Sheriff's reports


10:12 a.m., Cedar Ridge — A man said his neighbor's house on the 23000 block of Stage Coach Drive was burglarized after seeing a sliding glass door pried open.

11:24 a.m., Twain Harte — A caller said he had information about a man sleeping with a teenage girl and wanted advice.

1:34 p.m., Big Oak Flat — A woman said a young child was missing from a business on the 17500 block of Highway 120 for five minutes. At 1:42 p.m. the child had been located unharmed.

1:48 p.m., Chinese Camp — A man on the 11000 block of Rock River Road said a man driving a white van was loading rocks from the caller's fence into the van.

3:15 p.m., Tuolumne — A man said someone used his stolen credit card twice at a convenience store on the 18300 block of Tuolumne Road.

4:13 p.m., Racetrack Road area — A woman said a developmentally disabled man assaulted a staff member at a board and care home. She was afraid he might harm someone else.

4:37 p.m., Jamestown — A woman found a purse outside a business on the 18200 block of Main Street.

4:49 p.m., Pinecrest — A woman said her house on the 300 block of Crestview Avenue was broken into and two purses stolen.

5 p.m., Jamestown — A caller said a woman driving a green Chevy pickup truck was chasing another person in a green car. Both drivers were yelling as they drove on Fifth Avenue near Seco Street.

7:07 p.m., Jamestown — A caller said a small silver sports car was parked in a handicapped zone in a parking lot on Preston Lane.

7:18 p.m., Jamestown — A deputy talked to people fighting on the 18000 block of Seco Street after being flagged down by a citizen.

7:51 p.m., Don Pedro area — A woman on the 4700 block of Arbolada Drive found a fawn with a collar and a rope tied to it in a field near her house. The woman was given the phone number of an animal rescue group.

8:36 p.m., Tuolumne — A Me-Wuk tribal security officer said a woman was walking down Mi Wu Street carrying a duffel bag and appeared to be "out of it."

9:03 p.m., Columbia — A caller said neighbors on Quail Mine Road near Big Hill Road have been setting off firecrackers at night and the caller was worried about fire danger.

9:44 p.m., Wards Ferry Road area — A caller said the occupants of a Toyota pickup truck were parked in a cul-de-sac on Albert Lane Road near Route 5 Road having sex and throwing used condoms in the street. The caller said this is an ongoing problem.


1:37 a.m., Jamestown — A 34-year-old woman was arrested on misdemeanor warrants at a convenience store on the 18300 block of Highway 108 after a deputy saw her and knew she was wanted.

3:30 a.m., Sonora — John David Castle, 31, 21100 block of Lyons-Bald Mountain Road, Sonora, booked on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance, bringing drugs or alcohol into the jail and misdemeanor drunken driving after an arrest on East Church Street at South Stewart Street. He was released Friday after posting $10,000 bail.

6:46 p.m., Sonora — Larry Wayne Ferguson, 43, 22500 block of Confidence Road, Twain Harte, booked on suspicion of possessing a completed check with the intent to pass it and defraud after an arrest on Pesce Way at Highway 49, Sonora. No details were available. He was released on his own recognizance after appearing in court yesterday.

11:15 p.m., Columbia — Aaron Rodney Billigmeier, 28, 900 block of Iroquois Court, Copperopolis, booked on suspicion of possessing concentrated cannabis after an arrest on South Airport Road at Horseshoe Bend Road, Columbia, after a traffic stop by a California Highway Patrol officer. Billigmeier was released Friday after posting $2,000 bail.

Anthony Joseph Salemme, 38, 22400 block of South Airport Road, Columbia, booked at 7:10 p.m. Friday after arrest on Parrotts Ferry Road at Sawmill Flat Road, Columbia.

Elvis Brian Babcock, 26, 15400 block of Big Hill Road, Sonora, booked at 3:25 a.m. Saturday after arrest on Restano Way at South Washington Street, Sonora.

Sean-Paul Martinez, 24, 3900 block of Chilton Lane, San Bruno, booked at 7:10 p.m. Saturday after arrest on Highway 49 at Melones Court, Tuttletown area.

Gary James Blodgett Jr., 39, 3200 block of Vista Monte Drive, San Jose, booked at 8:25 p.m. Saturday after arrest on Highway 108 west of Hillsdale, East Sonora.

Dennis Lee Sullivan Jr., 52, 10600 block of Campo Seco Road, Jamestown, booked at 9:05 p.m. Saturday after arrest on Highway 108 at Rawhide Road, Jamestown.

