TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

MONDAY

11:01 a.m., traffic accident — A non-injury vehicle accident was reported on South Washington Street.

11:24 a.m., harassment — A man was harassing a woman by phone, telling her he was collecting money for law enforcement.

1:41 p.m., traffic violation — A 24-year-old man was cited on suspicion of driving without a license on the 1100 block of Sanguinetti Road.

2:57 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A woman said someone asked if she wanted to buy a marijuana joint while at a business on the 400 block of Stockton Road.

3:37 p.m., animal complaint — A dog attacked another dog on Truckenmiller Road. 

5:45 p.m., obstructing justice, resisting officer — A 33-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of resisting a public officer at South Washington Street and Restano Way.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

MONDAY

7:48 a.m., Jamestown — Gas was siphoned from a vehicle on the 11100 block of McKibbin Drive.

8:26 a.m., Sonora area — A man reported elder abuse to his mother by his sister.

8:31 a.m., Sonora area — Someone rifled through mailboxes on the 20300 block of Buckeye Mine Road.

11:24 a.m., Sonora area — Someone saw a man jump out of a truck and punch an elderly man in the head on the 13700 block of Mono Way. 

12:03 p.m., Jamestown — Gas was siphoned from a pickup truck on the 18900 block of North Drive.

12:52 p.m., Sonora area — A woman was in the emergency room for treatment after being sexually assaulted on the 20100 block of Jamestown Road.

TUESDAY

3:46 a.m., Jamestown — A man and woman were arrested on suspicion of resisting arrest on the 18300 block of Highway 108. The woman was also arrested for a misdemeanor warrant.

MONDAY

7:27 p.m., Sonora area — James Lee Amador, 37, of the 1800 block of West Rumble Road, Modesto, was booked on suspicion of possession of stolen property after an arrest at Tuolumne County Jail.

CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

MONDAY

9:09 a.m., San Andreas — Someone was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication at Calaveras River Academy.

10:33 a.m., Murphys — A residence on Nickerson Lane was vandalized.

12:20 p.m., Valley Springs — A residence on Jenny Lind Road was burglarized.

2:30 p.m., Angels Camp — Trash was dumped on the side of Dogtown Road.

7:11 p.m., Mokelumne Hill — A vehicle was burglarized at the Big Bar River Access on Highway 49.

9:13 p.m., Vallecito — A vehicle was burglarized at Natural Bridges.

10:23 p.m., Angels Camp —Someone was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication on the 200 block of South Main Street.

10:47 p.m., Angels Camp — A 50-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication and several other charges on the 100 block of North Main Street.

8 a.m., San Andreas — Todd Anthony Crawford, 48, of the 700 block of Alpine Avenue, Angels Camp, was booked after an arrest on the 100 block of Saint Charles Street.
