Sheriff's reports

MONDAY

7:27 a.m., Mormon Creek area — A woman said she parked her car at the west end of Fraguero Road between 6:30 and 7:30 a.m. Monday. When she returned a window was smashed out and her purse was stolen.

9:04 a.m., Tuolumne area — A woman on the 20900 block of Tuolumne Road North said the clutch cable on her car was cut.

9:28 a.m., Phoenix Lake — A woman on the 21900 block of Montgomery Road said a window at her house was broken.

11:21 a.m., Jamestown — A caller said a man came into the Mother Lode Coffee Shop on the 18100 block of Main Street asking for money. When the caller told the man to leave, he started a fight.

11:43 a.m., Tuolumne — A Summerville High School administrator said he found a small amount of marijuana and a pipe on a student at the school.

11:43 a.m., Twain Harte — A man on the 22300 block of Ponderosa Drive said firewood had been stolen.

12:24 p.m., West county — A man said a 12-foot aluminum boat that was tied to an anchor on the shore near the 5100 block of Tulloch Lake Estates Road was missing.

2:25 p.m., Phoenix Lake — A woman said she found a knife in a bush across from a house on the 20500 block of Lori Lane and wanted a deputy to pick it up.

4:52 p.m., Soulsbyville area — A man said furnishings from a house on the 16700 block of Tuolumne Road were stolen.

5:52 p.m., Jamestown — A man said his briefcase containing clothing and small electronic devices was lost while he was in Sonora, possibly while at a business on the 18700 block of Highway 108.

6:21 p.m., Clark Fork — A woman said her wallet was stolen from the front seat of her truck, possibly by someone who helped her move her truck while it was stuck on rocks.

6:26 p.m., Cedar Ridge — A woman on the 17700 block of Mt. Elizabeth Drive said someone was shooting about 500 feet from her home.

6:59 p.m., Standard — A woman said her vehicle parked at Standard Park on the 18000 block of Standard Road was broken into and her purse and two cell phones were missing.

8:42 p.m., Willow Springs — A man on Allison Way said his wife walked out the back door, disappeared and has been gone for five hours. A deputy checked the area but did not find the woman.

9 p.m., Crystal Falls — A caller said several people in a white pickup truck were using drugs while the truck was parked on the 16800 block of Tehachapi Court.

10:47 p.m., Jamestown — A 29-year-old man was arrested on a misdemeanor warrant after a traffic stop on the 18300 block of Highway 108.

11:17 p.m., Crystal Falls — A woman on the 21000 block of Fallview Drive said a vehicle came up her driveway with its lights off. The vehicle left but the woman wanted someone to check the area.

YESTERDAY

1:59 a.m., Phoenix Lake — A woman on the 20800 block of Phoenix Lake Road said someone was banging on the back door and side of her house.

Felony bookings

YESTERDAY

12:34 a.m., East Sonora — Amber Marie Casillas, 25, no street address given, Reno, booked on suspicion of felony battery after an arrest at the Aladdin Motel on the 14200 block of Mono Way.

According to a sheriff's report, a motel manager said a man and a woman in a room were fighting. A deputy went to the room and spoke with the man, then spoke with Casillas, who was in her car in the parking lot. She was then arrested.

She remained in Tuolumne County Jail this morning, held in lieu of $35,000 bail.

Arrests

Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol:

Timothy Eugene Gisi Jr., 22, 16900 block of Broken Pine Road, Sonora, booked at 2:50 a.m. Monday after arrest on Middle Camp Road at Nile River Road.

Alfred Gumpfer-Pabilon, 20, no address given, Sugar Pine, booked at 8:02 p.m. Monday after arrest on the 300 block of South Washington Street, Sonora.

Scott Randall Tift, 43, 10100 block of Buckeye Court, Jamestown, booked at 11:50 p.m. Monday after arrest on Tuolumne Road at Wards Ferry Road, Standard area. Tift was also booked on a warrant charging him with failure to appear on a previous drunken-driving charge and driving with a license suspended for a previous drunken-driving conviction.

Sonora police reports

MONDAY

2:19 a.m., public service — An officer spotted a water pipe gushing 14 to 15 feet in the air in the Timberhills shopping center.

3:48 a.m., suspicious circumstances — A caller said a man wearing a blue shirt and black beanie was walking on South Washington Street at Restano Way, possibly drunk.

6:34 a.m., theft — The wheels from a 1999 Pontiac parked on North Stewart Street at Elkin Street were stolen and the lug nuts left on the ground.

9:36 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A caller said a vehicle has been parked in the Sonora Crossroads shopping center for more than 10 days.

10:03 a.m., arrest — A 23-year-old man was arrested on a San Bernardino County traffic warrant after a traffic stop on East Lyons Street.

10:17 a.m., animal complaints — A caller said a man was skateboarding on Greenley Road with his dog chasing him, but the dog was not on a leash.

12:56 p.m., traffic accident — No one was injured when a semi truck struck a passenger vehicle at the Sonora Plaza on Mono Way.

1 p.m., public service — An owl that had been hit and killed by a car was picked up on North Washington Street and Highway 49.

3:49 p.m., vandalism — Tires were damaged on a student's car parked at Sonora High School on Snell Street.

9:59 p.m., traffic accident — No one was injured in an accident at the Sonora Crossroads shopping center on Sanguinetti Road.

6:06 a.m., Valley Springs — A caller on the 6500 block of Cane Lane said someone was disturbing the peace by trimming weeds too early in the morning.

9:04 a.m., Arnold — A vehicle was vandalized and tools were possibly stolen from the 2000 block of El Dorado Drive.

9:28 a.m., Valley Springs — Items were stolen from an unmarked vehicle on the 10100 block of Roach Drive.

11:07 a.m., Valley Springs — A man and woman were fighting near a ball park on Sequoia Avenue.

12:11 p.m., Valley Springs — An ongoing dispute between neighbors was reported on the 7800 block of Cabernet Street.

2:38 p.m., Avery — A caller said two people were canoeing at McKay's Reservoir.

2:56 p.m., San Andreas — A man and woman were reported arguing at Turner Park.

8:07 p.m., Burson — A mother and son were reported arguing on the 5000 block of Hillvale Drive.

YESTERDAY

1:17 a.m., Glencoe — A caller on the 16000 block of Highway 26 said a big black bear was on his porch eating food that he put out for raccoons.

2:56 a.m., Copperopolis — Neighbors on the 9900 block of Springhill Ranch Road were arguing over a locked gate.
