TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

FRIDAY

10:33 a.m., traffic violations — A 48-year-old man was cited on suspicion of a lighting equipment violation and driving with a suspended license on the 1000 block of Mono Way.

10:42 a.m., fraud — Fraud was reported at a pharmacy on Mono Way.

4:17 p.m., fraud — A fraudulent prescription was called into a pharmacy on Delnero Drive.

5:01 p.m., traffic accident — A vehicle accident was reported at South Washington and Gold streets.

5:34 p.m., traffic accident — A truck hit propane lines on June Street and left the scene.

6:09 p.m., traffic accident — An auto accident was reported at Mono Way and Greenley Road. The people involved requested documentation only.

7:28 p.m., open container — A 46-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of having an open container of alcohol in Rotary Park.

SATURDAY

9:40 a.m., suspicious circumstances — Kids were seen selling beer on the sidewalk on South Washington Street. Officers were unable to locate them.

10:14 a.m., traffic accident — A vehicle accident was reported on Orchard Avenue.

12:34 p.m., public intoxication — A 46-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication on South Washington Street.

12:34 p.m., traffic accident — A horse trailer clipped a vehicle and was stuck to it on the 600 block of South Washington Street. The drivers were able to free the vehicles and they exchanged information.

6:07 p.m., traffic accident — Two vehicles collided on the 1100 block of Mono Way.

8:21 p.m., driving under the influence — A man spent about five minutes trying to mount his motorcycle and was driving all over the roadway on South Washington Street. Officers were unable to locate the driver.

8:50 p.m., traffic violations — A 32-year-old woman was cited on suspicion of driving without a license and registration on South Washington Street.

9:03 p.m., traffic violations — Someone was cited on suspicion of driving with expired registration, no proof of insurance and a headlight violation on Old Wards Ferry Road.

11:14 p.m., driving under the influence — Someone was driving erratically on Stockton Road.

SUNDAY

9 a.m., reckless driving — A reckless driver was reported on the 800 block of Mono Way but police were unable to locate the vehicle.

10:36 a.m., traffic violations — A 47-year-old woman was cited on suspicion of driving with a suspended license and expired registration on South Washington Street.

11:10 a.m., warrant arrest — A 43-year-old man was arrested on the 100 block of South Washington Street on a misdemeanor warrant for battery.

11:28 a.m., pedestrian check — A small amount of marijuana was confiscated from someone in Courthouse Square and booked for destruction.

1:46 p.m., animal complaint — A dog went inside a business on the 11400 block of Sanguinetti Road and bit an employee. The employee declined medical attention and the dog was transported to Tuolumne County Animal Control for quarantine.

2:34 p.m., pedestrian check — An officer contacted three people in Prospector Park and told them to stop inhaling whipped cream.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

FRIDAY

2:08 a.m., Jamestown — A 31-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia on the 18300 block of Highway 108.

9:21 a.m., Tuolumne — The rear window of a van was found broken on the 20200 block of Tuolumne Road North.

9:38 a.m., Columbia — A check that was deposited in the U.S. Postal Service mailbox on the 10900 block of Green Street never made it to the recipient. The sender believes it was in the mailbox when the mailbox was stolen. 

6:03 p.m., Tuolumne — Juveniles were fighting on the 18400 block of Tuolumne Road and one was in the emergency room for treatment.

6:04 p.m., West County — A vehicle was burglarized while parked near O’Byrnes Ferry Bridge.

7:22 p.m., Sonora area — Sexual assault was reported at Chukar Circle and Grouse Way.

8:53 p.m., Tuolumne — A plastic bag containing a white powdery substance was found at a business on the 19400 block of Tuolumne Road North.

9 p.m., Sonora — A man was found in possession of drugs during surgery at Sonora Regional Medical Center.

SATURDAY

2:37 a.m., Jamestown — A 25-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication on 18100 block of Highway 108.

2:12 p.m., Sonora area — An attempted burglary of a residence was reported on the 12600 block of Red Chestnut.

5:11 p.m., Columbia — A 43-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia and a warrant on the 10600 block of Columbia Way. A 63-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of drug paraphernalia.

5:15 p.m., Sonora Meadows — Juveniles were playing with Airsoft guns at Sullivan Creek School on Hidden Valley Road. A deputy determined there was no threat of vandalism. 

6:17 p.m., Tuolumne — Possible methamphetamine was found at the Tuolumne Youth Center and given to a deputy.

SUNDAY

1:45 a.m., Jamestown — Assault was reported at a business on the 18200 block of Main Street. 

7:27 a.m., Sonora area — A vehicle was egged overnight on the 24200 block of Martingale Lane.

9:17 a.m., Sonora area — A bobcat or mountain lion was spotted near the 23800 block of Pack Trail Road.

4:06 p.m., Sonora area — A router and tools were stolen from a garage on the 21800 block of El Oso Way.

6:47 p.m., Tuolumne — A cash-out ticket worth $300 was stolen at a casino on the 19400 block of Tuolumne Road North.

