman received medical attention for a sexual assault that she said occurred on South Poplar Street.

2:43 p.m., fraud — A pharmacy on the 1200 block of Sanguinetti Road received a forged prescription.

6:28 p.m., warrant arrest — A 46-year-old man was arrested on a misdemeanor warrant on the 1100 block of Sanguinetti Road.

 

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

 

WEDNESDAY

12:20 p.m., Sonora area — A woman with a valid driver’s license said her granddaughter was refusing to give her the keys to a vehicle because of her old age.

1:08 p.m., Tuolumne — A car was found without a tire and the windows smashed at Red Hills and Serpentine Loop roads.

3:39 p.m., Groveland — A woman on the 11300 block of Alice Lane said her bank card was fraudulently charged.

3:52 p.m., East Sonora — An insurance company on the 14500 block of Mono Way reported a fraudulent check.

5:44 p.m., Jamestown — Someone has been prowling on a property on the 10100 block of Hitchcock Court. 

10:52 p.m., Columbia — Someone was cited on suspicion of driving without vehicle registration and proof of insurance at Parrotts Ferry and Hudson roads.

 

THURSDAY

12:31 a.m., Tuolumne — A woman was arrested on a warrant on the 19300 block of Tuolumne Road North.

2:22 a.m., Sonora area — Someone was cited on suspicion of driving with expired vehicle registration at Mono Way and Hillsdale Drive. 

6:26 a.m., East Sonora — A cargo trailer at Highway 108 and Draper Mine Road was broken into sometime within the past four days. A compressor and pressure washer were taken.

WEDNESDAY

5:43 a.m., Columbia — Lloyd Dean Phillips Jr., 32, of the 21000 block of Old Sonora Road, was booked on suspicion of first degree burglary after an arrest at Mono Way and Greenley Road.

7:11 a.m., Tuolumne — Brittanie Rachelle Sanders, 19, of the 18700 block of Main Street, was booked on suspicion of possession of narcotics and a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia after an arrest at her home. 

7:11 a.m., Tuolumne — Michael Neel Hall, 50, of the 18700 block of Main Street, was booked on suspicion of possession of drugs after an arrest at his home.

12:22 p.m., Jamestown — Christian Espinosa Gonzalez, 20, of the 18000 block of Third Avenue, was booked on suspicion of possession of drugs, violation of probation and a misdemeanor charge of resisting an officer after an arrest on Seventh Street and Seventh Avenue.

9:01 a.m., Sonora — Miguel Rodriguez-Arenas, 23, a transient, was booked after an arrest on the 100 block of Pesce Way.

 

CALAVERAS COUNTY

 

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

12:10 p.m., Valley Springs — Petty theft was reported on Cedar Street.

1:52 p.m., Rail Road Flat — Identity theft was reported on Royal Lane.

2:42 p.m., Murphys — Petty theft was reported at a business on the 100 block of Highway 4.

WEDNESDAY

12:30 p.m., Valley Springs — Wayne Dalton Batchelor, 18, of the 6100 block of McCauley Road, was booked on suspicion of vandalism after an arrest at his home. 

12:30 p.m., Valley Springs — Jesse Boaz Schmidt, 18, of the 3100 block of Gillam Road, was booked on suspicion of vandalism after an arrest on the 6100 block of McCauley Road.

2:22 p.m., Angels Camp — Maji Sol Quay Danaher, 31, of the 3200 block of Sunnison Lane, Soquel, was booked on suspicion of possession of a firearm by a felon after an arrest on the Rolleri Bypass. He was also booked on misdemeanor charges of presenting false identification to an officer, possession of marijuana while driving and driving with a suspended license.

4:20 p.m., Valley Springs — William Carl Hunt, 20, of the 100 block of Myrtle Street, Angels Camp, was booked on suspicion of possession of drugs and a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia after an arrest on the 100 block of Bullion Hill Drive.

4:20 p.m., San Andreas — Austin Louis Judd, 18, of the 5400 block of Messing Road, Valley Springs, was booked on suspicion of vandalism after an arrest at the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office.

8:28 p.m., Valley Springs — Travis T. Rodriguez, 32, of Valley Springs, was booked on suspicion of arson of forest land after an arrest on the 200 block of Highway 12.

10:13 p.m., Valley Springs — Gabriel Coss Vargas Jr.. 46, of the 6900 block of McCauley Road, was booked on suspicion of failing to register as a sex offender after an arrest on the 6900 block of Hackett Court.

6:30 p.m., San Andreas — Thomas Charles Drake, 45, of the 100 block of Pope Street, San Andreas, was booked after an arrest at Highway 49 and Court Street. He was also booked on a misdemeanor charge of willful cruelty to a child.
