Sheriff's reports

TUESDAY

7:43 a.m., Jamestown — A woman on the 18200 block of Ninth Avenue said ceramic animals were stolen from her yard, but she was able to retrieve them.

9:05 a.m., Columbia — A man said homeless people have been camping on property near the 11300 block of Union Hill Road and that there was trash and other items left in the area.

9:31 a.m., Mono Vista — An employee at The Outpost gas station and minimart on the 20600 block of Soulsbyville Road said the store received four $100 counterfeit bills.

9:52 a.m., Tuolumne — A woman on Cedar Road said a diaper bag that had her son's medication in it was stolen from the boy's wheelchair.

10:14 a.m., Columbia — A woman said a man with shoulder-length blond hair and a khaki-colored fedora was watching Columbia Elementary School for over 30 minutes.

10:36 a.m., Ridgewood Estates — A woman found a fanny pack on the 16500 block of Crestridge Avenue and it looked like there were green cubes of rat poison inside.

1:39 p.m., East Sonora — A caller said a man who looked like a transient was hiding behind trees at The Junction shopping center and approaching elderly people who walked by. The caller also said the man was looking into parked cars.

2:50 p.m., Jamestown area — A man said his house on the 13800 block of Tulloch Road was broken into.

6:25 p.m., Willow Springs — A caller said about 12 children between the ages of 11 and 14 were at the Willow Springs cubhouse causing a disturbance.

7:40 p.m., Columbia — A woman said her son was assaulted by an 11-year-old boy while attending Columbia School's PM Club.

8:11 p.m., Columbia — A 23-year-old man was arrested on misdemeanor warrants at a house on the 22400 block of Airport Road South.

Felony bookings

TUESDAY

2 p.m., Phoenix Lake area — Jason Earl Bell, 24, 21000 block of Phoenix Lake Road, Sonora, and Lenora Lynn Auston, 20, 18300 block of Wards Ferry Road, Sonora, both booked on suspicion of felony battery after an arrest at Bell's house. No details were available. Both remained in jail this morning, held in lieu of $35,000 bail.

Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol:

Douglas Wayne Davenport, 40, no address given, booked at 11:30 p.m. Tuesday after an arrest on Stewart Street at Church Street, Sonora.

TUESDAY

8:48 a.m., traffic accident — A caller said an elderly woman driving a white pickup truck with a camper shell crossed the center line of Hospital Road and broke a mirror on the caller's car.

8:53 a.m., suspicious circumstances — A caller said a man was curled up in the grass in front of a business on the 1000 block of Mono Way.

1:45 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A caller said it appeared people had a party recently under a bridge on South Barretta Street.

3:21 p.m., theft — A caller said a speaker box and amplifier were stolen from a house on the 10 block of East Jackson Street.

5:30 p.m., animal complaints — A caller said a stray cat was caught in a trap at a house on the 600 block of Orchard Avenue.

TUESDAY

2:56 a.m., Copperopolis — Neighbors on the 9900 block of Springhill Ranch Road were arguing over a locked gate.

6:18 a.m., Valley Springs — A mother and son were arguing on the 5000 block of Hillvale Drive.

8:09 a.m., Valley Springs — Items were stolen from a vehicle parked on the 6700 block of Southworth Road.

9:53 a.m., Valley Springs —A suspicious vehicle was reported on the 2600 block of Danaher Drive. The vehicle belongs to the caller's neighbor.

10:19 a.m., Milton — Items were stolen from a locked storage shed on Hunt Road.

1:13 p.m., Angels Camp area — An argument involving racial slurs was reported on the 7100 block of Pool Station Road.

7:26 p.m., San Andreas — An argument regarding a parking space was reported on the first block of Main Street.

7:47 p.m., Copperopolis — A caller said people were riding dirt bikes at the intersection of Cheyenne Road and Canoe Street.

9:22 p.m., Copperopolis — An argument was reported on the 2300 block of Pamo Court.

10:04 p.m., Valley Springs — An argument regarding paperwork for a mobile home was reported on the 300 block of East Sequoia Avenue.

YESTERDAY

5:23 a.m., Rancho Calaveras — Roommates on the 7200 block of Da Lee Road were fighting each other.

Felony bookings

TUESDAY

9:54 a.m., San Andreas — Raymond Orosco Jr., 27, 1200 block of Buena Vista Avenue, Stockton, booked on a felony battery charge. He remained in custody this morning at the Calaveras County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail.

10:25 p.m., Valley Springs — Johnny Ambrose Gordillo, 21, 10400 block of Twin Cities Road, Galt, booked on suspicion of possessing drugs, drug paraphernalia and bringing drugs into jail. Gordillo remained in custody this morning at the Calaveras County Jail in lieu of $35,000 bail.

11:10 p.m., Valley Springs — Ashlyn Rae Didawick, 18, of Galt, booked on suspicion of possessing drugs. She remained in custody this morning in lieu of $15,000 bail.

Lisa Marie Owens, 32, 400 block of Toyon Court, San Andreas, booked at 10:15 p.m. Tuesday after arrest at the intersection of highways 12 and 26.
