Sheriff's reports

WEDNESDAY

7:46 a.m., Tuolumne — A man said a woman went into the man's car parked on the 18700 block of Madrone Street and stole his insurance papers, registration and money.

8:04 a.m., Don Pedro Reservoir — A woman said two vehicles parked overnight at Moccasin Point Marina had tires flattened and graffiti spray painted on them.

9:33 a.m., Jamestown area — A Hog Mountain Road man said his neighbor has been trespassing on his property with a dirt bike and an all-terrain vehicle.

12:24 p.m., Mono Village — A woman said a man came into her apartment on the 14000 block of Lolly Lane and stole items.

1:26 p.m., Jamestown — A woman on the 14600 block of Highway 108 said a rattlesnake was behind her house and needed assistance. A deputy killed the snake.

2:13 p.m., Strawberry — A man said his house on Leland Creek Road was broken into when someone kicked in the back door.

2:40 p.m., East Sonora — An Albertson's manager said a man tried to get refunds for a George Foreman Grill and a blender which he did not buy at the store.

3:16 p.m., Columbia — A woman said a man tried to run her over on State Street. When a deputy talked with the woman she said she just wanted the man to stay away from her. The deputy told her to think about getting a restraining order.

5:33 p.m., Standard area — A 44-year-old woman was booked on misdemeanor warrants after a traffic stop on Tuolumne Road near Hess Avenue.

5:43 p.m., Cedar Ridge — A man said there were seven vehicles at Cedar Ridge Lake with teens smoking and drinking nearby.

6:02 p.m., East Sonora — A 55-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of public drunkenness at The Junction shopping center.

6:29 p.m., Tuolumne — A man pouring concrete at Tuolumne Chevron on Carter Street said neighbors across the street came over and caused a disturbance, then left and threatened to come back.

6:57 p.m., Jamestown — A woman said three teens were in front of an apartment building on the 10200 block of Preston Lane harassing people and putting children into trash cans.

7:09 p.m., Columbia — A caller said a man hit another man over the head with a glass bottle while the two were on the 20700 block of Columbia Way.

9:21 p.m., Jamestown — A 53-year-old man was arrested on misdemeanor warrants after a traffic stop on the 18700 block of Highway 108.

11:15 p.m., Curtis Creek Ranch area — A 26-year-old man and a 28-year-old man were arrested on misdemeanor warrants after a traffic stop on Black Oak Road at Barron Ranch Road.

11:46 p.m., Sonora area — A caller said a man pointed a shotgun at him while the two were at a house on the 20000 block of Columbia Way.

YESTERDAY

12:23 a.m., East Sonora — Two men, one 49 and the other 47, were arrested on misdemeanor warrants after a traffic stop on Highway 108 east of The Junction shopping center.

WEDNESDAY

9:18 p.m., Sonora — Brandon Jeffrey Stearns, 28, 17300 block of Monte Grande Road, Soulsbyville, booked on a warrant charging him with vehicle theft. He was booked on the charge while in custody on other matters and remained held this morning in lieu of $10,000 bail.

11:32 p.m., Chinese Camp — Doris Jeanette Murphy, 22, 300 block of Fairview Lane, Sonora, booked on a warrant charging her with receiving stolen property and failure to appear in court after an arrest on Main Street and Highway 120. She was released to the Tuolumne County Probation Department.

Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol:

Senen Torres, 57, 3000 block of Freedom Lane, Modesto, booked at 11:30 p.m. Wednesday after arrest on Tuolumne Road at Highway 108, East Sonora.

WEDNESDAY

7:08 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A man said a chain saw was stolen from a house on East Jackson Street while he was in jail.

7:56 p.m., theft — A caller said items were stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked at Tuolumne General Hospital Tuesday.

1:13 p.m., disorderly conduct — A caller said two men, one with a dog on a leash, were banging on a door on the 500 block of South Washington Street.

1:45 p.m., animal complaints — A caller said a pit bull was running loose near a bus stop on Bourbon Street.

3:35 p.m., disorderly conduct — A woman said a man driving a light blue Honda who tried to pass her while the two were on the 900 block of Mono Way, followed her. She went to the police department and he parked at a nearby business.

5:48 p.m., traffic accident — An officer took a report from the parties involved in a traffic accident on Highway 108 at Sanguinetti Road.

6:37 p.m., weapons violation — A caller said a child saw a man with what looked like a BB gun on Linoberg Street.

6:41 p.m., public intoxication — A 29-year-old man was booked on suspicion of public intoxication after an arrest on Linoberg Street.

7:49 p.m., weapons violation — A caller said two teenage boys were walking down Hospital Road carrying a gun. Responding officers found no gun.

WEDNESDAY

6:41 a.m., San Andreas — A caller on the 400 block of Marshall Street said construction workers were using a loud jackhammer on St. Charles Street. The workers had a permit to begin work at 6 a.m.

8:47 a.m., San Andreas — Personal items were reported stolen during a soccer game at Calaveras High School.

9:41 a.m., San Andreas — A cell phone was stolen on the 300 block of East St. Charles Street.

4:26 p.m., Valley Springs — A caller on the 2500 block of Hoffman Court said their neighbor was playing loud music and refused to turn it down.

4:28 p.m., Camanche — A deputy found a pet turkey on South Camanche Parkway.

4:54 p.m., Arnold — A caller on the 2600 block of Country Club Drive said their neighbors were having a loud argument.

6:25 p.m., San Andreas —A caller on the 300 block of Mariposa Street said a parent next door had been yelling at a child for the past three hours. A deputy found that it was actually two children playing.

6:45 p.m., Valley Springs area — A caller on the 5000 block of Driver Road said they were furious that people were parking on their property for an open house at Jenny Lind Elementary.

7:01 p.m., West Point — A caller on the 2300 block of Lily Gap Road reported being chased by a dog while riding on his motorcycle. He said he was then threatened by the dog's owner.

YESTERDAY

3:25 a.m., San Andreas — Carin Dee Alatorre, 49, 400 block of Foothill Court, San Andreas, booked on a Tuolumne County warrant for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and causing property damage. Alatorre remained in custody this morning at the Calaveras County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail.