Charles Edward Macias, 47, 3000 block of Mark Avenue, Santa Clara, booked at 11:55 p.m. Saturday after arrest on Highway 108 west of Mono Way, Sonora.

Jessica Christina Bender, 22, 23500 block of Italian Bar Road, Columbia, booked at 3:03 a.m. Saturday after arrest on Shepherd Street at William Street, Sonora.

Gregory Lynn Cramblit, 57, 11900 block of Myer Court, Groveland, booked at 3:20 a.m. Saturday after arrest on Breckenridge Road at Pine Mountain Drive, Groveland.

Curtis John Cash, 26, 200 block of Mylnar Avenue, Manteca, booked at 1 a.m. Sunday after arrest on East Bradford Avenue at South Stewart Street, Sonora.

Kenneth Ray Biehle, 42, 16100 block of Jacksonville Road, Jamestown, booked at 2:55 a.m. Sunday after arrest on Eureka Road at West Walnut Drive, Sonora.

Sarah Jane Richardson, 41, 90 block of Summit Avenue, Sonora, booked at 3 a.m. Sunday after arrest on Gold Street at South Washington Street, Sonora.

Brian Josh Moreno, 24, 100 block of Dossi Way, Sonora, booked at 10:10 p.m. Sunday after arrest on South Washington Street at Theall Street, Sonora.

3:08 a.m., assault — A caller said a woman assaulted the caller on Calaveras Way.

6:52 a.m., found property — An officer found a cell phone on top of a car parked on South Barretta Street at Cemetery Lane and left a card for the owner to call the police department to pick it up.

10:26 a.m., suspicious circumstances — Motorcycle riders came to the police station to get help for a woman going into a diabetic coma.

12:10 p.m., traffic accident — No one was injured in a vehicle versus motorcycle accident on Mono Way, but fuel was leaking from the bike.

2:39 p.m., theft — A caller said a car parked on Oakside Drive was vandalized.

4:02 p.m., theft — A wallet was taken out of a truck parked at a store on South Washington Street.

6:31 p.m., disorderly conduct — An officer broke up a fight in a parking lot on Stockton Road.

9:39 a.m., Valley Springs — A house was reportedly burglarized on the 6100 block of Garner Lane.

4:10 p.m., Wilseyville —A lost 12-year-old was safely returned home on Mitchel Mill Road.

4:23 p.m., Rail Road Flat — A juvenile was reportedly beat up and harassed by other juveniles on the 200 block of Rail Road Flat Road.

4:48 p.m., Arnold — A deputy went to check a bar on the 800 block of Highway 4.

5:15 p.m., Avery — A suspicious person was reported at Avery Middle School.

5:27 p.m., Angels Camp — An ice cream booth at Frogtown was vandalized.

5:33 p.m., Copperopolis — A caller on the 2900 block of Cheyenne Road said suspicious people were on private property.

6:33 p.m., Rail Road Flat — A man who was sleeping in front of a school on the 300 block of Rail Road Flat Road was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication.

7:24 p.m., Angels Camp — A fight involving a knife was reported at Frogtown's main gate.

8:58 p.m., Copperopolis — A father and daughter fought on the 2300 block of Canoe Street.

10:08 p.m., Angels Camp — There was a report of public intoxication at Frogtown.

10:46 p.m., Murphys — A man and woman were arguing on the 200 block of Apple Blossom Drive.

11:10 p.m., Angels Camp — There was a report of loud and disruptive campers at New Melones Lake.

Felony bookings


11:37 p.m., Vallecito — Rosa Delia Patina, 41, 200 block of Shady Lane, Vallecito, booked on a felony battery charge. Patina remained in custody this morning at the Calaveras County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail.


1:10 a.m., Wallace — Corey Dean Gruneich, 37, 500 block of Crane Drive, Exeter, booked on suspicion of possessing methamphetamine and a dangerous weapon. Gruneich remained in custody this morning at the Calaveras County Jail in lieu of $15,000 bail.

10:15 p.m., Vallecito — Carolyn Elizabeth Bartlett, 36, 4100 block of Cedar Circle, Vallecito, booked on a felony battery charge. As of this morning, Bartlett remained in custody this morning in lieu of $50,000 bail.



11:40 p.m., Jenny Lind — An arson fire was reported on the 7100 block of Connor Drive in Jenny Lind. Damage was estimated at $500 to a utility trailer. Landowner is unknown. Anyone with information should call Richard Imlach at 532-0821. California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, Jenny Lind Fire Protection District and Foothill Fire Protection District responded.