9:06 p.m., Sonora area — A gold ring and phone charger were stolen from a home on the 16600 block of Allison Way.

MONDAY

12:41 a.m., East Sonora — A woman said her neighbor was shooting at her residence on the 14600 block of Mono Way.

6:32 a.m., East Sonora — A home on the 19400 block of Hillsdale Drive was burglarized.

FRIDAY

2:25 a.m., Jamestown — Drury Marie York, 29, of the 1400 block of West Walnut Street, Stockton, was booked on suspicion of possession of drugs and a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia after an arrest on Highway 108 at Rawhide Road.

12:16 p.m., Sonora area — Bruce Harold Price, 60, of the 22500 block of Upper Quail Mine Road, was booked after an arrest on Yankee Hill Road near Sawmill Flat Road. He was also booked on a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. 

SATURDAY

5:05 p.m., Jamestown — Paul Bryan Martin, 56, of the 4000 block of Highway 132, Coulterville, was booked after an arrest on Highway 120 west of Highway 49. 

7:10 p.m., Sonora area — Evan Grant Hicks-Johnson, 24, of the 400 block of Gold Court, San Andreas, was booked after an arrest on the 20900 block of Jamestown Road.

7:39 p.m., Jamestown — Elizabeth Ann Rae O’Connor, 63, of the 1300 block of Cooper Avenue, Turlock, was booked after an arrest on Highway 120 at Green Springs Road. She was also booked on a misdemeanor charge of being under the influence of drugs. 

11:48 p.m., Sonora area — Efrain Pinela Corral, 18, of the 17200 block of Black Bart Drive, Jamestown, was booked after an arrest on Greenley Road at Mono Way. He was also booked on a misdemeanor charge of being under the influence of drugs.

CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

FRIDAY

10:37 a.m., Jenny Lind — A 27-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of drugs on the 12900 block of Milton Road.

5:53 p.m., West Point — Battery was reported on Bald Mountain Road.

7:58 p.m. Angels Camp — A possible drunk driver was reported on North Main Street.

SATURDAY

5:12 p.m., Arnold — A man was yelling at a duck pond and hitting his head on a picnic table on Pine Drive.

7:56 p.m., Vallecito — Battery was reported on Vallecito Bypass Road.

9:57 p.m., Valley Springs — Young men were seen drinking beer in a car on Highway 26.

SUNDAY

8:57 a.m., Valley Springs — A 55-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving with a license suspended for a DUI after an arrest on the 200 block of Highway 12.

9:01 a.m., Valley Springs — Someone was walking around a residence on Hoffman Drive and trying to open each of its doors.

3:36 p.m., San Andreas — Michael David Jennings, 24, of an unknown address in San Andreas, was booked on suspicion of possession of narcotics and a misdemeanor charge of public intoxication after an arrest on the 300 block of Treats Avenue.

SATURDAY

12:16 a.m., Valley Springs — Kellie Isert, 35, of the 2800 block of Hoffman Drive, was booked on suspicion of possession of narcotics after an arrest at Highway 26 and Hagen Road. She was also booked on misdemeanor charges of being under the influence of drugs, driving under the influence of drugs, willful cruelty to a child, trespassing and petty theft.

2:19 p.m., Valley Springs — Benjamin Thomas Kerr, 27, of an unknown address in Valley Springs, was booked on suspicion of possession of drugs and a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia after an arrest on the 100 block of Highway 26.

4:03 p.m., Mokelumne Hill — Bart Wayne Geiszler, 54, of the 8600 block of Easy Bird Road, was booked on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon with great bodily injury, possession of ammunition by a prohibited person and possession of a firearm by a felon after an arrest at his home. He was also booked on misdemeanor charges of exhibiting a deadly weapon.

4:35 p.m., Mokelumne Hill — Calvin Zackary Albert, 18, of the 8600 block of Easy Bird Road, was booked on suspicion of stealing from an elder or dependant after an arrest at his home.

11:21 p.m., Angels Camp — Lorine Theresa Valasek, 43, of the 800 block of Selkirk Ranch Road, was booked on suspicion of battery on a custodial officer and a misdemeanor charge of public intoxication after an arrest at her home.

SUNDAY

8:19 p.m., Copperopolis — Earl Linwood Pike Jr., 43, of the 700 block of Craig Avenue, Campbell, was booked on suspicion of vehicle theft and possession of stolen property on Highway 4 west of Little John Road.

FRIDAY

5 a.m., Valley Springs — Stephanie August Boylan, 36, of the 6700 block of Fricot City Road, San Andreas, was booked after an arrest on Highway 12 at Upper Lime Creek Road. She was also booked on a misdemeanor charge of being under the influence of drugs.

SATURDAY

1:50 p.m., West Point — James Donald Thorup, 56, of the 2100 block of Blue Mountain Road, Wilseyville, was booked after an arrest on Barney Way. He was also booked on a misdemeanor charge of violation of probation.

11:23 p.m., Angels Camp — Denise Eileen Hoyt, 51, of the 12300 block of Scott Grant Road, Marysville, was booked after an arrest at South Main and Monte Verde Streets.
